  1. Just part I? Maybe not. A friendly YouTube comment pointed out "there are part 2, part 3, Deedrah remix, Mystica Remix, Astrix remix (uhh....), part 3 Filteria Remix, part 3 Nolax remix". Maybe unreleased, who knows...
  2. Hidden Markov model. But I could also use a bit of vacation.
  3. No, the Etnica track. I believe it's quite widely agreed that the track listing of TJAUtBL is wrong. Gili's Voyages (#1 and #3) sound alike, but it's Vicky's Dream (#4, really) which everyone likes.
  4. Buuuuuut...is it Vicky's Dream?
  5. Every Ufomatka track is amazing, or "not bad" at the very least. Are there any news of an album/EP?
  6. So I've browsed through common CD stores a few times this year and made a couple of orders, but for some reason I haven't followed the free release side since March or so. I'll probably go through it all at some point, but now I'd like to get started somewhere. A few good releases for background listening while getting stuff done this weekend would be nice. In short, what's been good so far? And if I may ask... Yes, please: - title (+optionally label etc.) - link to the release - a few words or at least an approximate genre No thanks: - YouTube spam - everything and the kitchen sink - self-promotion
  7. Looks like it's from Bill Hicks - Revelations. Tube clip
  8. Master Margherita - Super Dry http://www.discogs.com/Master-Margherita-Hippies-With-Gadgets/release/1783609
  9. It's been four hours! Where's the upload?!?
  10. Agreed. Acetates (aka dubplates) are not pressed but carved. Also, they generally have a metal core with a lacquered surface which permits this kind of production. That's what makes them heavy. They don't compare to vinyls because there's no vinyl. Also, there are no masters nor moulds, because the whole thing is a master, sort of. The listing doesn't tell where this plate came from. In fact, it only says "containing 2 superb classic tracks from the year 1996" without really stating that the item would be from 1996. Unless there's a good story behind it (and preferably a proof of authenticity), I don't see how it would be any different from an unlabelled two-sided dubplate you could order yourself. They're not that expensive. I recall something like 50e each. Producing a single copy is completely viable - even a standard practice. Note that acetates wear a lot faster than vinyl. You couldn't even play it that many times. Not much point in paying huge amounts for an unverified acetate which may be just a random private bootleg. This probably has nothing to do with the Alcyone single or its moulds.

  12. Meanwhile, Wizzy Noise - Dark City does not sample it.
  13. Did you perform a "Still on Mars" charade?
  14. ...or look at its butt when it walks by?
  15. That makes sense. However, for many work-related problems (unemployment, crap job) that would translate to "get a well-paying dream job", which is easier said than done.
  16. Could you list the formats (CD/file/vinyl/LP/EP/single/comp/whatever) of these too? Some links would be even nicer.
  17. Dreamlands movie campaign stuff.
  18. An ancient type of ax, now extinct.
