TB4005 free bass synth. Awesome, yet simple.
postunder replied to Chis's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
hmmmm tried it... don't really like it doesn't sound that good. enevelopes aren't tight and osc sounds strange. the chord thing is kinda cool i guess. -
hey scube, those peaks are probably "fine" from a mastering point of view, but its just ot very neatly done... just go in your mix, find the sounds that make these peaks, and tweak them so they are more under control.

cheers, hope you enjoy tim's music -
a note on waves l2- try putting it, and then just for testing put a crossover filter after it, and kill all sounds except the lows, and listen how the l2 introduces clicking to your lows... especially on a high setting like -8.... i stopped touching the l2, overated plug that doesn't sound that great imo.

Remix Faxi Nadu Tracks !
postunder replied to postunder's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
New remix project is up! http://www.postunder.net/remix/faxi_nadu_-...ROJECT_FLAC.zip Faxi Nadu - Star One March 2007 Dark/Techno/Minimal - 148bpm - Included are track channels and additional sounds, most are in wav 44/16 format, some are in wav 44/24. - The track is in 148bpm. The only note used is D#. - Please name your remix as such - "Faxi Nadu - Star One (Your Name Remix) - Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions, problems or advice on the project. ***one small issue: i noticed when i exported the sounds, that some of them got added a bit of silence in the beggining, so they might not snap perfect with the bpm. just open the sound in your sequencer and make it so the file stats where actual sound starts. not a big issue, but be aware of it*** Have fun with this and let me know what you come up with!!!! http://www.postunder.net/remix/faxi_nadu_-...ROJECT_FLAC.zip -
just take the ts404, fill the pattern on each note with same note, put high res on the filter of the ts, automate the cutoff.

Korg Mono/Poly VS Korg MS 2000
postunder replied to snowball's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
i dont think the ms2000 is cheap... the build is not as good sure, but the synth is good. the filter is not "fat", but it is very precise and smooth. there are advantages and disadvantages to anything. -
Korg Mono/Poly VS Korg MS 2000
postunder replied to snowball's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
ya thats the coolest feature in the mono/poly - the mod/arpeg section is special the Mono/Poly is he favorite Korg synth of Mr. Mori, the developer who developed many of Korg's products. also, i stand corrected, the synth is a 4osc like crazyboris said. -
Korg Mono/Poly VS Korg MS 2000
postunder replied to snowball's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
cant really compare... the monopoly is analog 3osc... the ms2000 is a full deatured digital. i had a monopoly here for a bit, great synth and special sound, but i think today there is no question the ms2000 is a better buy. the monopoly is one of the nicer vintage machines though. -
Selective Effects Question
postunder replied to Otto Matta's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
either that or open the snare hit in a wav editor, apply the delay and put it back in the tune with the regular snares. also u can put a delay on your current snare track, record/export it, cut one hit out of the exported bit, put it back in the tune with the other snares and take off the delay from the track
