Apparently I'm the only person that thinks this release sucks badly. The dark mix is horrible! Uhhhh. The twilight mix is better but still lacks the chemistry from all their other stuff. To me this is 1/5 or 2/5.

Psytrance describes a lot of music from 99-03 at least, it's neither goa nor fullon nor progressive. It's a term to describe a type of music. It's NOT an overarching term (IMO). Maybe you should call these divisions of Psychedelic Music or something. Ambient has nothing "trance" about it. Some of the chillout has other beats too.

They are mostly all NM-M, otherwise noted... VG has some scratches, G has lots of scratches. All CDs read without problems using EAC. Ask if you want a picture. +1 I guess it's debatable whether "chillout" does it not and to what extent. I don't really like the idea of calling all these substyles of psytrance anyways... even psytrance a subsyle of psytrance?

Solar Fields -- First album is GREAT... second album not as good. H.U.V.A. Network -- First album kind of boring, second album much better. Essential Trip -- Remember liking some of the tracks but even though I listened 3 times I can't remember anything about it a couple days later! Taruna -- Maybe it had some structure but wasn't very good other than that. Tripswitch -- Not too good but decent. Kaya Project -- Total crap. I kind of took a liking to Aes Dana - Memory Shell and Asura - Life2, even though both are still kind of empty in my mind. I realized they are really good to put me to sleep at night. Also I just must say... I like lots of ambient music too, but there's tons more interesting stuff from the 90s than some of the more ambient chillout, and ambient music doesn't have to be floaty. For example Solar Fields - Extended, almost the whole album seems boring and cliche.

Are we back in grade 2? Since you appear not to have learned this in personal experience... as one progresses through the grades in school the rules become less strict and in the end at university there are not any rules other than the bare minimum: no cheating... maybe that's the only rule left? Anyways we are not in class here, it's an internet message board. And it's common sense not to force "strict moderation" unless you are running a sheltered forum or want to piss your members off. Moderators aren't supposed to do anything except delete/ban people spamming the forum to the point it degrades it for everyone... I worded it like that because the odd post like "k" or "..." doesn't hurt anyone, but if every second post by the guy was that for no good reason, for example, then maybe he should be banned.

High or low or WHAT?? I used a band filter to create the sound. I can make a similar one with the low or high... but the meter goes higher on the master with those than with the band pass already so I guess that's best?
