Ha, it's funny that you're asking about those tracks. I used to listen to Pulse samplers during playing Tempest X³ on the PSX. You should check out its soundtracks (and Tempest 2000 as well) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qx2xqUDITL0 Imo it's the most psychedelic game out there.

Very good release. It immediately reminded me of Cybernetika's works, with some MFG and 16-bit Sega Genesis shoot 'em ups :-) = pretty unique sound I'd say. I really love the dark, dark, dark outer space atmosphere. OMG it's really dark. If the xenomorphs from the "Alien" movie series would dance in their spare time, I think this would be the soundtrack they'd rave to.

It's one thing to listen to the music on CD, which I basically don't...but seeing him perform live, even the new stuff works quite well on the dancefloor. I'm not saying it's as good as let's say one-love-kinda-quality, but it's far from being ubercrap. If Electric Universe is ubercrap nowadays, what kind of negative attribute would be left for the real shite like "Last Men Standing" e.g? Btw. not all guitars in psy are bad, for example imo "the Calling", which features guitars as well as vocals, blew everyone away at one Electric Universe party I attended. Nobusan's "Bro Hymn" cover is very good, too. But well, in the end it all depends on taste...
