"Techno Drome" and "1,000,000 Years From Today" are both extremely strong tracks and imho, they are pretty unique as well. Fantastic production, combined with unique sounds, somehow minimalistic, yet highly psychedelic = love. The whole album took a while to grow, but after several listenings, I came to realize what a strong release "Amen" is.

Any E.V.P, RealityGrid or Archaic track. Tryambaka (e.g. Safi Baraka, Catastrofe), Osom, Penta. In short: too many to choose from.

VA - Protozoa (Sita Records)

That smells like Astral Projection -
What music are you listening to right now?

Oah suddenly I needed to listen to this classic. Man it's so awesome...how could I almost forget about it? Bas Molendyk - Just Married (1994) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F67_f91DNSE -
I'm not sure if this is the kind of music you're looking for, but I always thought of every Wildthings Records act to heavily emphasize rhythm, with lots of percussion and unmatched moody atmosphere, very, very psychedelic. E.V.P (Alex Diplock) and RealityGrid (Alex Diplock, used to be a duo with Leon Kane (Avalon), but Avalon is now solo at Nano Records), as well as Archaic and Error Corrective. Examples: RealityGrid - Holopod http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWDEbWHI6Vo E.V.P - Copy This http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnsQIZcyQs8 Saw E.V.P twice live and I've never seen a crowd so energized by the relentless heavy, yet psychedelic rhythms and sounds. Btw I like how he constantly moves and dances behind his stuff on the stage. Be sure to check out tracks by Error Corrective and Archaic, too. Another recommendation would be Penta, especially his "Horn Please" and "Portuguese Abduction" albums, with tracks like "Olympia", "Time Jump", "Here We Come" and "Andes"(!). You should be able to find all of them on youtube. But hey...maybe I completely missed your taste.

Good news! I liked what they said about their relationship. The new album is going to be something special! Give me those melodies only you can make!

That's my favorite comic strip in your sig. Awesome!

I was thinking the same...btw. where was the crowd?

Uh....way to go!

If I have to choose only one track, I would be Astral Projection - Kabalah http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROI1W3Lgqbs To me, it has always been an unearthly good track. Maybe it's the single one track that got me totally addicted to Goa/Psy.

Wrong section...good samples though! Looking forward to it. -
Oh, I almost forgot: Fever Ray - Keep The Streets Empty For Me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWFb5z3kUSQ

What about Khopat? e.g. "We Will Fly" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkWXvzo-9FA Or Sidharta? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tft5BT3Z4Tk Also, another recent release I like very much is Raz's "Recorded Dreams", which he announced here, too. http://razkfir.bandcamp.com/ Less twisted with focus on some nice melodies. I thinks it's very good. You can either download it as 320kbps mp3 or FLAC, even free of charge, and if you like to, you can donate money.

Woah. The Vangelis track is awesome! And it would have suited the movie very, very well. I like the Avalon Soundtrack by Kawai, too, but I think "Nine Sisters" off the same album is "sadder". Anyways...more sad music: Yamaoka Akira - Room Of Angel (Silent Hill 4 OST)...can't believe the amount of awesome in this song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSPHItRDKEc Deine Lakaien - Love Me To The End. Sad music from an other time in my life http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLq1HBtZLQU

Highko - Sonic Bombardment http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pO0KqvPuGMU Too bad that the quality of the video is not that good. Listen to this one in good quality and corresponding volume (loud) and it will move you out of your seat and do the Michael Flatley. While Dragon may not be "real" Darkpsy, I think you should take a listen, as Penta or Cybernetika wouldn't qualify as "true" darkpsy, too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgxGtM9glEE Damn, I'd love to have the first sounds as my doorbell sound.

Yah, glad you liked it. To make sure you listen to the "correct" tracks (the ones I had in mind when recommending the artists), I'll post a few here, starting with Samadhi's "Zero Gravity". Be sure to turn up the volume http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nCxHJYyo8g Again, I really like tracks with a distinct techy, cold and spacy atmosphere! Next up, -Z- (Alpha and Antagon), "Hungarian Folk Freak" from their 2009 album, REVO. To me, a lot - if not most - of darkpsy is not that appealing, as it often sounds like it is made without concept, proper track structure and building, just a bunch of noises layered over a hard, fast bassline. That's not the case with -Z-! http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEul3hy3ZpE Check out Antagon as solo artist as well.

Septagram - Power Cell http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXqmwUK9INY While not all of Septagram's stuff is that good, this one is such a killer track. Man, I seriously love it. The groove is so relentless, it constantly builds up energy, and from 5:00 onwards it's pure darkpsy perfection, at least imo. The sounds at the end of the track send chills down my spine everytime I listen to it. Other than that, what about the likes of Highko, Samadhi, Fungus Funk, -Z- (Alpha and Antagon), Dragon?

Love it! Thanks a lot.

I don't know why, but I have unbroken faith in them. That youtube video of some of their new stuff sounded pretty good, I liked the Robots stuff, and their 2009 remix version of Jarré's Oxygen 4 just proved, that they are beasts...their version was the best by far and it showed their unmatched skill at creating an awesome atmosphere. Also, I cannot think of any other act I want to see "live" again more than those two guys.

And the acid blood didn't kill you? OMG tough guy!
-
Man, that really sucks. It's like the Duke Nukem Forever of Psytrance.
-
Thanks, man. But to my ears, it sounds too repetitive and kinda stressful.

The man hasn't made a single mediocre movie, except maybe G.I. Jane. All his works were at least good, some of them even masterpieces. If he does another Alien movie, I am sure it will be excellent, because he won't spoil his reputation in that franchise.
