What music are you listening to right now?

the xox filters are damn close though the osc always sound different. The 303 oscs are just so shitty and perfect.... also finding the right distortion for 303 screetchy madness is tricky. Sort of wish I had some pedals for this, though wavefolders have provided me with some pretty decent results.

Well the drums and non-bitcrushed elements are mono for good considering they were running through my modular but the bitcrushed elements could be done. I still have the sequences saved on my Analog 4, issue is I was clocking off the yocto which might be a little tricky to get that exact tempo again considering there is no screen / bpm indicator.

yea this is basically the role of my comp at the moment. Though I occasionally use it for Max 4 Live stuff I program as well. @AP - software is good especially if you have a nice controller to assign parameters to. I mainly departed due to eye sight loss from too much screen time. It takes years to accumulate such a hardware collection.

Emergence and stratification I enter the studio. Breaking away from the stresses of the world, particularly my current job hunt. I was inspired by this tune: and some of disasterpiece's music(guy who did music for FEZ). Also noticed I hadn't used bit degradation for a while so I decided to look up some free software to do so. I wanted to use this drum pattern I programmed into my yocto with the alternating snare and clap. More sober than usual, maybe a couple beers in me and I've been off the cannabis for weeks. Programmed a nice sine sequence with 9 triggers per measure so the 16 step sequence shuffles one extra and doesn't start in the same location for several measures. Got most of it done in one evening and recorded it the following morning. Wasn't particularly thinking or feeling anything. Mainly just doodling with my toys and once in a while a nice little gem emerges.

indeed is. they are my xox bros... they also play nice with my elektron twins

TY for kind words sir. The drums are the yocto kit we've been chatting about in that other thread The elements with delay that don't have 8bit distortion are from my modular box. The 8bit distorted elements are all from the Elektron A4 running through a free bit degradation software by soundhack(Tom Erbe). Tom Erbe also co-created the reverb unit which the drums are running through aka Erbe-Verb. Song was pre-programmed and sequenced and recorded live with all changed done manually by myself

well considering the unique analogue circuitry it has its own flavor. No two analogue machine are perfectly alike. Plus it's badass. You can try to deny it but then you'll just be amusing me

http://www.e-licktronic.com/en/content/25-yocto-tr808-clone-tr-808 It is the yocto clone. They provide the pcb and some essential components, dimensions of the enclosure to custom order lazer cut acrylic case, and a BOM to order components from component distributors. A couple weeks of soldering and assembling and you have a tr808 that doesn't cost you $3000+

Also I built a Tr808 clone. Don't think I've mentioned that on this forum quite yet

Great. I've subjected myself to listening through this album several times w/o a look at artist names or track titles. Now that I can go back and check who did what this is my opinion. My top 3: E-mantra's remix, Nebula Meltdown, and .... a glorious breakout performance(imo) by Dragon twins. Mindsphere track is pretty solid too. Over all this album was really good, at least relative to the last VA. Everyone else did pretty good, which leads to my gripes. Crossing Mind still using same textures and starting to look like a one trick pony. Skizologic in general seems heavyhanded or perhaps just not my taste in general. My 2 cents

mac is pretty good for audio/photography stuff and other artsy things. -
pentagon is a heavy track. Overall tetrahedron is a great album would recommend it to any true goa fan.
