Perhaps some of these conflicts can be resolved by a study of the self, yourself. I believe good understanding of one's self does lead to a broader understanding of your surroundings. When it gets dark and the waters get opaque I always have a lingering feeling that one maybe close by. I love the water and swimming/diving but sharks scare the living shit out of me.
