I agree, their past couple compilations have been solid.

its filtered white noise (one of the filter might have an exponentially falling envelope) with a click at the beginning mixed together. Add compression and eq if needed. Some times mixing in some bit crushing and sample dividing could provide some more noisy timbres. -
cronomi, Zion604, suntrip of course

Its alright, perhaps it'll grow on me. But as it stand i'm not super impressed. I still have high hopes for the rest of the album

Finally! I've been waiting for someone to start a topic on this one 1. Wake Up And Smell The Ashes - Daimon This one doesn't really stick out to me. The half life quote is neat however I'm coming closer to the conclusion that Daimon or any of his other projects just aren't my cup of tea 2. These Talking Machines - K.O.B. Very neat atonal track, dark and mysterious, which deviates heavily from anything Jannis has done before. It took me a couple listens to appreciate this one for its truly unique. 3. Black Sun - Psychic Voyag This track has an oldschool sound. Still this isn't enough to strike my fancy. The song is quite anticlimactic and fails to hold intrest. 4. Viral Breath - Cosmic Dimension WOAH, here is some nice energy! Its nice to see some fresh acts on suntrip who know how to tickle my ears the right way. 5. Aramean Dreams - Khetzal If you're into Khetzal's sound which I happen to be, this song is for you. Interesting textures and progressions with non-cheese eastern melodies. After this release I really hope Ketzal decides to put out another album. *crosses fingers* 6. Emotional Overload - Javi and Sko0ma Well Done! What a pleasant surprise. Two fresh names and a sick collaboration. This song is my favorite from the whole album. It's intelligent progressions and suitable melodies make for a very psychedelic adventure. So strap in and enjoy! 7. Beyond Lightspeed (E-Mantra rmx) - Artifact 303 E-Mantra tends to be very hit and miss according to my taste (has something to do with the lack of grit and dissonance at times.) However, this is one of my favorite E-manta songs, hands down! He took a different approach from the original which doesn't seem to rely as much on the melodics. When he busts out that gritty sound at 5:18, everything comes together. This is my second favorite song on the album. 8. Naltayada - Skarma The song screams Astral Projection at me. He did a great job a recreating the old-school sound and it works. Nice track overall. 9. Depth Of Consciousness -Mindsphere I like Mindsphere's work however after listening to his prior stuff I hold higher expectations from his work. The song is ok but it doesn't standout to me from the album nor from his prior works. 10. Cosmic Fusion - Uth Another fresh face. I like this guys unique style! The track embarks one on a sonic journey through your mind and into the universe. This is my 3rd favorite track from the album. This is my new favorite va released on suntrip next to Temple of Chaos. Well done Suntrip, well done.

What are you doing when listening to Psychedelic Music ?
Panoptes replied to darkill's topic in General Psytrance
Smoking cannabis or playing video games. This combination makes games really intense. I also listen when I have to clean or do some other quiet activity in proximity to my monitors. -
someone broke into my car and stole my tetrahedron cd... was a sad day

I wasn't aware of the rerelease. He released two album, the self titled album, one of my favorite albums, and A Blue Print for Survival.

Look at the guy in the top right corner right before the main melody drops in. Sooooo funny -

I'm an unemployed student. I don't have many expectations only hopes and dreams. I want to be a sound designer for Bethesda softworks because of how close the HQ is to my home town. This way I could have a kick ass job and be close to my family. I wouldn't mind working in Europe, I'd prefer Europe over the U.S. any day (apart from the fact that the US has a lot better and more available Cannabis) I have a dual citizenship, polish and from the US; I speak polish fluently so I always have Poland or any English speaking country as an option.
