  1. the bass on 2 &3 are throwing me off. I'd move them to 3 and 4, or add a one on 4. Apart from that I like it.

  8. Its ok. I would introduce more sound textures, breaks, also a solid melody that cuts through the mix wouldn't hurt. Make it more psychedelic: try automating some resonance/sync/etc...
  9. i've never heard of him. Any notable tracks anyone would like to share ? how did he die?
  10. I dont mean to come off as arrogant. But I still think my advice is good. You worry to much about what synth made the sound rather than focusing on process behind achieving the sound you want with a versatile synthesizer. I'm sure you have one of those in your collection of vsti. You've made many topics like this but the truth is the best way to get these answers is through trial and error. my 2 cents
  11. learn how to synthesize and you'll be able to figure it out with asking.
  12. https://soundcloud.com/panoptes/energia-demo-1 What do you think ? I don't mind constructive criticism. ~P
  13. I don't have issues sleeping mainly because I'm a night owl and by the time I lay down I'm ready to sleep. a little thc in my system makes this process much faster
  14. I already expressed my opinion on this mater. Goa can't be played live thus you can't apply the same ramifications used for bands. As far as I'm concerned a live goa performance is live as long as the composer himself is there tweaking his sequenced project, perhaps even playing a part on a keyboard. Hitting play and letting iTunes or w.e. do its thing isn't live. Also you need to make a distinction between dj and the composer himself. Djs don't have a sequenced project, they have a wave file which imposes limitations on their ability to create a truly unique version of a track for the audience. One last thing. The poll was made terribly. Too many options plus they are all unclear.
  15. considering the fact that it's impossible to perform goa "live" we can't apply the same criteria used for bands to goa acts. There is a huge different between someone hitting play and creating a unique version of songs for the audience. It's up for debate wether or not you want to call this "live"
  16. I have a bunch. Ill post when I return from my trip through Vietnam. I have his whole discography
  17. I agree. You should be able to partake as long as you are not causing a ruckus.
  18. Some of these are great but it would be better if you included some better bpc tracks. Crystal doesn't compair to alidade, open sea, and arcadia. Also I prefer Gamma goblins pt1 over the second one. As you said its impossible to please everyone i guess. I chose chi-a.d.'s the flame of eternal life but he also has a track called the flame ,I don't remember which is which. One of those almost made me have a car accident. It really grabbed me by the balls.
  19. I have no way of knowing because goa trance is an unknown genre in the US. I've mentioned before that I've met 3-4 people who have even heard of the genre. We should change this!
