I have had similar experiences. I feel music differently when I'm in the zone. qi- gong is crazy, have you learned to control your chi at all?

Simple question. What is your substance of choice, and why? (quite a controversial subject to bring up on a psynew forum imo) The fact is each of us partakes and enjoys a variety of substances on a regular basis. Be it tea, coffee, sugar, cigarettes, alcohol, psilocybin mushrooms, and other such substances. Please refrain from posting your opinion on what is a substance and what isn't. Each of these alters your mind in one form or another (for better or worse). I personally enjoy tea and cannabis, they make me feel good and are natural. They are both quite healthy compared to anything else.

well done, i'd keep it going as well. The intro and it's build toward the climax is spot on so far. Keeping 4 minutes interesting throughout is hard but you're well on your way there!

I feel that the movie is just an excuse; and this anti american hatred has been pent up for a while and is just now starting to be released. Islamist radicals have a skewed perception of their situation. Its needless to say that bombing and raiding embassies won't improve their economic and literacy problems.

can anyone shed some light on tekno music?
Panoptes replied to Lemmiwinks's topic in Other Electronica
some of this stuff is cool, on the other hand some of the stuff posted in the thread sounds too much like hardstyle (which is shit) imo -
I have recently grown fond of Amon Tobin's work. He has evolved from a "sample only" artist into one who implements plenty of synthesis as well. Not to mention his mastery of granular synthesis and the stage he has been touring with the past two years or so. You can see a preview of his concert on his website and youtube. I saw Isam 1.0 but now he is back with 2.0 (bigger stage(i think), some different music, visuals, and so on) which I'm going to see on the 17th in philly www.Amontobin.com http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=fr-3dC9CuSo What do you guys think? My favorite tracks are: Stoney Street At the end of the day delpher Esther's Slowly(isam live mix) wooden toy

Behind the music - conceptualism in Goa trance
Panoptes replied to Richpa's topic in General Psytrance
couldn't have worded it better myself... -
What synth it is doesn't really matter (also I do understand that some synths have characteristic sound but this isn't the case imo) Instead of asking others to present you with all the answers on a silver platter, train your ears to recreate these sound you're posting(they aren't complex). Just get the waveform right to mimic the overtones of the bass then apply an appropriate filter with the correct attenuation slope, resonance, envelope. magic and you'll feel better when you're done knowing its all you.

I think you can go file>export>midi . This will export the midi track with all automatons bound to it(I think). When you mentioned "all the effects" were you talking about channel effects or softsynth parameter controls via midi? If its the second you have to open the softsynth and use the midi learn function to reassign the automation with the correct midi control channel.
