I love Shift, I love Slug, I love this release. 9/10
-
Timecode is psytrance, no techno.
-
Timecode Records. 'Nuff said.
-
I agree with you. I don't even bother to check new releases from the "full on-labels" anymore. Luckily there is other artists that has come to my liking.
-
Yes, I can. What the hell is technoid? I find the CD I pasted there to be really psychedelic. But what do I know?
-
I've heard both. They are terrible. Astrix album is just ordinary full on. Extremly boring. Check out this baby instead: click here
-
Ok I got. And I have no idea. Sorry.
-
Doesn't work here either "Forbidden You don't have permission to access /csuwbi/Gore/sample5.mp3 on this server."

I got my hands on this CD. 01 Zooboreal - Intodub 02 BotFB - Leprechaun War Dub 03 Dropout - Mushroom Groovers Easter 04 Death by Water - Those are Pearls 05 Zooboreal - Taunt your Life into the Universe 06 Zooboreal - Moon Kitten String 07 Skomm - The Adventures of Metatubb 08 Nocturnal - Sjögras 09 Zooboreal - Växtri 10 Gone Fishing - Dweamer 11 Silent Mind - The Art of Science Schlabbaduerst gone ambient. Can that be good? Hell yea! This is very very cool ambient for your mind to suck in. Schlabbaduerst still have their unique sound (as always) and this ambient is very, hmm, can I say trippy? Cool melodies, great atmosphere and a great potion of psychedelia. Just Wonderful. I'm to lazy to make a review of every single track so you just have to trust me on this one Highly recommended! Enjoy.

I think this is a terrible CD. Just one single artist managed to make a good remix and that is Deedrah. This is not even good full on imo. The guy who picked the artists to remix the tracks did an awful job. I've very pissed off at this shitty release. Astral deserves so much better. But you can always listen to the originals Dynamic's destruction of Dancing Galaxy is a punch in the face to all Astral fans out there (including me). Stay away from this one!
-
They certainly could. A remix cd of Astral's work deserves to be remixed by the best of artists, which I think it didn't. Not even close to good artists. Too bad.

As all of you know this discussion is pointless, but still quite fun How do you know how many times I listened to the album? I've listened atleast 10 times. Which seems to be your now-you-know-if-an-album-is-good-barrier. And I still think its pure crap. I very much respect their talent, you can clearly hear that in the album at some parts. But the way they present it is just awful. Let me not even get started on the lyrics. Actually, there is only one group that has caught my attentention with lyrics, and that is Queen. Anyway...I don't agree with much you said. Plastic is not good, nor is cheesy and "fluffy" either And about they being nice and give autographs doesn't really do it for me. I would rather have them be inpolite and releasing awesome music than having them sign CV and Supervisor discs Sometimes I wish they had stopped making music after Classical so I didn't need to get dissapointed every time they release an album, which I have sadly have. I think its time for them to stop making psytrance (or whatever you call it) and release an ambient/chillout album (plz no freestyle either . Anyway...It's about tastes. Now I'll go listen to any of the Timecode Records releases. That is good music! :-) Solong!

2: Infected Mushroom - Elation Station (Beat Hackers Remix) 3: Infected Mushroom - Dancing With Kadafi

I don't like that CD. They should have chosen more "unique" (better?) artists to remix the tracks imo. Now it sounds like regular full-on. And all tracks does that, except a few. But some might think that is good This is how I would have chosen the artists: Let The Be Light (Logic Bomb) Visions of Nasca (Bamboo Forest) Dancing Galaxy (Alternate Vision) Liquid Sun (Vibrasphere) Nilaya (Psysex) Aurora Borealis (Deedrah) Mahadeva (Scorb) People Can Fly (Hallucinogen) Chaos (Broken Toy) Power Gen (Wizzy Noise)
-
I think so too. They lost some "real" psytrance fans but got 6547216567 more "16 year old" fans. I guess that was a good deal for them. It's sad too lose one of the biggest talents out there to the commercial industry. he he

Bluetech - Elementary Particles & Prima Materia
Insejn replied to Aleph Zero's topic in General Psytrance
I just listened to 'Elementary Particles' and holy shit I was blown away So beautiful music. More plz! :-) -
hahaha overdose 2/10 being generous? Maybe, but the last track isn't THAT bad imo
-
It's not awesome in any way imo. It's cheesy, slow and it sound plastic. But I admit that in some parts they do some really good shit. They are full of ideas. I just don't like they way they make them I didn't expect them to make a CV Trance clone but wtf I thought the CV style maybe was a joke but they really went that way. IM is no more to me.
-
Yep, thats true. I'm listening on the album right now. And yes, I downloaded it Didn't want to blow away my money like I did on CV. Ok, here is the review: It's like CV Trance Side 2/10 Take Care!
