Gms - The Remixes Artist: Gms Title: The Remixes Label: Spun Date: 2003 Track listing: 01. Soundaholix : Lsd Story (Duvdev Rmx) 02. Gms : I'M On Mars (Antidote Rmx) 03. Gms And Cyrus The Virus : William Wallace (Alternate Vision Rmx) 04. Hallucinogen : Gamma Goblins (Gms Rmx) 05. Spectral : Kundalini (Gms Rmx) 06. Gms And Alien Project : Hyperactive (Earthling And Bushman Rmx) 07. Gms : Spook (Wizzy Noise Rmx) 08. 1200 Micrograms : Ecstasy (Dado Rmx) 09. Soundaholix : Psychedelic Circus (Astrix Rmx) 10. Gms : Juice (Live Mix) Review: Another release that contains the letters G, M and S in its name. Atleast this one is made of other artist remixing GMS-tracks and not vice versa (spelling?). Altho there is three GMS-tracks but we can live with that i think. But anyway...There are some really good tracks on this one. Like the Antidote Rmx, Wizzy Noise and Alternate Vision remix which is the best track i've heard in a long time. And there is some so so tracks also. The Astrix remix is bad and tends to be a bit too cheesy. But all tracks follow the modern full on sound in one way or another. So if you are bored with it i think this is not for you. Final Verdict: 6/10

V/A - Therapy Artist: Various Title: Therapy Label: Dragonfly Date: 2003 Track listing: 01. Ronan And Purple : Hold On 02. 12 Moons : Thunderbolt 03. Vibrasphere : Funk The Trunk 04. Zen Lemonade : Pussy Galore 05. Bamboo Forest : Vision 06. Tikal : Clone 07. Green Oms : Jack In Box 08. Aphid Moon : Space Ghost 09. Transparent : Transformer Review: If you watch the tracklist you'll see that this is a pretty calm compilation. I don't mean chillout or something. You know what I mean. It contains grooves and very settle bases(?) which makes it funky. No stress sounds what so ever. This is perfect when you don't wanna think to much and just relax. Altho, in the middle the tracks get faster and noiser, prolly to make you stay awake. Progressive mania through the entire CD. Even I like it and I'm not a big fan of progressive trance. Zen Lemonade does a great job. I really like that track. Bamboo does what the alwasy do and deliver an typical Bamboo track, i wonder why Anyway...I got suprised buy this one. It has a certain feeling to it and all the tracks fits perfectly on the same CD. Final Verdict: 7/10

I've heard it. And since i don't like Ticons sound I don't like the album. I think you can compare it to previous Ticon releases. Yea, you can. I like the funky/slow tracks tho.

V/A - Backroom Beats 2 Artist: Various Title: Backroom Beats 2 Label: Beackroom Beats Date: 2003 Track listing: 01. The Egg : Lost At Sea (Vocal Mix) 02. Contraband : Humanise 03. Contraband : Brasil 04. Tristan : Sapphire Eyes 05. Esion Jim : Halycon Daze 06. Esion Jim : Never Ending 07. Highpersonic Whomen : Easy Does It 08. Gaudi : Chaine A Chaine 09. Ott : Joyful Wonder 10. Gargoyles : Spacebaby (Seiberg And Witten Mix) 11. Hierophant : Need To Know (Bushmen Freefall Mix) Review: Holy shit man. This is soothing for body and soul. So damn good loung/chillout/ambient or whatever it's called that I dont know what to do. Very cool melodies. Better than the first backroom beats. Its so funky, jazzu and groovy. Love it. Ofcourse there are tracks that could be better. Hmmm...No there isn't Well ok...number 7 isnt that good. And when is albums with Contraband, Gargoyles and Hierophant (which are highlights) coming out? I want em bad. Enough bs here comes the verdict. Final Verdict: 9/10

Zorba - Zorba Artist: Zorba Title: Zorba Label: Shaffel Date: 2003 Track listing: 01. In Tune 02. Fragile 03. No Copys 04. Unlikeanything We Know 05. Deep 06. Zorbarag 07. Hyper Zorba 08. Day Dream 09. In And Out 10. Datora Review: Cheesy? No? Well...I think a little. This is kinda cool soft psytrance. Well built melodies and good moringsounds. If you are in a somewhat cheesy mood this is it. And I must say that the melodie in track #3 is very good! Maybe they could have made the basslines darker. It gets better that way imo. Just like in track #7. Anyway...this is wellstructed moringtrance. Final Verdict: 6/10 if in the right mood 8/10

This isn't so great. Psytrance-wise I mean. Only 2 good fullon tracks here (Albibeno and Apogiffa). Chaplin I say is very very very bad. Among the shittest tracks they made. The rest is, totally unintersting. But The Other Side is kinda cool. I expected it to be very experimental so I wasn't very chocked. A little tip for Infected; Next time, put some effort in your tracks. The trance side sounds as it been made over one night. Shame on you. Nice try tho Final Verdict: Trance Side 5/10 | Other Side 7/10

V/A - Psycho Laboratory Artist: Various Title: Psycho Laboratory Label: Mechanik Sound Date: 2003 Track listing: 01. Hyper Frequencies : Erotica 7 02. Xenomorph : Bizarre Temporary Dissociation 03. Neuromotor : Valentino Walkes On The Moon 04. Skazi And Exaile : Rambatsamba 05. Beat On Phopia : Alacranafobic 06. Lotus Omega : Phonix 07. Central Processing Unit : Crapule Continuum 08. Parasence : 3to Kpyto 09. Talamasca : The Thc Philosophy Review: woho! Dark and GREAT tracks. Very great tracks. These tracks are so strong and powerful. Except one track, Skaze And Exaile, which is just ridiculous compared to the others. This comp gets so good at high volumes. Like a monster on rampage This is one of the best comps for a long while. The tracks are so "full" if you know what i mean, nothing lacks and it's isnt too much either. Just perfect. Except track #4 which is just ridiculous Final Verdict: 8.2/10
