I found some power-electronics and other similar stuff on that labels... well, I'm not too familiar with this and I like some more subtle and less shouting music - is it more ebm harder style? Oh, just reminded this: Hofuku Sochi - Min Tek [ Popup Records / 2005 ] High quality glitch/ambient with random sounds, clicks, crystal clear voices a-la airport announcements.

Draft 7.30 was probably the last album I heard before acknowledging that the whole electronic scene is in depression. Haven't heard Untilted though...

Monolake - Polygon_Cities

So... the year has past and what I listened to was Monolake, a really good album, didn't expect it to be that good... and that's it Maybe new BoC too... but it was crappy. Before I started doing lots of drugs and moved to goa scene, I was seriously into idm/experimental music, but now I'm so far from it, but would like to catch up I know there are many guys here listening to different stuff and I want to ask them to do review of experimental/idm/ambient released this year. Just give a short list of what is worth checking out.

Androcell brings us his his second artist album, the second released @ Celestial Dragon (Sonic Dragon's ambient sublabel). Zenon is ready to release their second artist album, this time it's Cujorius One that appeared at the labels latest compilation called Intelligent Manipulation. Personally, I liked that track so I'm looking forward to the album. At least it's Zenon and you can expect only quality stuff from them. The only problem for me is the cover - it looks strange. Me too. I dont like listening to this stuff at home, so I did listen to it like 2 or 3 times... unless you live in the forest you could enjoy it On the other hand it's one of the few albums I want to hear at an open-air in the forest Listen to the previews carefully.

Interesting. The questing goes: Fuck distributers - they turn out to be the real robbers. I live in Ukraine, most people can't afford 12+ Euro CDs and they didn't even EVER touch the original and they won't for the next 1-2 years. It's a country with 48 million population (5th biggest in Europe?). But now I see more young guys buying more music especially after all the threads at our forums bashing mp3. So the tendency is clear... life standarts after so called 'orange revolution' are getting higher and in 1-2 years time... We have got a developing scene, if it will be evolving in Russian way (10 000 people at Skazi concert and million posters at St. Petersburg and Moscow, I mean so many people involved) we will have many many 'buyers'. I have also heard that Japanese distributors sell so many CDs out there that everyone is willing to sign a deal with them (true?). So... what if I start an internet shop selling CDs for Ukraine (maybe Russia too since they sell mp3 only at psyshop.ru ). I could work with labels directly. The price of 7-8 Euro could be very OK for an original, I mean they would buy it. Do you think this is a good idea and labels would go for this (lower the price for their cds and more would be sold instead). I will count what investments should be made and if any profit will come out of this.

Who cares for this except teenagers organized in fan-clubs?
