Artist: Ascent & Argus Title: Four Oak Trees EP Label: Ovnimoon Records Date: May, 2013 1. Memories 2. Four Oak Trees 3. Over Mountain 4. Fairy Tale 5. Deep In Forest 6. Rising Sun "Where am I, what is this place?" Paradise my brother. Now get back to work, I hired you to clean the pool not lounge in it! These two brothers have produced some smooth music in previous efforts like The Perfect Element EP and their album Beyond Sight. This 6-track ep sees them up to their old tricks dropping some highly emotional downtempo gems. Haunting melodies abound and an atmosphere that floats from tribal to goa. Never in a hurry they use long breaks that help tell the story employing foreign tongues and exotic whispers. Favorite? Feel the heat as the sun bakes the sands in the lush downtempo goa track Rising Sun. If you love lush, melodic chill with an Asian vibe then do not hesitate to buy this. Ovnimoon Bandcamp Psyshop

Artist: Art of Trance Title: Wildlife On One Label: Platipus Date: November, 1996 1. Kaleidoscope 2. Mosquito 3. Gloria (Transparent Mix) 4. Haagen Daaz 5. Octopus (Original Mix) 6. Golden Rain 7. Deeper Than Deep 8. Blue Owl 9. Cambodia (Tunnel Vision Mix) 10. Emerald Eyes I might get a little hate on this one. It's ok...my son knows karate. Well, he takes karate and can't tie his own belt, but...you know. But this was boring as hell. Thought I was being punished. It's early trance, but I get the same cringeworthy feeling when I listen to early Frontline Assembly. You cannot relax to it, it's not goa or psychedelic, and it doesn't put me in any form of "trance." I understand it is now 20 years old, but Hotel California is even older and that didn't suck. So taking the age of it out of the equation what is its appeal? Hearing the original Octopus (which was owned by the MWNN mix) was nice, but the rest sounded like electronic hammering. Perhaps this has nostalgic value. Reminds a lot of people of great parties or events. Maybe you had your first kiss or you lost your virginity to this album. None of this happened to me so that ain't gonna get me to like it. I am someone that can appreciate music regardless of the genre. Psychedelic, goa, rap (old stuff, new rap sucks), nu-metal (is it even new any more), pop (although that's getting harder and harder). But this does nothing for me.

Artist: Lifeforms Title: Mind Experience EP Label: Iono Music Date: August, 2014 1. Mind Experience 2. This Way Up "You are not having an out of body experience. You are having an out of mind experience." Tell me about it. Life is pretty hard. What's that? Oh that was the children of Syria telling me to go f*ck myself. Touche. Still, trying to make my way through the tsunami of music in my possession is a mountainous task. I'll get there, but like a 75 year old Asian lady in the fast lane it's taking much longer than I would like. I've reviewed some stuff from this duo before (Charlie Molden from the UK and Maor Tsemah from Israel) and they are holding it down in a very Ovnimoon sort of way. It's psytrance with some progressive and goa touches. This Way Up has more than a goa touch actually with it's searing hot leads and E-mantra-esque flotation device. I really like this partnership as they deliver on atmosphere, power, and some bouncy melodies. Recommended. Iono Bandcamp Psyshop

Artist: Nervasystem Title: Early Daze Label: Self Released Date: March, 2013 1. Matter Transfer 2. Zones 3. Terraform 4. Liquid Lifeform 5. Initiation 6. Kinetic Space Dilation 7. Venusian Illusion 8. Decoder 9. Stardust "Seen from out here...everything seems different." There he is! I found fat Waldo! Unless you've been held captive in a Yemeni prison for the last few years you heard and hopefully purchased Mark Dressler's return to the scene Time Travel. Awesome album that is so highly recommended that it was with renewed interest I decided to check out his Early Daze. It's a digital only release comprised of tracks he released back in the day on labels like Matsui, Psychic Deli, and Phantasm before that label descended into a meteoric pile of sh*t. Now if you were to peek at my early days I'm sure it is filled with moments that are not ready for prime time. Yeah I had a bowl cut. And I had feathered hair as a teenager. Gimme a break it was the 80's. Some f*cked up sh*t went on back then. Anyway all the tracks here were released on compilations or his own EP's so slow your roll we didn't discover any hidden gold. Well, I'd never heard Kinetic Space Dilation before and I don't believe that one was released anywhere. I haven't heard his latest stuff (3 or 4) so I cannot compare this album to those. But I have heard and loved Time Travel. And this isn't that far off from Time Travel. I think this release is for Mark's fans (I am one) and those who want to support the artist. As I mentioned almost all have been released on his ep's and comps which I'm certain you freaks already have. The sound is unmistakably goa with screeching leads and bubbly sounds (Terraform, Liquid Lifeform) attaining high levels of psychedelia. Initiation rages with whiplashes of fire and Decoder has that post golden era goa sound laced with psychedelic sounds. If there are any weak moments perhaps you could include the overly long and steady Zones, but most of the tracks bring psychedelic goa right up front. Nice one. Nervasystem Bandcamp

Artist: Talpa Title: La La La EP Label: TesseracT Studio Date: October, 2014 1. Dark Days 2. La La La Goran was pretty busy in 2014 with 5 released EPs which continued his mixing of Talpa and Riddler styles. Eerie melodies, groovy beats, haunting piano...all staples of his music. I suppose he could've combined all the EP's into an album, but who am I to tell him what to do. Have you seen him on Facebook? He scares me. But his music continues to move me. The only constant is the change the tracks undergo. Some nice stuff. Beatport

This along with his latest CD are some of the most remarkable downtempo and upbeat trance I've heard. Such passionate and emotionally stirring music. Truly a soundtrack replete with lust atmosphere. I hope he still produces music. This is the E-mantra of the downtempo genre.

Artist: G-light Title: The Final Element Label: Deja Vu Records Date: November, 2003 1. Deja Vu 2. Skyline 3. Dance of The Morning Sun 4. Pitch Black 5. Positive Motion 6. Final Element (Rmx) 7. Circles 8. Planet 604 9. Storm This was one of the first psytrance CD's I purchased way back when so the nostalgia value was fairly high for me. Until I listened to it again. I don't recall it being this...mediocre. Context is important and when this came out in 2003 full-on was a new genre, an explosion of power from the subdued tones and atmospheres of minimal. 13 years on however that power is like dial up compared with broadband. Smartphones vs. my old candy bar Nokia. His breaks are still nice, but the compositions feel like they are lacking. The album no longer holds up (no matter how many lasers he puts in there). Even the photoshopped cover is dated. As much as it pains me to say it (it really doesn't pain me) this album shall merely be a footnote in psytrance history.

Artist: Frozen Ghost Title: Just One Bite Label: Afrogalactic Records Date: 2006 1. Low Life Loser 2. Mushroom Mayhem v2.0 3. Bonestorm 4. Just One Bite 5. Incredible Legends 6. Fool Moon Remix 7. Elephant Safari 8. Good For Nothing 9. S.W.O.R.N. - Sole Survivor (Frozen Ghost Remix) "A little LSD is all I need" Everyone knows who these guys are. RIP MCA. Their debut came out in 87 (before you guys were even a dirty thought) and man was it massive. Three white kids from Brooklyn rapping? Madness! Might as well have told the world we'd have a black president. White people back then did hair metal not hip-hop. Anyway after the huge success of License To Ill their 2nd album Paul's Boutique came out to much fanfare, but fell a little flat. Or so we thought. Turns out it was a true classic. We just weren't ready yet. So many samples, you couldn't make that album today. But it was awesome and the world seemed to appreciate it only after time had passed. So here's Barry Wynne with his first album and I initially passed on it. Thought it was just noise. But like dem Beasties I eventually came around. This is good time, shake your ass music. It's chock full of samples that never stray into cheese territory. The music undergoes many changes keeping it fresh. As a Simpsons fanatic my favorite track is Bonestorm with its plethora of Simpson samples and twerk inducing rhythm. But there is so much to dig into here all while dancing like crazy. Those bass lines are like MJ's moonwalk and the music undergoes so many mutations with well placed samples and huge amounts of dynamism. Funky stuff that is deep and entertaining. Pick it up. Psyshop

Artist: Shamanic Tribes On Acid Title: Acid Apocalypse Label: Kinetix Recordings Date: 1997 1. Acid Medusa 2. Exploding Psychedelic Rainbow 3. Fulfil Your Destiny 4. Aliens Love To Talk 5. The Mad Hatters Acid Tea Party 6. Omnifarious Splifferous 7. Drugged To The Eyeballs 8. Bass Ritual 9. Extraterrestrial Lover 10. Apache Trance 11. No Armageddon Noisy. Repetitive. Destructive. This isn't an album it's a f*cking toddler. I reviewed The Mad Hatters Acid Tea Party and Future World and came to the conclusion that they were both really sh*tty albums. Add this to those and you have a perfect storm of annoyance. Musically this is just a earache generating disaster. The production is flimsy and you'll find more soothing melodies at a Slayer concert. This isn't music that you play to enjoy. This is music you play to get terrorists to submit. Or the soundtrack to revenge porn against your girlfriend. Hard trance, acid, goa...it all falls under the same headache umbrella. Does this album come with a Salma Hayek and Sofia Vergara handy? Cause it's the only way you'll get me to listen to it again.

Artist: Various Title: The Dark Side of the Groove Label: Nutek Records Date: April, 2007 1. Bio-Genesis - Hemisphere 2. Mad Netic - Transmission 3. Painkiller - Speed of Light 4. CPU & Sirius Isness - Brain Chemistry 5. Bliss - Redemption Bong 6. Mekkanikka - Zowanagor 7. Azax Syndrom - Existence 8. Menog - Never Again Vision 9. Painkiller Vs. Mekkanikka - Time Is Now 10. Atomic Pulse - Strike Twice No. No. Hell no. As far as I'm concerned Nutek is everything that is wrong with psytrance. They're the frat boy with the popped collar, hat to the side, Abercrombie & Fitch uniform that thinks you yearn to be like him. But I see through your douchebag facade "Brad". They compile music under the pretense that it is dark and involved when it is the same stop and start nonsense that has infected the scene. Puddle deep and sample heavy this is a manual on what not to do. I would insist an apology from the artists, but I understand they got bills to pay and a label like Nutek follows these guys like stressed out dog walker picking up whatever they sh*t out. Insipid titles with build-ups and full on bass lines topped off with tired leads. There was zero groove to be found here and the only part of me that received a workout was my fast forwarding finger. I'm the last guy to claim any moral superiority, but if this is your definition of quality psytrance then we cannot be friends. Just to be safe, stay out of crosswalks also. Psyshop

Artist: Digicult Title: Soul Samadhi Label: Dacru Records Date: February, 2015 1. Digicult Vs. U-Recken - Sundara 2. Soul Samadhi 3. Jaia - Mai Mai (Digicult Vs. U-Recken Rmx) 4. Digicult Vs. Tropical Bleyage - Aradhana 5. Man With No Name - Evolution (Digicult Rmx) 6. Digicult - Star Travel (Talamasca Rmx) 7. Lost In A Mental Universe 8. Digicult - Red Planet (Spirit Architect Rmx) 9. Digicult Vs. U-Recken - Into The Heartland (Astral Projection Rmx) Digicult is a project that has always flirted with goa trance and sometimes outright produced it. I suppose you would have to label him a "full-on" act, but without all the cheese and simplicity that usually rides shotgun. Loved his albums Lucid Nation and Out of This World. With this his fourth album he remixes two goa classics and perpetual missing people Astral Projection remix one of his own tracks. Now usually when an artist from the full-on genre attempts to remix goa standards images of the album we shall not name pop up and we begin to behave like a poison victim. Now I'm not gonna blow smoke up your ass. It's not healthy for either of us and that would entail me getting closer to your ass than is comfortable. The cliche's are here from auto-tune to the triplet bass lines. This is pop-full on and he could probably parlay this into a Vegas residency. Sundara encapsulated all that is wrong with full-on and all that could be right. What sets Digicult apart from the vast majority of full-on artists however is his attention to detail. An example of this is the track Aradhana which gives a wink and a nod in the goa direction. Another good one was Lost In A Mental Universe where he does his best Electric Universe impression. Plenty of artists bombard you with melodies, but he adds atmosphere and more things to grab a hold of. Makes it a lot more bearable. But you don't help your cause when you let Talamasca anywhere near your music. What I heard with that track was equal part Eskimo's Popcorn and Jean Michel Jarre's Oxygene which of course added up to get the f*ck outta here. Still like I said it's a pop full-on album that doesn't distinguish itself from the huge pile we already have. He seems to have given up and just decided if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Got bills to pay homie and these frat boys love it when the beat drops! Oh well I hope he at least is scoring some quality groupie love. Besides I was really only interested in the goa remixes. And unfortunately it reaffirmed my belief that he should just leave it alone. There's a reason we haven't seen a recreation of the Mona Lisa with nothing but finger clippings and dandruff. You just know it would be terrible. And disgusting. The Astral remix is quintessential Astral with their signature sound and they continue to do just enough to keep you on the line hoping for a new goa album that will most likely never come. So in closing I will say that this is not an essential piece of music (I know you're shocked) and not even essential for the Digicult collection. You can tell he still has the talent and ability to make deep, meaningful tracks, but with this he has dipped a little too close to the euphoric Paul Van Dyk cheesiness. And I'm too old to put my hands in the air and wave them around like I just don't care. Here's to hoping that with his next album he just says f*ck it and makes the brilliant goa album I know he is capable of. C'mon dude...you know you wanna. Psyshop Beatspace

Chromatone + Rob-Ot + Psytony - Green Power House I assume this was what it looked like when Chromatone went into the studio to make his debut album. Uh, minus the methadone clinic, but I dunno, I wasn't there. That's a lot of clowns on heroin. I have an idea...how about making your own f*cking album? As the Beatles said it's ok to get by with a little help from your friends, but at some point momma's gotta push your ass out of the nest. With all these clowns at what point does it stop being an album and become a compilation? Why not just form a collective and call it The Sh*tty Full-On Nebula? So Chromatone is Lawrence Hoffman from my side of the pond and he apparently put out a Craigslist ad for studio help. Ever heard of too many cooks spoil the broth? Well they did. They peed in it. I've liked stuff from this guy, but the problem is that it's too much of the same thing. Acid-laden high tempo stuff is great, but the track structure is too linear. Not enough nuance. Strengthen The Strange harkens back to a time when the night-time full on ripped. On its face it's a good album of night time full-on, but some variety would've been greatly appreciated. I suppose if you were in need of a full-on fix you could get it pretty cheaply on Discogs.
-
"Do you think something could be wrong?" Of course I do. You made a disappointing 2-disc compilation. Let's start with that. This is B team goa trance for the most part. Not terrible, but certainly not worth inflated Discogs prices. As mentioned some good tracks and some real head scratchers. Don't eat bad mushrooms. Words to live by.

Artist: Nostromosis Title: Battle Times Label: Timewarp Records Date: April, 2015 1) The Gods Descended From Heaven 2) VlaMen 3) Kali-Yuga 4) Nuclear Apocalypse 5) Space Tribe Of Siberia 6) Revival 7) Voyager 8) JeVo Ugh. That cover. I realize the artist chooses their cover, but perhaps some stronger nudging in a different direction was in order? So conflicted on this one. I see boobs so I already want to like it. The fact that she's blue is irrelevant because we as a people should celebrate our differences, but mostly she's got tits. If making it with an alien of a different color is good enough for William Shatner it's good enough for me. Sure the multiple appendages seems intimidating, but think of what she could do with those multiple appendages. Only when you look closely do you realize she may just as easily dismember and eat you as soon as mate with you. Well, damn...now my penis is afraid and I don't know what to think. Nostromosis is Russian Igor Sidorov and I haven't been impressed with any of his previous work. Sorry. It happens. I know it makes me unAmerican, but I feel the same way about Bob Dylan and Springsteen. Never liked them. Thing is his tracks aren't bad per se, but they leave me unfulfilled. He's the Chinese food of goa trance. Whether it's his sound choice, consistently galloping bass line, or affinity for key changes his music sounds like it's a level below the really great artists. Having said that this is his best work to date in my opinion. He still embraces the key change thing unfortunately, but the sound is layered well and expertly produced. It's goa through and through with a trancey vibe. Which is in direct contrast to that threatening cover. Right now there are hundreds of darkpsy artists crumbling up artwork and having to begin anew. And speaking of that, this music is threatening the same way suburban white kids are gangsters. It's hard to be mean mugging and violent when you have yearbook after school. Revival has an edge to it building tension right from the outset, but even tat track can't maintain it's stance and loses steam. For me the music is too soft and lacks punch. Nuclear Apocalypse sounds less like the brink of armageddon and more like a pillow fight. Not bad and the potential is there, but right now I feel he's got a ways to go. Beatspace Psyshop Download

Artist: Various (though it's really Filipe Santos and Christina which I believe to be his wife) Title: Amaterasu Label: Submoon Records Date: May, 2015 1. Gankyil - Temujin 2. Amen Re - Resyche 3. Jonni Dongju - Li-on Sahvanne 4. Shousan - Shousan 5. Tanzaku - Tanabata 6. Mana Source - Samurai 7. Uchiwa - Godai 8. Gankyil - Dhyani C'mon, are these even real people? Jonni Dongju? Someone was balls deep in some quality porn viewing. You know at this point I couldn't care less. Unless you've lived under a rock Submoon Records is the new baby of Filipe Santos and these tracks sit squarely in his wheelhouse. Big beats with layers of goa melody trickling over each other vying for attention. And damnit I love it. It's excellent. Standout moment? On Li-On Savanne where he's channeling his inner Bypass Unit and that bubbling 303 creates a magical feeling. Almost reached for a cigarette. People are going to be in two camps when it comes to Filipe and his endless projects. Either they hate him and won't give his music the time of day due to past...ugliness or they'll take the music at face value and have a great f*cking time. I chose the latter (probably because he has never directed his rage in my direction). His talent cannot be questioned when it comes to making goa trance. This "compilation" is full of fast paced energetic goa trance. Melodies swirl and force the listener into involuntary twirling. There's no suspense or build up. He knows one way and one way only here and he attempts to cram it down your throat. And by God you will reach Goa Nirvana! There is a lot of drama surrounding Mr. Santos, but that is not my concern. If you hate the guy then you probably aren't reading this anyway. My job as a reviewer is to listen to the music and give my opinion. It's up to the reader whether they want to fork over their hard earned cash for these tunes. Musically this is an excellent addition any goa collection. Yes it's a CD-r, but so was Goa Gate and have you seen how much people wanted to shake you down for that? Not gonna be me son. Submoon Bandcamp

Look I realize that whoever Lara was that English was probably her second or third (very jealous here) language, but it was a little tough to make it through that. Let's be clear. The latest release from Omegahertz (Dimitrios Pouranis) Stax (review by yours truly) for me is the pinnacle of his catalog. This was his debut which is approaching 7 years old and like our friend above says it's a whole bunch of meh. Average in pretty much every measurable way. A time black hole if you will. This debut will not leave an indelible mark on the long history of psytrance. More like a stripe among many other stripes on the psychedelic highway. With the tongue twisting Anamorfoplasis we are miles away from the psychedelic and sizzling Stax. The bass lines are full on to the core and any nod towards goa trance is purely coincidental. Nothing here to challenge the mind and to be honest my finger was hovering over the skip button for most of the album. At times it had that Greek sound yet there wasn't a lot of meat on the bone and by the time I finally got through it I was annoyed. So I can recommend this for completionists and immediate family members. But don't try to push this crap on your cousins. They know secrets. Psyshop

Well relax I got this. Your boy has done it again. Romanian sound shaman and mysterious Facebook presence Emmanuel Carpus further cements his legacy with his 2nd downtempo release on Altar Records. The melodies are smooth and heaven sent, arriving in his signature style. What sticks out to me is his use of percussion which is sharp as a tack. Varied and deliciously effective. This album is loaded with smooth grooves that will induce involuntary head bouncing. The sounds themselves are beautiful while the layers tumble in continuous waves. The bass also has a constant presence preserving that relaxing, dub feel. If the psytrance, goa, or downtempo community printed money this guy's face should be on it. Highly recommended and an absolute must for your collection. Altar Bandcamp Psyshop

Artist: JIS (Journey Into Sound) Title: Transdimensional Vision EP Label: Neogoa Date: October, 2015 1. Up There 2. Solar Wind 3. Transdimensional Vision 4. Final Harmony "My God...it's full of stars!" Actually that's a concussion...in A minor I think. JIS is Czellar Gabor an underrated goa producer from the imaginary land of Hungary. Did you catch his debut album Illusions of Reality? If the answer to that question is no then you have some catching up to do. Here, let me help you. I compared his sound to Blue Planet Corporation and I stand by that. He crafts that light melodic goa trance which captivates with its depth. Thanks to the kind folks at Neogoa he presents an EP to continue this trend. Drifting melodies with an undercurrent of liquid goa are on full display as sounds ping off the hull of the spacecraft. His tracks have seamless transitions as old melodies melt into new ones with an atmosphere that is fully cosmic. Trancey, light goa that shouldn't fail to please. Good stuff! Free at Ektoplazm

Artist: Kunai Title: Ascendancy Label: Submoon Records Date: August, 2015 1. Himalayas 2. Mandarin 3. Origami 4. Mahjong 5. Ascendancy 6. Wushu 7. Tranquility Another Filipe Santos project? You betcha! I've lost count of how many he has, but this is his first release under the name of Kunai. And he does something that I hoped he would and that is deliver a different style of goa. This CD-r has tracks that exhibit a more laid back feel. Pumping up tempo, yet not aggressive. The sound is good and instead of pounding you into submission it's a gentler "lengthening" of melodies that still retains that sense of depth and exotic atmosphere. Not a lot of changes and not a lot of melodies thrown into the mix, but a gradual unfolding. The difference in the style here is instantly appreciated and while I love his signature sound he navigates this other approach with skill. Recommended for those that would like their goa with a relaxed flair. Love that cover btw...

Artist: Amithaba Buddha Title: Angels Trumpets Label: Submoon Records Date: September, 2015 1. Angels Trumpets (Discipline Mix) 2. Ten Thousand Buddhas 3. Manuscript (Free Spirit Mix) 4. Celestine Rhythm (Book of Job Mix) 5. Angels Walk Among Us (Forest Mix) 6. Electric Indigo 7. Stay Wild Moon Child How do you do this again? It's been a while. Funny I just mentioned to Ivan that I've taken a break from psy music and here I am cobbling a review together. You know life happens and it can be hard to find the time to craft a review. The artists definitely deserve it, but the struggle is real people. Perhaps I've written so many of them and there is nothing left to say. To me it's just album art and kick drums at this point. This is the latest album from polarizing artist Filipe Santos and he has a definite style that is instantly recognizable. High tempo, layer intensive, melodic, danceable music. With this being the third under the moniker Amithaba Buddha I can't say it sounds any different than Goa Gate or Myself In The Mirror. But that's because after all these years of listening to goa it has begun to run together for me. Not just his, but all goa music. Look he has a formula and he follows it to a tee. The music (as always) is great, but after you get through the up and down with the scales and the head nodding rhythms what else is there? And to say that the 7 tracks bear a very strong resemblance to each other is like figuring out water is wet. Don't get me wrong, as a collector and fan of goa music I'm glad I bought this and will recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Filipe's style. But...blah, blah, blah...Goa Gate II...super talented and prolific... Perhaps I've reached burnout stage, but I think a revolution is in order. Submoon Bandcamp

Dewdrop 10. Yoohoo (l.u.) 11. Equilibria Etheria This is smoother than that guy. Beautiful soundscapes on a grand scale with ethereal pads, gentle accompanying sounds, and rich layers. What happened to these guys? This Greek duo released this one album and then disappeared. Did they retire to the wine country and live off the brilliance of their one album? It's mellow and relaxing with nature sounds, dubby bass at times, as well as entrancing feminine wailing. I'd call it singing, but I didn't hear any words. At times cinematic like the opening Chronos and other times quirky and glitchy sounding like Subculture. Value of Life sounds like Bladerunner after a bag of weed while Vibraless invites the listener to smile. Kiwi is downright funky breakbeat, It's not perfect, but a wonderful album well suited for those days when you're looking to drift away. Shame they only made one. Psyshop Beatspace

We've finally found the one export with which we rule the world...humiliation. From the label that puts out music like Trump does insults this is a collection of tracks that were previously available for free download (don't ask me where) from a guy that has been around awhile. Formerly a duo now the solo project of Patrik Olsen this compilation (according to Discogs) is a full-on one trick pony. If you're looking for story telling pick up a book. It's straight ahead full-on with an aggressive edge, employing 303s and good grooves. And I'll tell you that sentence makes it sound better than it is. No twists or turns just four on the floor stuff. However when he uses his mighty 303 powers it is to good effect. I don't know how old these tracks are and it doesn't sound like the stuff we're used to hearing from Ovnimoon. This album feels like it could've been better with some more time in the oven. Not Trumps oven mind you. That's full of Mexicans and Muslims. Sig heil! Beatspace Psyshop

Ace Ventura - Rebirth (Iboga Records September 2007)

Pretty good album of pumping progressive trance where he pays attention to the little details that comprise a lush album. My favorites are The Light and the ones where he employs the 303 like M.A.R.S. The production exhibited a warm sound and was quite good to my ears. Not dated at all. Like others have mentioned no walls were harmed in its making, but it remains something of which he should be proud. I usually tire quickly with the Iboga sound, but this one ain't bad.
