  1. I wrote a review for Younger Brother Vaccine Electronic and wanted to know where to post it. It was officially released for sale in 2015, so I want to post it there. However, Vaccine was released in 2011 and the electronic version was released in 2014 (I think) as a streaming file for the phone app. Wanted to get moderator approval of section before I post it. Thoughts? May I use 2015? For those interested, the review is on my website now: http://goaconstrictor.com/music-reviews/younger-brother-vaccine-electronic/ Cheers!
  2. I had a day at work where I could kick it with headphones on for the day, so I was actually able to give it a spin. The different pacing of each season gave each segment a unique vibe and sound so it was actually listenable. Had each season been the same bpm, that might not have been listenable. =) Enjoy!
  3. I mean, the real question is: does it even exist? That's part of the Fall section. The shorter Fall mix is available here: http://goaconstrictor.com/music/happy-20thish-anniversary-goa-trance-fall/
  4. I really appreciate your openness about all of this stuff and the clear communication All manufacturing has the potential to have problems and I've bought records in the past that were pressed with errors. It happens. Keep doing your best and people will come along for the adventure
  5. So excited to hear some classic Wizzy Noise. Maybe some Paps will appear on one of these down the line too... xo
  6. [::::download::::] (6hr04min/320MP3/877MB/©2015) Genre: 604 Psychedelic Anniversary Goa Trance Mega Mix Goa Trance, while it did begin popping up a bit here and there in 1993 and 1994, was truly birthed (according to my KNOW-EVERYTHING-ABOUT-GOA brain) in 1995. So that means, 2015 is kind of, for lack of a better origin story, the pseudo (like the science often sampled in the songs) birthday/anniversary of what has been known as Goa Trance. The 604 Mix So here it is. The 604 Anniversary Mix. 6 hours. 04 minutes. A journey throughout the seasons. This series of mixes began as a simple two-part mix of Night and Day tracks that was to span the decades. After releasing the first mix, while beginning to assemble the second mix, I kind of thought that it would be more fitting to make a Four Seasons of Goa series of mixes to celebrate the anniversary of Goa. There are so many different corners to explore, I felt two mixes was squeezing things a bit tight. I had originally made the second mix so that it could play seamlessly after the first mix and then did the same for third mix. After I finished the third mix (Summer), I realized that if each mix were 91 minutes, they would Voltron into a single 6:04 length mix. Unfortunately, by this point it was too late. I was already locked into 80 minute mixes. A bit of elementary arithmetic showed that I could likely add five more tracks (one at the beginning, end, and then between each of the mixes) and make the entire thing the proper length. All together, there are 55 songs packed into these six hours and four minutes of music. From the old to the new to the unreleased to the overplayed; the journey weaves in and out of sanity and oscillates through various parallel dimensions. I touch on almost everything (from Green Nuns to Rip Van Hippy, Ticon to Kino Oko, Planet B.E.N. to Pleiadians, Blue Planet Corporation to Texas Faggott, even Infected Mushroom and GMS make appearances). Had I truly thought this out ahead of time, I may have moved a few tracks around or maybe swapped a few out for something else, but none of that matters, as this is what it is. While you could just download each of the 04 season mixes (winter, spring, summer, fall) and get most of this journey, hearing the entire thing in full is kind of the way to go. It truly winds you through so much rich history of Goa and I feel it showcases why, even though some of my friends have walked away from this music, it will always have a hold on me. Happy 20th(ish) anniversary Goa trance!!! You make my head spin <3 xoxox -Goa
  7. AaaAaAaAaaaaaah!!!!! So awesome!! =) Can't wait for Rain Johnson's Episode VIII!!!
  8. The machete order is good, however, Phantom Menace is easily the best of the prequels. Liam Neeson and Darth Maul outrank anything the other movies bring to the table. While midicholrians, toddler Anikan, and Jar Jar can be tiresome; it's all far better than the other two movies. Episode order: 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 6 I, because I'm an adult and I can tune things out, ignore the midicholrian bullshit much like I ignore when people talk about Jesus around me. The Force is the Force. Thursday is gonna be awesome!!! =)
  9. I'm going on Thursday night with some of my family at a great theater with assigned seats (don't need to show up 8 hours early to get good seats) I took Friday off of work because I plan on... enhancing my visual pallet before the show. So excited =) I remember seeing Phantom Menace opening night; while that trilogy was ultimately extremely disappointing, the experience of opening night was great. I'm sure the same will be for The Force Awakens (although I'm really hoping that it is far superior than Phantom Menace)
  10. Nano has been the new 3D Vision for years... since always.
  11. Less than one week to go! I've got tickets for Thursday the 17th! EeeEeeEeEEEeeeek!
  12. I can't stand his Furious stuff but I love love love me some Delirious Noon! Wish he would release more of that stuff
  13. [::::download::::] (1hr19min/320MP3/192MB/©2015) Genre: Fall Time Psychedelic Anniversary Goa Trance Goa Trance, while it did begin popping up a bit here and there in 1993 and 1994, was truly birthed (according to my KNOW-EVERYTHING-ABOUT-GOA brain) in 1995. So that means, 2015 is kind of, for lack of a better origin story, the pseudo (like the science often sampled in the songs) birthday/anniversary of what has been known as Goa Trance. Fall Creepy and kooky, mysterious and spooky, all together ooky, weird, strange, sick, twisted, evil stuff… Goa has always had a playful history with the fall equinox. Aliens, ghosts, carnivals, monsters, things that creak in the night; goa likes to trip you up in the future forest. So, with that, the conclusion of the seasons series of mixes is a sinister yet playful mix that finds humor in dealing with those demons long before a generation vexed was bad for children… I hope you’ve enjoyed going on this journey with me throughout this past year as it has been a fun story to weave together. Even though there isn’t a fifth season, there is one more piece to the puzzle and that’ll be coming soon. So, as they say, stay tuned. http://goaconstrictor.com/music/happy-20thish-anniversary-goa-trance-fall/

  15. Seriously. I was about to post that in an angry haste after reading someone else post Darshan - Spectra. Spectra is good and all, but Awakening is a phenomenal story. Thank you for catching that before I did.
  16. Oooh! Man with no Name - Interstate Highway (I think. I just listened to it in the car and I'm fairly confident there were no voice samples!)
  17. This is easily my favorite thread on here. I keep almost having a good suggestion but they all fall apart somewhere. Everything has at least one damn sample in it somewhere. It's brutal. +1 on the topic =)
  18. So, they finally released the Electronic version of the album and that is seriously A+ music. The electronic version is everything Vaccine should have been originally. It's like they held off on releasing this version because they knew it was so much better and they were really wanting people to buy into the Cold Play 2.0 versions of the album. Rubbish! Finally, four years later, I can enjoy a new Younger Brother album!! Hell yeah. This is some good shit
  19. Yeah, I mean, it really might be a meandering mess of needing-to-be-edited-down but I would love to get to hear it at least once so that I can make up my own mind
  20. Simon mentioned it on the old goa@party.net mailing list about 15 years ago Has been on my list of Must Hears ever since He reports that he has never played it out, too long, but I think James Monro has
