  1. My boyfriend knew I was saving some money for an iPhone 4S. Then he decided to make me a surprise and gave one to me. Actually he made the seller the happiest man that day: he bought one for me, one for him, and finally another one for my 16 year-old nephew. I must admit I don't like at all the commercial side of X-mas. I think this is a time of the year to celebrate with joy, and joy only. But I confess I loved to be given an iPhone three months before I was expecting it. BTW, Happy X-mas everyone!
  2. I was listening to some old CDs and Space Cat is another example of an artist going spiralling down.
  3. Funny, I was about to create a topic about non-psy music that are great. I keep looking for ambient and chill-out tracks to play on my lounge, I even created a topic sometime ago asking for tips. A lot of people suggested some online FMs that play psy chill-out, but I discovered that my patrons just hate drum'n'bass chill-out, a horrible genre that I can't understand at all. What is the point of writing tracks that are supposed to make you feel easy with irritating discontinuous drum? So, I opened my search and I finally found out the perfect, really perfect, chill-out stuff that everybody loves to listent to. It's so good that it's one of the reasons that make my patrons to return to my lounge bar. I don't know how it's called, but I think it's Ibiza Chill-out. Best thing ever in the ambient area. Here's one of the favorite tracks, one that people ask me "please, play that again?" Magic Island - Paradise (Dj Shah Ambient Remix) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SK9dBjcOs80
  4. 2012 is almost here, so do you know about any release (that matters)? Astral Projection very likely will release their album. That's great. I would love to hear new stuff from X-Dream (without the vocals, please), Man With No Name, The Delta.
  5. After listening to it again and again, I must say it's a great release. So great to the point of making me want to throw Goa parties again. I am seriously considering a daylight party at my Bangkok-style lounge. What I really loved was the lack of fluffiness. And the dark atmospheres in some tracks is something I really appreciate in Goa trance. Thanks for making this free. Congratulations to all involved!
  6. Huh? It seems you wrote about another release, not about Atma's. This album is so cheesy it made me sick. Where did you see "mystic" in those tracks?
  7. As you are open to opinions, I say the first mix sounded way better than the last update. It went from a danceable Goa to a stale full-on-ish track.
  8. I liked it a lot. I love Goa with a strong kick. The bassline that starts at 1.18 is perfect, I love galloping basslines. I have been asking for tracks like yours in almost every psy forum. Loved the melodies too, though I think that effect that starts at 7:04 is a little bit annoying. A more subtle, soft effect would be perfect to my taste. Let us know when you release it.
  9. Let us know when you find something according to your taste, for I am always looking for the techy side of psytrance too. Have you listened to Tenonaki? I think he sounds far more techno than trance, I liked it a lot. @exotic: I like them too, that sort of melody is so dreamy. I have this "fever" for a 1980's artist that lasts some weeks, the current one is Sandra, of "Maria Magdalena", "In The Heat Of The Night"...miss her songs a lot.
  10. It made us lose the feeling of "missing" people, places, situations. Well, I think I am a romantic soul who loves missing.
  11. OT: @exotic: I am listening to "Little Lies" here while writing this. Love that song. Are you a 1980's Hits DJ?
  12. Oh, I thought you were only asking for more recent releases. Well, if you are looking for 2000's tracks, here are two playlists (one of mine, the other from Zipfn), two lovers of this rich subgenre: http://soundcloud.com/procyon-1/dj-procyon-techtrance http://ziptnf.ath.cx/mixes/Ziptnf%20-%20Inhuman%20Massacre.mp3 Both are posted on the DJ Promotion section.
  13. I am afraid there ain't much tech stuff these days. I mean, if you're asking real techno trance stuff, a la MOS or Spirallianz. But there's the zenonesque tech subgenre, which I don't like much. It is too close to click-click trance. The last tech stuff I heard and liked was Tenonaki's Roots album.
  14. Oh well, you're right. I listened to the tracks with my "powerful-ultra-mega" iPod earphones I listened now with a pro DJ earphones and I correct myself: they sound greaaat!!! Good to know that there are artists keeping the acid boiling. Congrats man!
  15. Man, this is caustic. I really like your tracks. I only wish you had given them a more powerful kick (is this the name you music writers give to the drum?), it would be perfect. My rating is 9/10.
  16. Well, thanks for the information. I had no idea there was this movie around. Anyway, a very tacky name, if you ask me. Second only to Alien Jesus .
  17. 190 bpm? It's hardcore even to Gabba parameters The artcover, well, it's sorta of not art And can you please explain to me what exactly is a kanibal holokaust? Some names are really senseless.
  18. Are you sure it's Astral Projection? It sounds like Jean-Michel Jarre trying to sound psychedelic, with partial success.
  19. Listened to almost every Goa released recently. What I really liked were the darker side of it, the ones with more sophisticated melody, without overlaying them (the melodies) to exhaustion. Some Portamento's and Nova Fractal's tracks really got my attention. NF's "Perception" is what I would say is the best path for the new goa generation.
  20. Well, the way I see it, I actually helped you: your topic got much more attention when I started bitching about KLF. Wanna better free advertisment than when people start beaking each other about your product? You may retribute me when you get famous and share some $$$ with me.
  21. I used to share my iMac with Windows 7 only for a specific program for Forex trading. It never crushed or caused problems to Mac or Windows. I would let Windows running overnight with a Forex robot (that eventually took me to bankruptcy) and would switch to the Mac side for "normal" work in the morning. Though it always bothered me to have Windows running on my Mac. I guess I am a Apple fanboy .
