  1. Honestly, I pity Elysium. His remarks, and lack of politeness are so powerful that he got to the point of having his good early Goa works damaged by his tongue. I am a member of Isratrance, and funny how I always thought that a guy called Beat Agency was always making himself against everybody in almost every topic, with great, deliberate effort. Always getting violent responses from other members. But it didn't take long to someone ask him if he was Kristian, of Elysium fame. I don't know him personally, but I hope it's something that happens only in psychedelic forums, not in his 'real' life. I am not any sweetheart, but I am not always venting anger or irony every ten posts.
  2. Mahadeva is such a masterpiece that any kind of intervention on it just does not work. Yeah, it's out of proportion, but's like trying to improve a Vermeer painting. There's nothing to do. IMO, the only remix that would sound great would be a dry, 4x4 tech-trance punching-kicking mix of it, a la MOS or Spirallianz. Would love to hear it.
  3. Lucky you!!! How did if feel? I mean, there are some LED decos that are really annoying - I hate the huge blinding wall behind the stage that we see in some big festivals. But this deco at Ozora looks very thrilling. Was it?
  4. Have you guys seen this video of the amazing led deco at Ozora?
  5. Man, you know, I am surprised. I really think the first track is sooo strange, so different, that I loved it. Really. I am a fan of tech-trance genre, and it sounds like TT at its best. It only needs some more working, but please keep the "dirtyness". It's what makes it so good. My review is 9 out of 10, the -1 is due to the mastering it's lacking. I also heard the remix of it, but the original is far superior.
  6. Not the best way to offer samples, I never download samples. Way too troublesome. But I did out of curiosity to hear "One" remixed, it sounds great. I heard more two tracks. It seems that Hujaboy left the tasteless full-on behind him, and is now trying to revive his old goa/tech-trance influences. I am not sure if I liked it. The SC sample is not working anymore.
  7. Finally a serious neogoa work!!!!! Innovation at its best!!! The best Goa around!!! Congratulations Portamento, the whole scene got richer with this work!!
  8. @exotic: the party looks great. When was it? I have an old CD, called "Hypnotic Goa Trance" with the same deities in the second photo.
  9. She's lovely And what a beautiful name "Jillian". It reminds me of Gillian Gilbert, the brain behind the acid lines in "Blue Monday", I always wondered what her tracks would sound like if she were into psytrance. Congrats!
  10. Errr...I may completely wrong, but isn't iMovie the app for that? It comes with the installation package CDs. I have it here, never used it, but I think it is some sort of image editor. You must have it too in your Mac.
  11. Envy is bad to one's health. They're nada nowadays - this I totally agree with you. But even being nada, they're more wanted, booked, listened to than you.
  12. I hope they release something soon, but without the awful vocals and the "messages". Please bring Thorazin back.
  13. My opinion is that 1995 is too far. Very likely the artists featured in this albums will be happy to be remembered. Anyway, if you are too worried, try contacting the artist you want his track uploaded, if you can find him/her...
  14. He was not unknown, only his tracks were a little bit to "clubby" (I never associated Reactivate Records with open air sound systems) to get entangled with the then new born Goa trance. That's why his names is hardly mentioned when we talk about 1990s trance. Frankly, to trance lovers of the day, Goa tracks were more sophisticated, refined than most trance tracks released then. Still, I think that some names that were not related directly to Goa like Friends Lovers & Family, or The Age of Love did some great songs that are a lesson on how-to-trance. Here's FLF masterpiece "Tribute", the sequence that starts at 5'37 still amazes me to this day. EDIT: I was suggested a better audio quality video.
  15. You're right. It is just that I was very excited when I read the title of the topic, but the tracks just didn't feel right, to me.
  16. I think that a "IMO" should be added to the title of this topic. To say all these tracks are "really good psy" is a little bit way too much.
  17. And I think you're the smartest person on the universe, Elysium. Second only to God himself. Or perhaps you're the Top One, who knows?
  18. You're been naive. Of course this political stuff must be something of a parallel problem that is affecting the release, but there are other serious problems with the labels involved as well. One thing I can't understand is this feeling some of you have that they have this "obligation" to release their album ASAP, and when it's clear they won't do it soon, some comments just derail into sarcasm. IMO, besides the political and legal problems they're facing, there's also the creative side of this album that they might be working on, trying to update and polish their sounds. Last, but not the least, they- or one of them - may be facing private problems we're not aware of.
  19. It seems that Psysex has moved to the prog territory.
  20. Awesome!! Very zenonesque, though Soundmute artists' tracks sound just like the same one, to my ears.
  21. So, you know about the Psyvader party in Gifu mountains this August, don't you? I wouldn't miss that if I were in Japan. These parties still has that mystique some of us miss so much.
  22. Well, if you are not careful in the Amazon jungle, you indeed may lose your left testicle . Or the right one. Or both . I don't know if this made news in Europe, but just last month a British tourist decided to dive in the Amazon river (200+ meters deep in some places), never to be seen again. RIP, by the way.
  23. The 60k number came from one of the organization members. That's what is posted in some forums. I agree that Martin is just repeating his set again and again, it would be great to hear new stuff.
  24. Some guys are saying there were 60.000 people at Ozora this year. Sceptics say it was impossible. But take a look at this video: it's an ocean of heads. Unbelievable till you see it. Plus, the sound quality is superb and adding history to quality, Martin Freeland (Man With No Name) delivers a set that is pure gold. Congrats to Ozora org for this. Hope I make it in 2012.
