  1. @vera: because there happened no suicide during the shooting! That's why it made the news. They just saw the "jumper" after. Depths offers a good explanation for that.
  2. Man, how do YOU play live in a psytrance show? Please explain how much smart you are than all the artists and DJs out there.
  3. This video caused furor when it was shown on Japanese TV. It it not an hoax, it's the real image.
  4. Mine: 1) Your favorite AP album? - Dancing Galaxy 2) Your favorite AP up-tempo track? - Cosmic Ascension (Dj Jorg Remix) 3) Your favorite AP down-tempo track? - Can't remember 4) Your favorite AP artwork? - The classic "Dancing Galaxy", it's one those albums you can recognize the cover among a thousand ones. 5) Your favorite AP melody? - The final minutes of Cosmic Ascension 6) Your favorite AP speech/voice sample? - Can't remember... 7) Your favorite AP intro? - Cosmic Ascension Well, as you can see I love "Cosmic Ascension", it has something ethereal that still causes this deep feelings in me. Of course, I love also Mahadeva, People Can Fly, etc...but "Cosmic..." is my number one.
  5. I have an opinion and a suggestion. I think that the Off-Topic forum is great, you see there's a lot of people who post most times there than in other places in Psynews. But the 'Movies', 'Books', 'Arts' and 'Religion' sub-forums are not so visited and thus not so appreciated as they cold. I think it's because they're separated from the rest of the other topics, it's just some centimeters in a computer, but it's a barrier. Looks like a separate room in a library. My suggestion is to merge the sub-forum, but keeping them always in the top. Another suggestion is to create a 'Politics and economy' sub-forum. My 2 cents.
  6. @Manuser: I am not afraid of entities. My religion understands that they are just us, after the passing. And we also understand that when someone "appears", it is because there's something to be said or done. Most times, they want prayers. What really scares the s**t out of me are roaches and live people. Ghosts can't kill you, thieves can. @Shpongle: anxiety is a huge barrier. The more you want to see, the less chances you have. If you think you're ready for that, I suggest you practice astral projection - it's one of the easiest portals to cross. However, I warn you: there are things out there you must be prepared to understand and deal with. Ufo-wise, I have never seen one. But my mother saw one when she was a teenager and lived on a farm. At that time there was no planes, no baloons, but she says that she and all her family saw a shiny round object going up and down for hours in the sky. She never saw anything similar after.
  7. OMG! I just realised I posted about Ephedra and JBC Arkadii in the wrong thread. Anyway, this Suntrip release is awesome too. Both are winners!!
  8. Can mods merge the two topics? I wasn't aware of this older one.
  9. For starts, it's not so unknown to some. But to others it is. And there are those who don't believe there's such thing. All deserve to be respected. But, have you ever met, or seen, or experienced, a situation or a phenomenon that is beyond this our reality? Or technology, for UFO related experiences? I will start with my last experience: I was sleeping and I woke up - really woke up - and I saw a man by my bed, he was around 30 years old, never had seen him before. I couldn't sense his energy, friendly or not. His presence lasted around 5 seconds, then he vanished. I have a feeling about why he was there, but I need understand the reason of his presence better. Oh, I was not afraid. I was about to ask him questions when he vanished.
  10. I know that Darkill, I was just making fun
  11. Oh I mean how do say "arkadii "? Is it like arcadia? Or arcadee?
  12. Even11? Is he a francisee of SevenEleven?
  13. Do you mean a paper or a virtual magazine? A physical one would have the problem of distribution. There's one I like very much, it's Posivision, created by Ree.K. It's free and full of ads, reviews, and interesting articles. It was a psy/goa mag at first, but now it covers almost all genres, commercial or not. Survival tactics, one guesses...
  14. You know what really makes me sad about goa? It is that back in 2000, when I had this passion for it, I used to think how powerful and beautiful goa would be in 10 years time. Frankly I used to think that it would be the soundtrack of my life till I would be an old man. But as you know, by 2007-8, it had lost all the magic. Asia 2001 is just another one who lost it too, sadly.
  15. Congrats on this compilation, perhaps the best VA in new school goa so far. All tracks are excelent. Ephedra and JBC Arkadii (how does one say this last name btw?) tracks were my favorites.
  16. I wonder why he wrote these tracks this way, if he has so much knowledge and experience. They sound normal, so unexciting, they don't seem to be from such a legend as Asia 2001 is.

    Memory

God forbid I remember everything, I would go gaga:) I think that a person who has a very good, or photographic, memory can not relax properly. I am terrible at associating faces with places with dates with facts, and that's ok with me.
  18. You were lucky, to live in Tokyo in that golden era! I never went to YBH, but I remember Bay Side Jenny and many other spectacular venues in Tokyo. I read that artists dreamed of playing there, for the venues, the Japanese crowd, exactly as you described. We had also Mother Club in Osaka, another legend in psy story. Japan was the best place to experience Goa, we were very lucky!!
  19. Mine were every party I went to in Japan from mid 1990s to mid 2000. Japanese parties are so special there are no words to describe them. I used to go to the mountains of Gifu-ken, which has a luxurious nature, in the middle of mountains plateaus, during autumn/spring and feel part of the starry night, the pines, the water nearby. And I went to almost every Blue Moon party in Diamond Hall, a huge dark, tall space, where orgs would hang huge backdrops and tens of UV lights. They use tons of incense too, something rare now. I always loved the "boom" feeling I had everytime I opened the sound-proof doors and that wave of loud basslines and melodies invaded my ears, and I felt it thru my body. I would instantly enter an euphoria state, and it would get stronger and stronger as the night went by. A night I remember so clear was one that there was this DJ playing tracks with an out-there-in-deep-space textures, and I felt like I was detached from my body. I could feel my feet, but the rest of me were somewhere else, I had goosebumps in my whole "me" and I was so happy I wished I could stay there forever, it was magic. And I am proud to say I was clear, never had to take anything to appreciate trance music and its richness. Absolum, Prometheus, Domino, KURO, Tristan, tens of DJs, there are too many to mention. I miss that feeling of natural euphoria a lot. Good times
  20. Uh? Is it only me watching Law & Order SVU? I like all their franchises, but the NY one is my favorite.
  21. Sounds 1990ish, which is good. I would play this in our lounge.
  22. Bingo! Poor guys. Poor bears.
  23. Just turned TV on, there's this fascinating and gruesome documentary about Timothy Treadwell. Just out of curiosity, I Googled him and found an official report on the last 6 minutes of their lives. Horrifying. We should love Nature, but we have to respect it as much. RIP.
  24. @jisnegro: Leftfield... you certainly know how to die with class! Mine would be Camillo - Analogical.
