http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQEbmeZUq3c&feature=player_embedded Need to ID the track starting from 11 minutes desperately. It's got one of the best acid builds I've ever heard (along with David Craig - Hypnotising).. any help would be much appreciated. Also need to ID the two before it as well if anyone knows them, tho not as important Thanks.

What music are you listening to right now?
Tom! replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?/topic/61604-danny-rampling-live-from-phoenix-festival-1996/ could do with some help ID'ing some of those tracks -
Get ready for something VERY special here. Before Global Gathering, there was the Phoenix Festival held in July in Stratford-Upon-Avon around the same time every year from 1995-1999 and this set is taken from the 1996 festival. I should warn you, don't expect good mixing.. infact don't expect average mixing, it's shocking but Rampling's Euro Mixes were never about the mixing.. it was ALL about the music and fuck me there is some exceptional music here. Danny Rampling - Love Groove Dance Party Live @ The Pheonix Festival - 1996-07-21 Part 1 http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VT5359FM Danny Rampling - Love Groove Dance Party Live @ The Pheonix Festival - 1996-07-21 Part 2 http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CMA40PUR Tracklist 1. Wax Traxx II - Meditation, Spiritualism & Love (Remix) (0:00 - 2:20) 2. ID (2:20 - 7:00) 3. ID (sounds like a mixture of perfecto meets acid haha) (7:00 - 11:30) 4. ID (Freaking awesome acid build - would love to know what this is!) (11:30 - 18:00) 5. ID (18:00 - 22:30) 6. ID (awesome ) (22:30 - 24:50) 7. ID (Sounds a bit UX'esq - wicked psy trance) (24:50 - 30:45) 8. ID (30:45 - 36:30) 9. Farenheit - The Awakening (Transient) (36:30 - 42:50) 10. If you think Psychowave and Artifact303's stuff is the same then you've got a hearing problem. The Psychowave EP released on neogoa is honestly.. well.. boring. None of the tracks really go anywhere and there just aren't many layers. Artifact303's album is the work of an extremely creative and talented artist who knows how to layer tracks properly. + I hate the term 'neogoa'. As a fair few people have said, I'm sticking to simply 'Goa'.

na no vinyl or CD releases planned to my knowledge! next up on Fluoro is Federation - Synchronized which is a collab between Solarstone and someone else apparently! Protoculture remix as well. All three Man With No Name tracks are getting single releases btw - first up is gonna be Sugar Rush. And they'r releaseing Grace - Not Over Yet with some new mixes too!
-
Think Tropical Sunset would have worked better at the beginning or end of the album, but kudos to Suntrip for trying something different . This whole album is absolutely magnificent. It will go down as one of the greatest Goa releases ever together with Dancing Galaxy and Transdimensional amongst others. Every single track is superb in it's own way, but as others have already said, it's the 2nd half of the disc where artifact303 shows just how special his talents really are. Magnificent release guys

K then..... E-Clip sounds NOTHING like Infected Mushroom. IM are extremely rock orientated with a little bit of psy thrown into the music. I don't like them - never have and never will. Goa has an extremely distinct sound. There are certain tracks which cross over both Goa and Psy. I guess Khetzal is a prime example of that - his stuff is much darker and twisted than say Astral Projection or Dimension 5. Be interested to know seeing as you have an extremely good knowledge of old Goa / Psy.. do you remember a psy track that was kaned back in 1996 on Radio 1 by Danny Rampling which used a sample from an american guy giving a speech at the Isle of Wight festival in the 70's? Rampling said the track was by 'Mystery Machine' called 'Psychedelic Concentration Camp'. I've been looking for it for 15 years and never managed to find any mention of it anywhere!!

Never gonna happen. Psy trance has evolved into the kind of stuff that I posted up. Goa has evolved to into a more melodic faster paced type of music. You will never succeed so you may as well give up. I'd hardly say E-Clip has failed at anything he's done so far. His 'Shuma' album has received rave reviews all round. John 00 Fleming loves him so much he's signed him to Joof to bring out his 2nd album. He's got a massive following.
-
listened to a little bit of dark psy stuff and I gotta say, it's not the most interesting genre in the world.. doesn't seem like there's much going on in any of the tracks really.
-
ok Ive removed the link for the time being until clarification on this is clearer
-
just over a week to go, holding out on doing a new Goa mix until I get this album Samples sound incredible.
-
that sounds quite good!

Originally bought a Goa CD which had it on CD II but the CD was mixed. Was looking for it for years before managing to get hold of it somewhere.. can't even remember how I did now, but was scrolling through some Wizzy stuff on youtube and came across a setrip of it again so thought Id upload the full length. Enjoy

http://www.facebook.com/perfectorecords John Askew took over as Head A&R for Perfecto about 3 months ago. Paul Oakenfold has also finally turned back to playing more underground stuff again after 10 years away and both have decided to resurrect Perfecto Fluoro. The first single is out tomorrow and is Paul's new track 'Tokyo' with a breaks mix from Beatman & Ludmilla. It's not Goa or Psy but is extremely reminiscent of the old Fluoro sound... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5fap1_zLZQ following Tokyo is 'Federation - Synchronized' with a Protoculture remix. Also forthcoming is something which could get you lot rather excited... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dKndB4tp7U&feature=related Man With No Name Remix EP - Teleport / Sugar Rush and Floor Essence all remixed. Again, the Floor Essence mix isn't particularly Goa / Psy sounding, but it's so much better than a lot of trance you hear these days!!! Not sure who's behind it though! Teleport has been remixed by Nick Sentience. No news on the Sugar Rush mix yet.

nice article Richpa - very interesting read. Whats the first track in that NeoGoa Youtube clip of forthcoming tunes by the way? It's incredible!!
-
Rosin Memories is one of the most incredible Goa Trance tracks I've ever heard. His music is so pure and brilliant. I really hope we see another album from Khetzal in the near future
-
actually I'd also say Enlightened Evolution by Astral Projection comes close.
-
best artist album ever and no one's mentioned Dimension 5 - Trancedimensional?!!! Either the above or Dancing Galaxy.
-
deffo wouldn't call it Psy, but that's a quality track for sure. He's also Cirez D.
