In 2002 while working in Greece, I got a burned CDr with the text 'Sweden Psychedelic Super Trance' from a Greek New Yorker. He gave me a light, a CD that impressed me so much that I finally started to appreciate the Scando-Forest-Goa vibes in music instead of only Mushroom induced desert music. The first compilation in the impressive Örebro Freakfactory series has been with me since that time. I have managed to keep the CDr clean from scratches and it took me some years before I figured out it was the VA it is. Today, finally, after 5-6 years, I have the original copy in my hands I'm very happy about this, to have the original CD with it's magical and seductive tracks running from Spindrift to Battle Of The Future Buddhas. It's a VA filled up with truly psychedelic Super Trance! Return of the Shadows was one of the first tracks I ever heard from IM on a burned CDr while tripping on mushrooms for the first time. It's to date one of my all time favorite tracks! It really exites me, the intro drops, the mood, the tempo, the variations, the funny sound effects haha, the details coming and going all over, the very kool guitar riffs that rushes the track along, the everything. Kai Tracid Question, people mention Cosmosis all over the net about being GREAT acid trance music. Now I have one album by Cosmosis, http://www.discogs.com/release/544113 How do you people concider this album, is it good, or bad, or mediocer? I have had it for a few days and the only track that I have got my acid eye on is track one and two, especially the number 2 track: Gift Of The Gods. See also that these two tracks are with the help of Jez Van Kampen who is also a part of the leg. Laughing Buddha. Is this a good album in yor psy eye? Is it a sort of best of.. I don't get this album yet. Find it a bit confusing and paranoid in the not so positive manner. Might be I need to give it more time, because I want to love Cosmosis.. peace Btw.
