  1. So like many out there have seen/heard, the guitar playing of that "greek godlike" dude in Boom Festival and other videos that has been going around, this is not That powerful. But for sure it's very impressive and powerful still. The artist (Material Music) is a real musician, and plays many instruments like a pro I'd like to share, and would like you to share some acoustic guitar music as well in this thread. I'll post 2 acoustic guitar trax by Material Music here for your listening pleasure:
  2. MALAKA!! Congratulationz with your new nest Looks inviting and cozy. Thanks for sharing. . https://soundcloud.com/erland-yildiz/turne-something-sad-to
  3. Psytrance. Thank lord for that comment and I'd like to agree. Ok, roger DAT and thanks R.Loop. I'll make sure to put other FREE Downloadable track available asap on Psynews (don't sit up and wait for it) .... *friendly thread take-over!*
  4. Progressive Goa, with analog equipment, loops and samplers, its the way Goa became Trance-inducing swirling rhythm machines
  5. Psychedelic Progressive Goa Trance, the very best of Progressive trance, I can not reply so much on that but I am rude and willing enough to add this track as a Best one, *free download availible* its got loads of those classical progressive trance elements, kinda unique in its unoriginality. Its all real btw, analog gear.
  6. Nice intro, nice ambiance... Nice build, and there we go. Thump thump thump with bleeps echoing around the core... Its oldschool, kinda nice and dreamy but simple/old and gloomy. Nice darker bubbles at the end, and then it ends with some soken words that builds apun the tracks overall nice atmosphere. Nice work i guess, and a good sample section at the mid-end there. It all sound a bit too old i think, or amateurish.. But it is enjoyable for a listen and emotion. Amithaba Buddha track came up on the YouTube after the OP track in Q, and it's much much better, that's to say, much more advanced Goatrance. I think the OP track is cute and i donno, Goapsy, not totally worthy of such a stamp, and progressive? Yeah right. https://goarecords.bandcamp.com/track/feed-your-ego-frost-raven-remix.
  7. Yes on the Love & Magic (L&M 100s) track by Material Music like with many of his tracks, is at 146 bpm which I also think is a tad too much speed.. Good thing is though that the track works to pitch down a few bpm or more.. I've been much uncertain about what style to call and promote it, so thanks for All opinions! Cool that you DL it R.Loop! Enjoy Hope it works for you to DJ if that's your fun! This (unreleased) one might interest some Koxboxers btw (imo):
  8. Thanks dude, would you say the live version rids the non Psy or Goa stamp, or its still not? Here is btw (all his tracks has a progressive vibe to them) another track by Material Music, maybe it's less progressive and more Goapsy.
  9. Yes Happy 18th B-day, Psynews May you be around for many hundred years to come. https://beatspace-dropout.bandcamp.com/track/ocelot-happy-birthday
  10. I added synthwave to the description on discogs for this track (single release), but donno how misguiding that actually is. I mean, the track has syntwaves, not the poppy one maybe, and that = analog synthesizers : ) I can remove it if people here say so! This (mixcloud) has loads of live synthesizers played on top of the original track (soundcloud). Pretty impressive imo.
  11. I wish you could hear this ""regular"" Progressive Goa inspired PsyTrance track, look at the numbers that make the length (time) of the track it self! 1512 (read; dr hofmann's potion)
  12. The long delicious progression and element-ed potential on top :: this original mix version is very stripped compared to what the artist is able to present on his live shows, which is amazing and yes very analog and alive.
  13. Hey This track contains what your not looking for! That's to say, its very pinnacle of what I could imagine some early Goa Trance was in nature, when the trance came strong,- so you might actually enjoy it still tough I realize its off-topic. Tuddelidu
  14. This live version has some nice "intense acidtrance climaxes" innit: But it's not THE track... for sure.
  15. Well this oddball leans towards trance normality with "good mix. Nice journey. Classic choice of sounds."
  16. Yes this is a GREAT and long awaited release from the almighty YGGDRASIL RECORDS! I love it, all three discs, and I am very proud on a personal note that my name is in the booklet among the Thank Yous! For sure this is the very first time i am mentioned and thanked inside a CD-booklet. So this is for me personally a huge deal and something that I feel proud of. *from growing up I've always loved to read the lyrics and thank yous and inspiration inside the CD-booklet of the albums I bought. I am sure many can relate to that. PS. when you buy it from bandcamp you get 3 extra tracks, among them a new edit of INDIANER, which is awesome:
  17. 18. Hei trippers and trancers, this is a label announcement with news + updates on whats going on within KER. discogs: https://www.discogs.com/label/1393052-Kali-Earth-Records bandcamp: https://kaliearth.bandcamp.com/ Kali Earth was established as a new label on the 28th of December 2017. The first release was on the same night. The release is a single track by Material Music (a talented artist) given to the psytrance event organizer Love&Magic, in 2015. It was only now let loose, just the way it is. A proper Record label, i think we most agree on is a label that publish and release physical formats (CD, Vinyl) as well as the new digital formats like i.e FLAC and Wav. We've chosen a tad unconventional way of starting up the label in these new times. Therefor we use mainly Bandcamp but we will when things are more ready and steady move onto other distributor pages as well to be more accessible to the general wider public. Right now, we only offer a CDr/Files of our debut release (KER001) . And the single is a grower, so expect it to get more tracks added soon.... Our aim is in general great psytrance and chillout music, and we're not afraid of pushing the envelope or to creating a new style on the way. The label name Kali Earth Records is in direct inspiration to the legendary label, Shiva Space Technology (SST). In retrospect, you could say that the world is also too full of bad kali, and hence, Kali Earth Records. We come with much love, and true peace of mind. Boom shanti *
  19. Sometimes I enjoy my self because I'm quick and see things fast.. Sometimes I laugh, because I'm so slow. When I first heard this track (i got it from Napster in 2000/2001) and had never really heard Psytrance before except for some MWNN and Zodiac Youth.., I thought it was of course a very cool and different piece of music (i came from a more (nu-) Metal taste background and IMs 2 first albums listened to for the very first time combined with a virgin trip on psychedelics (mexicans) just overwhelmed & converted me into a psytrance head). I never did really understand though, except for being a cool movie (Independence Day) and a gnarly sample, why in a Psy/Goa-trance album there was this lyric/sample about dying/hate. Except for, the ego-death metaphor.. Anyway, it was kinda overlooked as silly to meaningful and the IM love with a growing love for other Psy- and Goa artists continued. The track is also of much poorer sound-quality then the rest of The Gathering album btw imo. A couple of years ago, a sad thought hit me, that the track could be about political dilemmas, like the Gaza strip..... Then just a few weeks ago it struck me, and I am so embarrassed I didn't realize this before (truth can be multiple who knows how many thoughts or no thoughts/intentions the IM had while making it). The guitar in the track Release Me, is snatched from a Metallica track. And one could argue that napster made IM, sort of say ,) Metallica was in the front of killing Napster right. Aum shanti.... Ba-Boom! Release Me......
