As I liked it so much, I also bought their 2008 album unheard. It was totally Goatrance. I didn't expect that. And now Im on Bandcamp playing their 2012 release, which has a Hallucinogen intro tune on it *see youtube link*. Ive not heard their 2006 album Shamanarchy yet. Seems like to me that each album theiv released represent a different style within Psytrance. I played the whole album in my old appartment in the middle of a capital city. Doing that, playing a full album out the window (backyard, but still) for sure makes you concider how good the album actually is heard from many varieble ears. Why? I was testing a bluetooth soundsystem I was promised would last 5 hours full power. It didnt. It lasted about 2 hours. Good sound thouugh, impressive. Very much agree, even though I havent heard much of Talpa's releases beyond the first. Talpa and Erez respectfully share that innocence of having not taken magic mushrooms / or any drugs at all before making such magic mushroom like music, if you'd like. The Misted Muppets I bought and it fell off my ears for a long while being too full-on and weary on the ears. In general, thank god for Pitch on CDJs. Its much better some slowed down imo.. Antic, could you please take the time to point out where you connect this Sauce album wth the two first? Because Im struggling for the most to hear what your so positivelly happy comparing about.. Actually, after this album, i am starting to thinkk an old silly thought that IM's legendary albums, are not made by them 2 only, it was co-created by other minds of the psytrance scene. Listening to the Sauce I am unable to hear how in earth/space they managed to make such powerful alternative trance music like Gathering and Classical.. Since 1996... Smth smth...... PS: You members of psynews are mostly Goa-fans, and damn awesome at it. Is there not a single person that can agree that listening/mixing like a DJ together tracks from Classical, and artists like Crop Circles (DAT Records release) works marvoulus together???? That IM music just like the first three IM albums, have managed to inspire and pull a lot of poeple in. I pitty those who only diggs the new IM and do not fancy the old- IM so much. I guess they pitty me/us too! All IM has smth. Just now with this Sauce album, i am starting to question if they actually where solely the ones making the first ones. Because the all is soo mucch more impressive and FAT *whooooo!! then on this new shit. And I am baffled by how many people ENJOY the annoyance of (especially) new IM. The ocean man, the ultimae ocean may seem the same, but when you dive in to it ....,. It's all water and corals, right.. No, I'm no Ultimae expert and own few releases my self (Distances, and now Far & Off), + i've bought the Movement CD and the World Of Sleepers Vinyl (blood music) to my brother last years, whos taste is a bit more, refined then mine. We all ,,know" Ultimae and it boils down to the mood of the tastebuds maybe. Anyway I have a lot of Ultimae to catch up on listening wise. Aint it a wonderful world with much choice..As a listener, tripper and a DJ I'd easily imagine one can experience nice worlds floating through a Ultimae universe for a while, only. dj only ~,~ For me the pleasure of now returning to listening through the Ultimae cataloge came to me one night recently where I didnt know what to listen to..... So it became chance (ultimae has always been in the back of my mind, never forgotten just kinda put on hold, moshi moshi). For me Ultimae delivers a well balanced journey that doesnt have "too much" dub bass, or psymbient beats, or shpongly sounds, and isn't too much etnical like Interchill is i.e.. This is especially the case for me with the two albums I now own. I love their album journeys. Feels like mature but not too dry proper modern ambient music. Last night I scrolled through the bandcamp again and with a halfopen eye ended up on "Unyt" by Scann-Tec. Also good. I think my next actual buy from ultimae will be a Circular album. Ive gone through them a few times over the past 2 years because of ( .. ) and have enjoyed much, so I might as well pay my support and own it. PS. Because of this wonderful forum, i sometimes search for Steve Roach ambient mixes and feel the relaxed joy it gives me. Even rarer is that I have listened to the Ultimae rec. cataloge (ever growing), so when I did that a few weeks ago and by scrolling through their releases (images and titles/artits names on bandcamp) I hit the Far & Off and ...yeah. Well what can I say? Ive yet to purches all the oCeLoT albums, though they have been in my wishbasket for a while (i own some VA tracks). Same goes for Procs. Huge respect, such amazing production and psychedelic is its name. Totally. Yes I will follow your recommandation and get those three albums, at least.
