Welcome to the debut album of Leon Kane, a talented person with a nifty ear and hefty sense for psychedelic trance in that lovely and gliding UK style which so many of us love. By now Leon Kane should be no stranger for the lot of you who digs this style with his involvement in Reality Grid which was a co-operation with Alex EVP from Wildthings Records. Avalon's rip-roaring tunes has been tried and tested with big success on dance floors all over, like his many appearances on varies festivals like Glade2009, Burning Man 09, Universo Paralello 10 and many more across the plains of Europe, Australia and Japan. With the support and acknowledgement of Nano Records, Leon has gone developing his own solo project called, Avalon (Which is said to be a paradise island where King Arthur was carried after his death). When listening to Avalon you should be aware of its complex nature and sublime features of advanced trance skills in that proper UK way of putting the Psy in Trance with non-cheesadelic melodic features for the layer fanatics. Bahia is here to play his tunes from a fractal present inside an alienated yet familiar landscape where some Indians once roamed in claustrophobic forms. This is a place where spirits gather in holy dance and solid trance. The bassline is steady with floating elements on top making it all feel like a jingoistic take-off of delight in flight. We like this, eh.. the eternal (?). **** 2. Into the New World where mysticism and strange tokens rises on the deep atmospheres becoming rocket fueled starships gliding carefully yet strong into the unknown essence of one’s own emotional depths. Psytronical insect-like creatures communicates through clicks and blips. This might be the instruments inside your astral craft roaming through intergalactic stars and acid iced forests. It’s absolutely beautiful the colours it shines towards you, and may it bring in its future path; No rules where nothing can go wrong! This is defiantly a cruising track observed from inside a flying object. ****** 3. As the Teleporter energizes itself to become ready and self-aware the heavier beats gather in flickering motions with hallucinogenic effects surrounding your being in acidic manners and it’s time to get teleported in lotus positions to another stage of faith. ‘Why does he care so much about the past? Maybe he thought he could change it..’ ***** 4. As Destiny Awaits, the funk is on a groove and the effects seems to be on a echoing roll sliding it’s acid troll inside a metaphorical trip, so watch out, don’t slip! It’s your destiny to join us, only effort and guidance in right directions of selective protections will help you through the ketamin glue. ***** 5. Where we have come is something to be undone but never unsung, the tribalization is in synchronized harmony of guiding trumpets and misfit stompers - Beauty in a space jungle, Funky in the Voodoo magic. You do, who do? I’ll tell you what I believe; ‘Shit happens’. **** 6. Out There someone is teaching people to use their head, now the point is that in order to use your head; You have to go out of your mind as it is a fleeing possession we all cherish to dwell on not seeing that we are more than the shallow mind and it’s protective reactions to what our true being is dealing with. Our cosmic unity has as many incredible layers and powers with astonishing self realizations as the music at hand. Musical evolution which states the fact that there is only a fractal-self, there is just the sense of to ‘be’ while observing and watching what and where the mind wanders without care ***** 7. .. the mind travels to Another Planet where fruitful growth and inner education to a state where one manages to find underlying peace in any situation. The mind is calm while the body is busy dancing to joyful sounds selected by life that might as well be found on a distant planet far away near enough to be seen with eyes closed on a state of being open for informational transcendence. ****** 8. Flickering lights and rusty pipes with jumping flights Swamps the Funk towards psychedelic junk in a magnificent and swirling trunk. Quirky tempo and respectful thoughts comes out to another floor with interstellar slurries attaching the grind and making smiles shine. ***** 9. In the view of Distant Futures we seem to not be moving through time but time is passing through intellectual moves and gravitational grooves. Drops of hope carries the deep kicks while melting all realities into one reaccepting sense of wellbeing and ultimate understanding of how the universe might for all we know be a self-inflicted intelligence test trying to realize itself through our own eternal consciousness of profound understanding. **** 10. Jungle rain makes the dried potatoes go insane. Juggling beats is nothing to defeat. Opus Pokus is about that special composition exhilarating our chakras making the world morph into a truer self than what seemed possible at first peak, until the magic starts to dance in advance. To create a thought, an idea, a sound with the mind is not always an easy task, now imagine that you where to create the whole universe with the very power of your own thought.. ***** Recommendation: Now there is something utterly alluring by the way some of these UK chaps manages to produce such complex and vivid music that just seem to fly in subtlety psychedelic trance. It’s the many layers with touches of pleasurable groove and refreshing funk that excites; it’s the willingness to not go over the top with melodies and craziness that puts it on a divine dinner table for the wizards to feed on the many details placed around to create what it eventually manages to create – Bliss and mystery. So what’s the downside with this release then? Well, without liquid goggles and fancy pants, it becomes generic and lost too fast. It’s definitely a pleasurable listen, but breathtaking and ear-catching to follow in its own distinct characteristics, not so obvious.. It should be mentioned with loud words that the cover artwork by Android and the acid reflection of a lost Mayan city inside the cover artwork by Anton Kononov is absolutely spectacular! All in all I find myself really enjoying this release because it truly succeed to draw you into its magical realm where surprises keeps on coming and dropping out leaving you breathless with a giggling sanity for a smile. For those with fine tuned ears there is such honorable complexity in the composition that one must wonder where they get it from (must be something in the water, must be .. ). So if you like your FullOn to be psychedelic with trance inducing flow and groove, please check this one out – It should turn you on! Deep thundering bubbles streaming towards the surface to catch that essential breath of air while whispering play and static signals pushes the mentality to higher grounds where coral reeves and watery insects crackle their claws of demonizing selection. A wave deliciously shushes over your skull while life evolves from the depth of sea up to the land of me. Radio-activeness play a lovely tune, it’s moist like tears of pixies in fruitful trees. Bassline is fine, oh so fine. Sounds cooperated like nature itself was composing this tune from a delightfully confused loon. Sea ghosts scream their pirate signals, fog rolls within your heart of self-inflicted farts. The energy rises up to a land filled with haunting sorrow. Freaks are bleeping their colourful fleets, the rocks being formed by crushing waves as life begins to breathe with the help of pulsating heartbeats in astonishing patterns of trembling life. ***** 2. Silence creeps, selection sleeps and drops of frosty acid makes one freak in all that we seek. Ping-pong’s travel in holy rooms where dragons breathe in silent corners. Life stretches their arms and waves the stream of pumping life into that opened up spiral, move those crooked limbs like chimps. Gone are the settled beats and hurray we welcome the stomper fest like it was a never ending test. Crackling beetles, jumping crickets and fishing trolls play through a dark yet shining and green forest full of leafs and sticks. Incredible, the sparkling firecrackers spin around your newborn being fresh out of the sea like tingling spiders and playful ticks. All around in flattering patterns they fly high and low in the forest below. Magic becomes as trolls start to hymn fast along the activated song. What a dance, what a joy! - Forest magic at its finest. ***** 3. Warning roaming rockets doming signal squeak in flair, sounds push the foundation stare while insects tingle and wind blows through silverware. Crunchy plate of selected confusion, melodies scattered like a fine platter full of ghosts and other freaky moist of lost toys. Apes swing through trees, many autumn leafs of the thieves is to dine on the line with the sane. Inside caves there are light generated by the smallest organisms ready to evolve, grow and become funky melodies based on hypnotizing dance which definitely takes you into a wonderful trance. Only thing I don’t love about this track is the weird factor of the haunting voice, its intriguing for sure yet it keeps on annoying me more then it trigger those lovely synesthesias. **** 4. Continues sturdy in the previous tracks tempo, phased and sturdy. It has moved from the slippery Banana Boat into the miracle world of EQ 4 U where the sounds are surrounding you all around creating that authentic and impressive YggdraSound space right up in your face. .. Then more of the weeded out and haunted tricks to make your eyes flicks comes along to show. Such beautiful production, such massive control of the insecticide bleeps and beeps, tingeliding-tingelitang-dang, what a tiring sang. *** 5. Story changes direction as we cross over to a Zoological space which seems like a race to create what is the not so fast and not such an entranced theater of side winding effects where harsher winds and tumbling woods mold. Bassline has its ups and down as the harder rock mashes in the ghostly mood of break-beatable animal food. New dishes, are we cooking hunted game for Maria Johanna, I thought she was a vegan because this for sure has meat on the skeleton bones, too bad it seems staled and unfocused about where to be served and how to be eaten. ** 6. After a meal like this it’s time to put on your rocking shoes, twist the knobs to create chicken slacks so that the night might become impressive the way the way the way we like it to sound. It has to be mentioned many times, the basslines of these Yggdrasil guys are key for their attraction together with sexy butterflies flying all over your presence trying to grab your hornyfied persona. Oh yes, the basslines are like huge comfortable sofas ready to be ridden like a phat horse with ghostly wings. She needs a spanking this blonde horse, yes of course. So let’s twist the night away inside fluorescence walls close by 50’s shopping malls where alluring beats call. *** 7. Something is overheating, could it be the stove, is the radiation Ok? Strong beams travels past, cosmic in sense and sparkling as well as dense. Bassline kicks sturdier with a mission clear at sight for this is a set-up for unrolling brilliance followed by sneaking peaking with seashells breaking along a forest trail of anti-fail, look! Is that a snail? … A travelling piece for sure. *** 8. As the intensified rolling bass and kick flights the fight with hysterical insects of the Yggdraforest, a motorcycle of kind sweeps thorough presenting heavier stomps to shake our romps. Laughing matter is a something we all need for without it there cannot be seeds to feed a trolling shoaling. Building bridges is hard work, it isn’t easy to cross the water one was born in, or a gap you have fallen inside before. It takes courage and strong will to climb those clouds to attach the wiring and bricks necessary to keep a bridge stable and firm. - Stressing, impressive and most of all, boring in its chaotic beauty as summer breeze and birds song shine on through the tree leafs high up in the mushroom sky. ** 9. As the end nears more haunting is presented to climb the creaks of ghostly pain which might make someone insane one day. In good sense and respectful gesture the last act from a Swedish crack brings the YggdraSounds higher to a screaming plateau of flying shadows and smelly meadows without spotted cows that wows. In this poetic justice, I’m feeling a tad rustic; must these tunes be so freaking endearing and sin-searing? ** Recommendation: Yggdrasil Records fast became with this release an respected and well thought of record label, where others focus on mad tunes for the forest Yggdrasil takes it’s binding roots and gives us in YggdraSounds a compilation full of muddy Mosstrance delivered from the ocean bottom, their sequel (which I managed to review before this release) showed how they manage to create an entertaining travel from water based life forms to the land of the forest floor and if we are lucky, the third YggdraSounds release will take us up to the sky for more airfoil’ish tunes with loads of fresh breezes and feelings of flying without effort. Who knows? It’s definitely worth the mention that this time as on the follow up the breathtaking art & design is made by the talented Are Marmelade, and the mastering is done by the legendary Tim Schuldt. Check this album out for some extra special forest trails full of controlled and confused delicateness. Rating 3.2/5 Edit: I'm sorry that I managed to rate this album 3.2 out of 5 stars. What should be noted is that I made an equation out of the scores I made while writing the 'so called' review. In all fairness this album with it's single track ratings needs and deserves a 1 star bump. Faxi Nadu is no newcomer to electronically based music. This is a guy with variation in music taste within the everlasting world of dance and listening music from computerized mental chips. In Modern Knight you will find a lot of atmospheric gliders, mystical energies and dark moods for that extra exiting moment of your floating yet struggling life. Faxi Nadu - Modern Knight (Digital Drugs Coalition) 2008 (DIGICD005) 01. I Am The Night 7:26 02. Take Cover 10:39 03. Issue At Stake 7:00 04. Pace Of The Space Race 5:46 05. Dark Night starts with dark, mystical and atmospheric atmospheres for you to crawl inside, it’s 7:30 in the morning and the trance-beat with pulsating dibbles carries the bell towards hypnotizing phases where dark knights wave their magic wand to blast you with pleasant bleeps and inspiriting seeds to be planted firmly in the ground your feet may dance a pun. Nice introduction *** 2. Again more unsettling and deep noises for your synesthesia to activate on. The space form seems to be bubbling into another horizon of darkness, wonder and fantastic illusions. The beat is kicking firmly while the tempo is playing with your head-trip, battling to stay sharp and civil as the power gathers in a settled manner of unsettling playfulness. Funny subtle phase shifters to create **** 3. When there is some issue at stake, like how to make the best possible surprised soundscape possible for the potential trippers at large, one will try to make something very honest, soul filled and mystical with layers to trigger your ambient urge and moods to mesmerize your fantasy world of whatnot and satellite might. ‘Issue at Stake’ is a nice and thumping piece with funny enough sounds to grind your imaginary doorway into wobbling spaces where balance seems hard to acknowledge when the floor keeps waving like it does. *** 4. As one fly past sprinkling star dust with the sound of crackling fire, the Pace of the Space Race takes its toll. A space-like groove with anti-gravitational snailholes that will take you past the base of usefulness sensation. Sure the beat flow is sturdy; the sounds are all interesting in its strippable manner of chaotic clothing with harsh crunches covering the alien nipple with its dripping milk which has a taste of green apples combined with cinnamon and raspberries. Some chanting of sort with hovering lights lets one know the transformation into another dimension is close, fragile and aware of its own presence. *** 5. Bob Dylan’s voice comes and mysteriously disappears into a mellow forest of birds with basses and leafs of hammering effects. Kick and beat carries deep, down to the root of a forest filled with light in darkness. Rooms are to be found, with echoing life as if the spirit it represents is hidden in muddy craze only to be lifted by beautiful voices which rises up towards the grass filled meadows where the Alamo used to lay... ** 6. Hasty action on your doorstep, hungry beats to cover the frantic noise of crazy people attacking flickering fast phased shocks of Sigilweaver and bubbling institutions of upraised prayer for delightful entrancement inside the most wonderful dance movement, which would be nice. Viva la Cuba! ** 7. Stadium fans scream their cheers for a rolling ball, effects crumples them inside compact beat manifestations where rugged carpets tries to fly away to another stay where one might get a real good aural lay. Some effects makes a good effort to please the ear grease while tempo and compositions makes it hard to actually ride the sofa towards other livingrooms with walls painted in bliss and the darkening wondering-ponders about life. - Some disturbing moods fly towards the swirling hole in the ground. Hey, that’s chewy and stretchy, which vortex will it lead and can it be dissolved with attention to beauty in flow while escalating the fetishist? ** 8. A crisis closes in; the walls are falling down like a terrorized bridge. Screaming hollows to become flying cowards as the sharper nipple-ripple strangles your reflection of hornyfied hippies refusing to shave their armpits in anger and deflect in prude selection. Interesting, mad, temper based and strong, yet something essential is missing in the listening adventure ** 9. Moaning hearts of static glory rolls fast on the freeway of freedom against stupidity and close-mindedness. Mystical atmospherically layers are presented with soft basis to lay a head waiting for the uncomfortable to hit the stray. Squeaking sounds please the ear canal with perfect balance of tempo and room to boom. Defiantly one of the most powerful tracks presented by ‘Modern Knight’, good mix in composition and breaks to make the sweat leak and smile widen like delightful drops hitting your brainstem with some serious bam-bam! **** 10. Sweep Dreams are made of these, who are Faxi Nadu to disassemble the tremble of flying jets and closing noises. We are looking for unsane patterns in our dimensional music in futuristic ideas and star-rising holograms of floating vibes which strives to float inside a perfect universal lightbeam of sweeping bleeps and dreaming moods. *** Recommendation: There is a lot of interesting tricks in the bag of Faxi Nadu and the man behind this project is Not without great talent, that’s for sure. - But too often it comes short of grabbing the full attention with extraordinary emotions that will siege a head which is after that something special that I think we seek. That said, I have to give mad props for the layers of atmospheres that has been carefully placed around the album for our experiencing pleasure, this is not a test and if it were, Faxi Nadu’s Dark Knight would have passed for its overall impression on dimensional experimentation. For me this music sounds like its inspired by acts like X-Dream, Ghreg On Earth and like most times it all falls down on personal taste, and when it comes to my own, this album lands somewhere in the middle, just above average. The mastering is done by the legendary Xenomorph who has done a superb job. The artwork by Hadar Lubaton is nice and simple, kind of homemade without too much effort in making something brilliant yet it seems to be a nice fit to the music presented inside. hey Infected fanboy, thats a nice effort you made and shows that you for sure have a love for the disinfected mushies :) They have been to both Sweden and Denmark many times in the past, never have they been to the brunost land of Norway. I don't think they have Sweden on their 2010 schedual because non has paid and booked them yet, so if your "lucky" some orginizers, venue place, concert arranger might book them if your signature-site get's a lot of positive feedback. I would hope, since you now are doing some positive work to get them booked that you would deserve a Free ticket fo U and U'r gf. Free limo, a bottle or 20 with champagne and enough acid to burn a giant hole in the dancefloor Good luck and lol with a smile. peace, je PS. Hey, this is the orignal review posted @ Isratrance.com Infected Mushrooms latest album Legend of the Black Shawarma is a direct follow-up of their last release Vicious Delicious with firmer ideas and a more confident approach on where they're headed and how they might get there. Through the latest years Duvdev has received heavy critique for his missed singing talent ever since he decided to go back to his roots of playing and singing in a rock'n'roll band ... 1. Smashing The Opponent (Album Mix) 145BPM 4:30 2. Smashing The Opponent (Timo Maas Mutant Dub Mix) 125BPM 8:35 3. Smashing The Opponent (Adam White Perfecto Remix) 138BPM 9:41 4. Smashing The Opponent (XI Remix) 145BPM 6:53 5. Smashing The Opponent (Robert Vadney's Vicious Remix) 133BPM 6:47 6. Smashing The Opponent (J.Viewz Remix) 77BPM 4:44 .. People offered to pay for his singing lessons and others begged on their knees for him to stop his SingStar frenzy because it was and ended up almost killing the immerse beauty of what people perceived as being the essence of Infected Mushroom. (T1) The Infected crew took notice and after some string pulling they got the possibility to include the voice of Jonathan Davis (from KoRn) on a track which would eventually become their new hit (?) single with a suiting music video ready to invade MTV. Some complaints has been that it feels all too inspired by Depeche Mode in the melodic sense and that the fusion of psytrance and metal sounds like a failed soup of hope and ideas to conquer the mainstream market of commercial music, which in all honesty is fusing different styles and making it trendy all the time. Just watch the success Kanye West is getting by fusing together the French Daft Punk electro with his ShitHop. So why shouldn't Disinfected Mushroom get to eat a piece of the global success pie? This is an earworm track to the fullest and I wish them all the luck to achieve their goals to infect the world. (T2) Timo Maas is a legend on his own inside the world of club music. The man has managed to create a lot of house oriented tracks which are getting recognition all over the globe. However, in my opinion most of his tracks are utterly boring and at times much uninspired. The track itself is ok and humps on its road and gives some pleasure as long as a good bass is present because it sounds soft and nice and we don't get to hear the singing theme much. (T3) Adam White's contribution offers a recycled Euro-Trance theme with uplifting spirits and dreamlike state of being. It's funny to hear the contradictory elements of the title tracks suffering with the Perfecto's hopeful and helping hand. It feels as if White's remix takes the suffering singing voice on his melodic shoulders and carries the wounded man like a euphoric gentleman- poetic and honorable in its essence. (T4) XI represents Full On and it sounds cool enough in the dunkadunk FullOfPower remix sense, which I think we've gotten unwillingly used to by now. I think this one lacks a lot but kudos for the smart way of starting the track, I really like the way it lifts us up to a groovy state of mind. (T5) Robert Vadney has chosen to industrialize the track with heavy guitar riffs and a head-banging attitude with computerized and stinging melodic noise. It's some sort of industrial techno'n'metal remix, not sure what to say... Rock on bleep'n'peep twats? (T6) I think we all have a sense of respect for the work of J. Viewz (ex-Violet Vision) has given us throughout the years of playing with different, and maybe at times, more sophisticated music styles. As with the Violet Vision remixes of Cities of the Future and Deeply Disturbed, he/they gives/gave us the most interesting twist on an Infected Mushroom track and this one is no exception. It's different, it's down-tempo and it plays with fusions of lounge and jazz with spices of snobby electronica. Recommendation: Even though a harmonic approach in progression is needed and craved for here, I think this single with its 5 remixes is one of the best I've heard and I'm glad I own it. Shame I forgot to mention Organic Records (2) Especially because of this release and the ChillOut Cd which is maybe the best gathering of vintage psychill thefre is. + for the initiative by O. Rec to rais funds for the 2004 Tsunami victims. It was one of the most destructive in death and damaged and a lot of land areas surroounding the Indian Ocean got hit.. Thailand is turist based so the funding to aid the victimized was given there and many nations like sri lanka didnt get the help they needed. quote from disco: All profits & royalties donated to Tsunami Appeal. i I'm unsure of which fundation recieved the money from the sales of the benefit cd I think it was to a place that didnt get much media attantion, which is a nice thought and as i can remember reading 100% of the overskudd gikk to this case . anyway and most importantly! The music is good all three cd's has charm, even though i was ignorant and too fast dismissed the two other cd's to be poor music. I'm gonna buy one to my sister for christmas she's mentioned long time ago she wanted a copy. + it makes for fine decoration in the livingroom

Yes kudos on that one Ormion, your post was in ma mind with agreement I've had it for a while and it's not the cd you might listen to every day, at least for me its a once in a while and certainly will be subject for entertainment if a special magical evening arrives. Maybe it will totally flip your world : I'm sure it will! .. Im not totally sure but there is something in the melodies that sort of is the main Ozmali touch (and melodies / emotions are hard to make for many, i have heard .. ) which i'm not enitirly in sync with, yet(?) though it does however feel in psync . else the album is f'ing amazing for it's entertainment value. for me these sorts of mushytellings with spaceships in jungles and what not they, the talanted artists creates out of their creative mindz are the fundation for the attraction towards weird psytrance .. i would hope to be able to catch Ozmali live some day, i'm sure their show(music) roxer harder (faster scoo .. ) Fragletrollet comes to mind though it has more of the intensity with amazing races and beats/basslines. And some dramatic scenes of total madmness in crazy, so much it becomes maybe too much. anyway, Ozmali and Fragletrollet are part of filling an important gap in the psychedelic trance market. viva la mexico!

Kata.Rei 7:38 (T1) In a forest far away close enough to be seen with eyes closed, a man calls on mysterious subtle forest sounds and in total peace as they pass your feet in a soft and delightful sluggish manner. The tempo is for comfort, and the background score feels shushed and well balanced to compliment the beautiful melody work. (T2) Beats gain some weight and insects please your ears to bring giggles and smiles of awe and amazement. The birds call upon the aliens for landing and the deep dripping drops flow through caves of clean and moist darkness to create the mystery we all depend on. A voice speaks of strange tokens of orgasmic notions while the forest becomes alive in all its glory and pride with wind and falling nuts. (T3) A funny jumping elf steps in awkwardly trying to solve a puzzle he set up for himself. For who is to say self made puzzles are easy to solve when wooden sprinkles are flowing in the stream of minor unstable confusion with high technological electric dust floating in the fuzzy air? (T4) Melodies starts to play with the mind, the mood is prankster like while being light on tippy-toes, dancing around in a space ballet of decibels and door cranks. Monkeys scream their laughter to lighten the strange static mood. (T5) The ding and dongs roughen the vibe by implanting heavier beats that walk like elephants on a warrior path of wisdom and affirmatives, while squeaking birds and snakes joins their trail to achieve higher knowledge of the jungle they breathe. Flutes play by the insects' sign and the call of Shiva begins to melt. The mood creeps on strange walls while the elephants raise their trunks to signal Kali of their presence. Where "you and I are going to spend the rest of our life" (T6), so that the trippy patterns might appear in a holier temple of laser guns and female protection. The drift is steady and the ride is hefty, what one wants to expect is inside glass tubes and hermetic jars of stained smell and cool loops that takes you on a different ride that might shimmer your head slightly to the right. Crickets alerting of pleasant and strange moods while the effects trances the stomp in weirdness and comfort. (T7) The beat gets a gentle pat on its back to slow its confused pulse down to a centered stage and the rattling of the shore stones softly caresses your twinkling toes, while birds play their alien signalizing tunes to direct their flight into a star which can seem so far. Keep on pumping and stomping to reach that higher ritualistic dimension of Mother Nature! (T8) There isn't any bullshit left, they're fresh out of that ... The ultimate goal? Maybe world peace and love in tribal rhythms. (T9) Harsher times of splitting atoms has arrived, a craving for chocolate crickets to feed on the everlasting hope is swirling in a demented cloud. The sprinkling rain feels pleasant on the skin and the splashing on blushed cheeks feels like a fresh breeze sent to me by a computerized wizard from Amsterdam’dam’da’dam. (T10) As the tension again builds and creeps, a movie theme comes in to deliver a script on how to make the evil dead, and deranged tales of drum'n'roll inside the world of Cimmeria in some cosmic tones land us on planet bliss where one can sit down, relax and dry off sweat made through ritual dancing in the Ozmali forest. Recommendation: What is there to say? Ozmali as I’ve read is a duo team based live project from Holland with a reputation of really providing the dance floor with an experience out of these bushes. Only one of them is responsible for this mixedtogether’album release and it was released on the self titled ‘independent’ label also named Ozmali. They must really dig the word Ozmali. None the less!! This release is filled with strange jungle rhythms with tribal attractions and space like noise for the curious ones. This is an album that floats as one mixed DJ-set as it was recorded in a seamless mix, which gives it a lot of ‘right now and real’ character. Some feelings that the album comes off as a tad incomplete is present but not enough to shy away from its marbles. Regarding it being a mix-release, I think that Ozmali – Forest Fusion manages to give people a chance to play their favorite tracks on their own decks if that is their wish. If you're after some new blood that delivers trippy stuff between shaking trees and flowing bushes, you should defiantly check this one out because it delivers something special and psychedelic - that's for sure.
