  1. would just like to say thanks, for all you have contributed to this forum and the psy and ambient scene over the years. it saddens me and others that you will no longer be making the great music you do, but when the passion dies, then the music usually dies with it, so good for you to quit on top. and the fact you have always given most of your music away, and have never really had any returns, sais alot about how dedicated you are to bringing the vibe to the people, through these selfless actions. would be cool if someone could release your latest work as a thank you for your contributions, (hint hint suntrip/dat ) we should all make a commitment to buy it from you, just to say thanks. i wish you good luck on everthing you do from now on. and hope that one day the vibe may return, as we need more people like yourself in this scene, and on this great planet we live on. am listening to your latest works as i am writing, and loving it. thanks
  2. i have 4 tracks total of 249 mb is that all of them? sounding fantastic though i think dat records after bpc is released should release this as a thankyou to jikkenteki for all he has contributed to us over the years? what do you guys reckon? and we should all make a commitment to buy a cd, so there are no losers only winners on the project if i had the money i would do it

  14. you could try my end of the world also 10 years ago we used to have a thriving scene here in new zealand, with alot of artists producing, and partys etc now its absolutley dead with almost no activity whatsoever. australia is much better with artists still producing, but outside northern rivers new south wales (nimbin, byron bay) hardly nothing, but australia does have lots of labels, with artists, but alot of foreign artists on australian labels

  22. just got this from paddy and mike. saw these guys a few weeks ago in auckland, by far the best live show of any genre i have ever seen, and you guys who know me thats saying alot!! they played alot of old stuff and alot of new, then they went psy!! my god have never seen anything like it, puts most artists today to shame, how its really done live, and the passion on their face. cannot describe don't any of you guys miss their live peformance when they your way later this year. am flying to australia just to see them again. please please support them and buy their albums, as these guys are still at the forefront of electronic scene, and they are kiwis, makes me so proud. have never done a review before but when this comes out, might just have to. and i am not joking about them live, a sight to be hold, will leave you spell bound, i had people with me not even into the scene who were blown away and the peformance was free in the street!! put on and paid for by the auckland city council!! enjoy and greets from the south p Kia Ora Paddy and Mike here with our first newsletter for 2009. ^$&%#! Can you believe it's almost May?? This year seems to be rocketing along... We hope it's been treating you as well as it has us: we have had a pleasantly cruisey start to the year, with only a handful of shows and a couple of festivals so far. We haven't been resting on our laurels though, and are proud to announce the imminent release of Rhythm, Sound And Movement, a collection of remixes of tracks from Rude Mechanicals. Some of our favourite artists from around the world have stepped up to the challenge of tweaking the originals: Bluetech, International Observer, Simon Flower, Patch, Kerretta, Friends Electric and many more. The full track listing and release details are below. You can check out the tunes in full at www.tinyurl.com/pbatlastfm or most of them are also up on our www.myspace.com/pitchblacknz. You can either buy the 14-track CD from one of the online stores below, or if you are one of those thoroughly modern interweb peeps who prefers a download, you can get a surgically-enhanced 20-track ultra augmented bumper edition online!! On Monday, we will be sending you a download link via EatDigital to a special remix that is not being released anywhere else, just to say thanks for being on our mailing list. To celebrate the new release, we are heading across to Australia in June for some shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, and then swiftly over to the West Coast of the USA for a handful more. All these dates are below, we'd love to see ya! We will also be heading to the UK and Europe in October, so keep an eye out for us and we'll keep you updated closer to the time. Enjoy the tuneage, we look forward to seeing you on the dancefloor sometime soon! Mike and Paddy Rhythm, Sound And Movement - Rude Mechanicals Remixes 1. 1000 Mile Drift - International Observer 2.
