okay, to set up your bittorrent client you need to open ports on your router. How to do that should be explained in your router manual or somewhere on the web. Usually you just need to type the ip adress of the router in your web browser (usually 192.168.1.1, but that can differ from router to router). then you follow the setup instructions. Probably you have done that already. I would set up ports 53535-53545 for bittorrent, both UDP and TCP. You need to change the port in your bittorrent client to 53535 too then. If you use Windows XP SP2, you have to increase the max number of tcp connections, because in WinXP SP2 there is a so called "trojan blocker" which is supposed to slow down trojans but can also slow down your p2p traffic... You can do that with the little program "XP antispy". If you use a firewall too, you need to set it to allow Bittorrent unlimited access to the network. Furthermore you need to give some upload. if your upload is limited to zero, you wont get any download probably... this is to keep away leechers who just download but never upload anything. Maybe this little guide will help you... http://www.slyck.com/news.php?story=493

I liked the fast style of mixing. Couldnt find any major flaws in it. And the track selection is just kickass, you even used some tunes I used in my recent dark psy mix which means you have a good taste in music ... in the end track contradictions get kinda hurried suddenly (as you realize you have not to exceed the 80 minutes maybe? ) ... I'd love to hear more of Osom-Osmotrix for example. But then again, nice mix, I couldnt do this better at all

I will download the second mix. The tracklist looks awesome, absolutely.

Nice intro on lost communications, very atmospheric, did you use Spectrasonics Atmosphere for the ambience? Very hypnotic tune then. I have to say I really liked it because it made me listen further in a way. I would say though that this is sounding very low, maybe some more hi frequencies to clear it up a little? But then again, it supports the hypnotic nature of the tune. Nerve assault has some nice ideas in it but needs work on the synths. The techy dark style however is my cup of tea. You should watch out for your mastering but you're getting some distortions, try to use a limiter on some sounds. Big Brained Beasts starts off in an awesome way, so dark and obscure... nice! This is great forest night trance. Again nice percussion, again very low end. I'd improve the sound quality of your synths (maybe with better synths) and leave the rest how it is. Halo's is awesome in terms of atmosphere too. Damn hypnotic and dark tune. I love it. Some of the synths are a little harsh again, watch out for distortions. Rating: Lost Communications: 7/10 Nerve Assault: 6/10 Big Brained BĀ®easts: 8/10 Halo's: 7/10 Keep it up ~

spacemonkey and Manuser, thanks a lot for your feedback. It's really encouraging to me

Hey folks, Here's a new track I've made... perhaps one of the hardest Cybernetika tunes out there ... I call this style "end of the world Psy". You will see why when listening It's a dark nighttime raver with lots of atmosphere, harsh FX, dirty acidlines and a pounding industrial rythm @152BPM. Any of you who liked my tune "Chaosphere" wont be disappointed Name: Dimorphic Blackcell Length: 10:12 Bitrate: 192kbps Filesize: 14MB The link: Download Cybernetika - Dimorphic Blackcell

thanks for the recommendation. sounds awesome so far!

- Nice percussion with lots of variation. - Some of the sounds are a little noisy/distorted. I'd make the sound cleaner. Maybe try to use a deNoise plugin or something like that. - Your track tells a nice story, it never felt too long to me. - Good use of the sample, creates atmosphere. "Gaia, the mother" ? I like it. - Sometimes there is clipping of some elements. Be careful with the phasers and flangers, they sometimes cause some unwanted clipping. - IMO You should redesign that chainsaw type lead, I dont really like it. As said, this track has a nice atmosphere, maybe it could even be improved with some more "ups" and "downs" in the story.. Otherwise, it's quite cool stuff. Keep it up

Hi Some of you might know my older track "Zero Manifesto"... I kinda picked the bones of this old lady, trying to improve it a little I dont want to waste any more words but saying: This is hard mindfuck Psy for the demented souls Title: Zero Manifesto (2005 re-version) Lenght: 8:18 Filesize: ~12MB Bitrate: 192kbps Equipment used: FL Studio 5, ReFX Vanguard, Linplug Albino, Spectrasonics Atmosphere, etc. The link: http://www.cybernetika.de/cybernetika_-_ze...re-version).mp3 Enjoy any of you who wondered what I did to the track I posted recently ("phase shift"), the release was kinda rushed and I think this track is much more important now to comment on

Sorry, I gotta take the track down again, I want to work on it further, the release was kinda rushed. If you want to review a track of mine, do so here: http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=27615

Can somebody post some links to nice DJ mixes?
Cybernetika replied to Tatsu's topic in General Psytrance
I agree with Rain. This might sound arrogant (I really dont mean it), but once you have got a good sound system and have gotten a little into terms such as mastering, specially the frequency ranges, you can hear the difference. Of course it's also a matter of which encoder is used. On my old sound system I couldnt really hear the difference, now I think I would be able to tell the difference between 192 and 128. That doesnt mean that I cant enjoy 128. I often listen to the di.fm radio which is in 92kbps, and I still enjoy the music a lot -
Hey mate, sorry for the late reply, didnt have much time the last week... all the phasered hats are nice, but a little too dominant compared to the rest of the tune. I demand a little more mid-range action. It's really wicked how you increase the speed and intensity @ 1:30-2:00.. Sounds a little like IDM, but definately darker than most. It's one of these strange tunes I love despite their wierdness and noisiness (same with Osom - Over Game).. it's not very accessible but very detailed and elaborate. At first listen kinda strange, but you are then rewarded with funny details when taking a second listen. Nice job

Nice Daniel, veeery nice

Just got to listen to a really awesome Goa-ish track which is so damn driving. I absolutely love it and though I gotta share it with you The artist is called Formosus Go to this page: http://www.mikseri.net/artists/?id=46964 there are 2 tunes available for download. The awesome track I'm talking about is called "Vibration" ... Prepare for hi-energy Goa Now it's your turn. Have you got a recommendation you want to share with us? A really good tune by a very talented producer that is available for free? Show them here please!

Spectra - Pyramids came to my mind first.

Yeah, why not. The danger of someone voting for one option all the time is not too high since you have to be registered and logged in to vote. Including the genre in the poll would be too much IMO.

If you don't understand the Shape and Pronounce of powerful Alphabet C, please dont post such nonsense in this thread.

Hiya, just been messing around with some synths + kickass audio destruction plugins (E-Phonic LoFi, SupaPhaser, Gat'R, etc.)... The result is a dark and hard Psy stomper for the night time. The track is called "Combative" but you can also call it "extreme Phaser&Flanger abuse" I know it's not perfect... I'll continue with it when I got a new comp which can handle more cpu load. Title: Combative Length: 7:56 Filesize: ~11MB Bitrate: 192kbps Equipment used: Linplug Albino, ReFX Vanguard, Spectrasonics Atmosphere, Sonicbytes Gat'R, dfx Buffer Override, and many more The link: http://www.cybernetika.de/cybernetika_-_combative.mp3 Enjoy! Feedback appreciated

The intro rules. Good atmosphere. Maybe its a little long tho. Liking the heavy bass and kick then. Very stomping. Nice. You got nice percs at 4:40. Nice synths in the end. However the tune is a little lengthy. Maybe a little more interchange? Probably good if you change the bassline and the rythm in some parts. Anyway, good tune, well produced

Faar too cheezy for me. Every time I hear another one of these horrible supersaw leads, I want to scream in terrible agony. But tastes differ ... I'm just pissed off by the tons of so called "trance" releases that sound all the same. Where's the innovation?
-
Well, they've just been put onto the site. It's usually a few days/weeks delay until they're all available in the onlineshops. Since they can be found at DC++ already I assume theyre finished, though a release of 8 albums at once is unusual.

w0000t, a Terminator album! good god!! Many thanks sir, now I'll spend my last money

Most of you probably know this track as the remix by Green Nuns of the Revolution which was featured on one of the "destination Goa" samplers. However, there appears to be a different version of it: the original version. Strange thing about this version is that I can't find anything about it, it seems like it hasnt been released anywhere. But ... I listened to it on the di.fm Goa/Psy stream, where the original version has been played instead of the Green nuns mix (btw. I know that Green Nuns ARE Tufaan)... So the differences between these versions are neglegible, but I still have to say I liked the original version much more because its very raw and dirty, which I like . The problem is, my rip of it is only 96kbps, any chances to get a hi-quality/cd release of this one? Oh, and if you want to laugh, I just found my first remix attempt of it, maybe one year old, never finished because I couldnt make it sound good. Anyway, its more of a remake than a remix ... http://www.cybernetika.de/probe.mp3 Anyway, can you help me with this one?
