Didnt really use it as stepfilter before. Theres one problem with it, the automation doesnt really work (at least not in Fruity 5). But it has a great sound.
-
For more complex filtering I use the antares filter: http://www.antarestech.com/products/filter.html very interesting thingie

Hiya, Long time since I've been here last time So here's a new track I just finished. It can be categorized as some kind of Full-On Psytrance. A bit more melodic than the usual Psy stuff I make, but still quite driving (147BPM). Length: 7:46 mins Bitrate: 192kbps Filesize: ~ 11MB Equipment: Fruity Loops 5, ReFX Vanguard, Linplug Albino Here's the Link: >>> Download Cybernetika - Shark Enjoy it, and please give some feedback

If youre looking for the "Industrial side" of Psy, I can recommend you: Fungus Funk Entropy Penta PPS Project The Delta X-Dream (only the album "irritant") Hujaboy (not really techno-ish but extremely dark and atmospheric) You might enjoy the compilation "Nocturnal Imprints" too

Cybernetika replied to N,N-dimethyl tryptamine's topic in General Psytrance
I listen on my computer... I've got the M-Audio Delta Audiophile, A noname Amp (my weakest link, to be changed soon), and the Magnat Victory 80 Speakers (http://img.idealo.de/folder/Product/270/8/...tbild_gross.gif) -
Hahaha, thanks for the info. But actually I still need to protect my last remains of good taste
-
Sounds very tight to me. Maybe a bit muffled but that might be the audio compression. I love the way it builds up, especially the acidline starting at 2:35... Transforms into enchanting Downtempo Goa with lots of atmosphere... instantly felt the magic surrounding this. How do you do it?

IMO a very good album, IM once again demonstrate their incredible skills in producing effective and round tracks, of course with their very unique touch, but I think Converting Vegetarians was still better. Lets say 8.5/10 points.

first of all, I'd suggest you have a look at this site: http://www.musictheory.net/ - they can explain it better than I To play a simple major chord, go up 4 halftone steps from the base note and then again 3 steps. For example, C - - - E - - G ... if you want to play a minor chord, just lower the middle note by one halftone, that makes 3 steps and 4 steps: C - - Eb - - - G hope that helped you already

*reviving the topic* If youre interested I made a quite psychedelic electronica/breakbeat tune some time ago: "Earth Signal", download here: http://www.cybernetika.de/cybernetika_-_earth_signal.mp3 Enjoy

Hi! Another Cybernetika Tune is finished This one has been born out of picking over the bones of an old project which was in fact the first Goa track I've made... I changed a lot on this one and made it (hopefully) epic, spacey and driving. This one is running at increased speed (150BPM) and features lots of melodies in the Oldschool-Goa Style, spaced out pads and raving synths. And yes, it IS meant to be hypnotic, hence a bit monotonous, it contains tons of layers so it sounds a bit muddy. And it is meant to be epic because of its length I am quite unsure about the sound here... I dont know what I have to cut in order to make this sound less distorted in the end. Anyway, I hope you still enjoy it Title: Silver Blue Aurora Length: 12:34 mins Filesize: 17MB Bitrate: 192kbps Equipment: FL Studio 5, ReFX Vanguard, Spectrasonics Atmosphere, Linplug Albino. What is the worst Remix you've ever heard? I'm talking about a remix that destroyed everything about the original song and thats completely insulting the creator of the original... Psy is favored but any other genre allowed as well My vote goes to: Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit (Beat Hackers Remix) It's so bad it hurt my ears for days. Even though this one has been covered a million times (and no one managed to capture the spirit of the original), this one is to me without doubt the worst. They took the original recording and just dubbed it over a completely stupid beat. It doesnt fit at all, its out of place, everything. Something even a newcomer producer with a little sense for rythm can do much better than that... even worse: with shit like that they even make money Now its your turn, what's the worst remix you have ever heard?

using voice samples from movies...legal issues..
