  1. Thank for the feedback xiphiaz Oh, looks like we've hit my traffic limit for the first time :phear: The link is down until march, sorry. I did not expext such a huge response .. I try to provide another mirror, until then you can grab the file with bittorrent: http://www.ektoplazm.com/tracker/torrents/..._-_2007.torrent Thanks go to basilisk for this
  2. Hey, nice track! Indeed very dreamy. Loving the floating melody synths! Really sweet! The rythm is also very well done. Though I think it needs a little more clarity in the lower-midrange. It's not really muddy, but maybe you can just solve it by turning down the pad a bit. Or turn up the upper frequencies a little, I think the relation between melody/pads and the percussion is a little "wrong" Good job!
  3. Thanks people! Cool site at ektoplazm! Much appreciated, Basilisk! So now I got a torrent aswell
  4. Oh my god, I just came home and read this awesome review. Can't say how thankful I am right now for your track-by-track review, w_lizzard! Much appreciated oh, and I just added a cover artwork

  6. get mg trigger gate: http://www.mgaudio.de/modules/main.php it works like the gate in vanguard, except you can route all audio to it. a very simple but totally effective tool for gating, and its for free.
  7. I dont think I have anything to criticize.. mmm, nice track with a good layering and a great mixing. Keep it up!
  8. My bittorrent download just completed, so nevermind. This is great stuff overall. Nice production quality, good synths and groovy basslines. 100 years old - solid sound. Works as a morning/twilight track. But I think its not catchy enough. The "wow" moment is missing you know? Aqua - Could be a real stomper. I like the kinda dark tone and the rolling bassline. Nice melody fragments. Very good track. Au dela.. - Great intro. The album is getting more and more twisted, south african sound is what this track can be called I think. Some elements need a little more balance in the mix, otherwise good. Fractals - I dont know but I think this could be taking the dancefloor by storm. Nice! Le Grand - The bassline is really rolling here. Overall a nice sound, sounds very professional. Plasma - A bit more laid back here. Nothing to complain about, very solid track that would fit excellent as set opener. Pod Racer - Wow, a huge change. This has by far the most interesting melodies. Reminds me of Shift and Artifakt, take that as a huge compliment. Some melodies are a little over the top in terms of levels but that can be fixed. You can go far with this. Secret Goblins - Haha, nice idea to play with a Hallucinogen tune. Entertaining. Tsunami - Again driven by a great bassline, this one is some nice melodic tune with enough energy to get the crowd moving. Thumbs up. Zarbyland - A little more misterious towards the end. As you said, your style is not dark but a little obscure from time to time. Overall, a very good sounding fullon/twilight trance album. Thank you for sharing it for free!
  9. Sounds very interesting. I am trying to download this file over bittorrent but it says it has no seeders. SEED PLS! Or can you upload it somewhere else, like rapidshare.de ?
  10. Hey mate, Pro: Nice glitchy sounds. Good bassline this time. Twisted and unique as always. Very funky indeed this time. Good use of "oldschool" synths. Contra: As chatnik said, a little muddy sound. This is pure sci-fi madness again, great job
  11. Hey, this is my new track "Valkyrie", which is obviously WIP, im still trying to finish the last 2 or 3 minutes, maybe a little more. Yes, it is some kind of experimental to me. The 160 bpm give it some kind of hardcore character. which is totally intended. Otherwise, it has a ultratrippy, atmospheric character, but it feels kind of industrial and noisy at the same time. I would really like to hear some opinions, to see if it works for you, or if i should trash it immediately. the link: http://www.cybernetika.de/cybernetika_-_va...WIP_preview.mp3 (265kbps mp3) enjoy!
  12. Still FL's piano roll is a little more intuitive, and you got some helpers so you can quickly set up some patterns or just play around.
  13. My opinion since I tried out both programs: Fruity-Cubase sound quality: 1-1 The sound processing works exactly the same way. functionality: 0-1 Cubase has more advanced functions than fruity. Fruity IS very powerful and often labeled a beginner program which is simply wrong, but Cubase has some advantages mostly in detail. You can edit sound clips very detailed and you can split fx channels (that is why sidechaining in FL is such a pain in the ass). accessibility: 1-0 To put this short: Cubase is complicated, if not overcomplicated. Fruity is much easier to start with. workflow: 1-0 The most important criteria to me. Simple editing steps take much more time in Cubase than in Fruity. I dont want to be a scientist, I want to get quick results. The piano roll in FL is pure genius, thats why I prefer Fruity big time. overall: 3-2 It's after all a matter of taste. Get fruity if you want to put your ideas into sound fast. Get cubase if youre more into working on details and got plenty of time to learn your program.
  14. i have plugged in both speakers and headphones and I'm checking all the time if what I'm producing on speakers sounds good on headphones too. A good track has to sound good on all kinds of speakers, that's what I'm trying to reach here.
  15. Mwahaha! K-BAN!! I cant believe to see you here! Nice to see all the old friends coming here And of course, thanks to all for your nice comments about the track
  16. I think gated reverb or reversed reverb is the thing here. But I have no idea how to make it, if you figure it out somehow, please enlighten me
  17. Hey, thanks guys for your feedback Synogen, I'll play in Germany in february, watch this: http://www.goatrance.de/goabase/party/details/27627
  18. Hey, can anyone help me identify this track? http://rapidshare.com/files/5924094/Track09.mp3.html The style is full-on, what is that track with the voice sample playing at 4:50? Thanks in advance!
  19. Hey, here is a new track by me. "Infinite Corridors" is something I wanted to do for a long time. Now finally, after a long night of work I managed it. This track is much like the image of a trip beyond imagination. The infinite corridors are tunnels through dimensions, with constantly changing shapes and structures. Get on this journey and experience the infinity of human mind. download link: http://www.cybernetika.de/cybernetika_-_in...e_corridors.mp3 the track is 256kbps mp3, made in FL6 with z3ta, Albino, Atmosphere, StylusRMX and Vanguard. As you might hear this track is quite monotone and not changing a lot. I did this on purpose to give it the hypnotizing character of infinity. The sound is a little muddy on intention because it had to get that kind of wall-of-sound character. Now comes my question: Do you like it? Or is it too boring? Comments appreciated!
  20. Hey, This is my new track called "Medical/Science-Complex" and is actually a remix of a track from the soundtrack of the awesome computer game System Shock 2, but then developed to a unique Full-On Psy track. A friend labeled it as "hardcore", and I have to agree with him. This is 150BPM, straight inyourface, but with lots of layers, roaring guitars, weird robots & alien FX and a fragile melody, you get the idea, the typical Cybernetika story. It's rather finished in a hurry so I'm open for suggestions. Let me give you the link and let you decide. http://www.cybernetika.de/cybernetika_-_me...nce-complex.mp3 320 kbps mp3, made in FL6 with Albino and much more. Enjoy!
  21. It's a pity I didnt get to post much in the past weeks, I'm kinda busy with studying for university at the moment. I simply dont have the time anymore to be active on my formus, sadly. I try to start a comeback with my new track
  22. Great job! I've been digging your track in the Psynews Mix, and now you come up with a full album, really good stuff. Thumbs up!
  23. Hey mate remember me from tranceaddict? Sooner or later all the psy heads find their way to psynews I like the track, it has a lot of "classical" trance influences. The percussion is excellent all the way. 2:20 and the track is picking up some drive, the groove is excellent. Evil melody in the background, however I'm not really digging it, I dont know. 3:20 new square synth is wicked, now it all starts to make sense. 4:14 is kicking! I like how you bring back the main theme and then towards the end build down the track, lowering the cutoff on the synth. Sweet. Overall, a very good track, nice production, great synths, good groove, I cant really criticize much. Keep it up!
