Who is making the best 303 sounds at the moment. Love them on Cosmosis's last cd but is there anybody else that makes good ones that is recent? I suppose nobody will beat "rock bitch mafia".

HAs made some real bangers for sure, saw goa gil in the 90's and his set consisted alot of his tracks. New cd is good esp updays, awesome tracks, would love to see him live. Nice to see him back, hope he gets some real support. Puts most dark trance to shame.

They went downhill after ritualdance. The last one audiopathick ? Was not good.

Yeah he was a cool guy. Had the pleasure of meeting him a few times in Japan and he was always a couple of steps ahead of the other guys. Sad to hear he passed away but he was always about having a good time and that is how he lived his life and Japan was a cool place to have a good time. Still have all my DATs he gave me back in 99. RIP dude!

I heard/saw Koxbox play for a good 2 hours in a forest in Nagano Japan around 98/99. Could have said that was that was the most outrageous sound i have ever heard.

I was there from 97-2000. Japan/Tokyo was heaving psytrance back then. I was lucky I caught it right at the beginning and when I left it was Big-real big. The Yokohama bay hall was the place for sure, now long gone sadly.Vision Quest parties at the Yokohama Bay Hall were the bomb for sure. Chikuya parties on Nijima island-wow what a trip and dancing on Mt Fuji with hundreds of others was awesome! The key is to delve into the scene cause most of it is pretty hard to track down but I am sure it is still there. Have a look at my facebook site for past photos and flyers to see exactly what was going on. I would be asking the Brain busters people what is happening. Also ask Sharaku and Hamase on my facebook friend sites what is happening, I'm sure they will tell you.6D sounds look like they throw mad mad parties. Japanese like to keep everything low key so suss it out and you will find. Once you have been to a japanese party and made some friends then it will be an amazing adventure. Have fun. I like Karahana for the old school vibe Check out the 52 min Ozora movie on their website-worth checking out. The Samothraki double dvd is great for capturing that vibe from 2000-2002 prob the best years in the scene imo Bom!!

I think the scene had a lot to do with the fact that musshies were legal-when they were made illegal things changed (2001 ?)

I was in Japan from 97-01. Fuck it was magic back then , it would be interesteing to see what's its like now but i wouldn't hold my breath.

Yeah this is a cool cd-not quite dark trance, loads of nice structure, loads of nice psychedleic music and a little bit of a groove going on. Probably the best Parvarti recs I have so far.
