  1. At first "sight", this reminded me , but it's different...Sorry, I don't know how this comes from, not from the planet Earth. Maybe from the Pleiades?
  2. Do you rather mean ? (maybe raise the pitch of the kick drum even more?)
  3. Take an SH-101, or Lush-101 demo. In your VCO, select only white noise. In your VCF, use a low value for filter cutoff, take resonance to 100%, and assign VCF to ENV1 at 50%. In your VCA, assign it to ENV2. In ENV1, leave Attack at 0, raise Decay and Sustain to 20%, and leave Release at 0. In ENV2, leave Attack at 0, raise Decay to 40%, and leave Sustain & Release at 0. This is what we have so far. Now, open an audio application such as GoldWave. Go to "Effets » Pitch", and raise the pitch to 140. This takes the the kick higher. Then, open "Effect » Filter » Equalizer", and set: 60Hz » -5dB 150Hz » 0dB 400Hz » -5dB 1000Hz » -5dB 2400Hz » -5dB 6000Hz » -5dB 15kHz » -5dB This makes the kick louder. Optionally apply the compressor and here's the final result. Please note this applies to , but if you want the kick to apply to , you need to increase the pitch even more. It is not the way Etnica has done it, but it is the way I would do it with what my hardware and software permit
  4. For two people to work, they need to know their stuff very very well, so that when they gather, they don't spend their time reading manuals, fixing stuff, tweaking the computer, reinstalling apps, or searching the web. A meeting has to be 100% dedicated to creativity. When gathering, both have to bring new stuff (samples, clips, sequences, etc...). I never stop learning, computer music is such a big topic...
  5. Nice synth. The "Ambiant pads" samples starts somehow like Dew Point from Oforia
  6. How would you create this bass sound? It sounds like a supersaw, maybe detuned with a phaser effect...
  7. Fair enough. Even for goa trance artists, some of their tracks/albums are psychedelic, some are not (e.g. Total Eclise "Violent Relaxation" vs. "Access Denied"). OK, we all agree.
  8. What do you think? When I listen to these genres, I wouldn't tag them as "psychedelic" like I would for some wicked goa trance tunes with SFX and sounds coming back and forth from all over the place. Share your thoughts...
  9. I like the effort and inovation but it's too experimental to my ears
  10. This is true. Maybe 10 sounds at a time, but more, over the whole tune.
  11. Hello, When I listen to this sequence, I can only imagine the number of tracks the artist used? Do you have any idea? It looks like below 32 tracks, it gets tricky to mix all these instruments!
  12. Do you know this tune? And do you know a mix that starts with this tune? Thanks!
  13. I have changed the original link. I don't know why it took you to a French site or tried to display a captcha...Now, I'm using a Russian file hosting site. Let's see!
  14. Quite weird, I just clicked here to test myself, and I got the download prompt. Here's an alternative download link. Crossing my fingers
  15. I have created a similar sound with NWBass but I can still hear the difference (digital sound vs. analog, mainly). There are synths that have their own characteristics (ie. SH-101 / MC-202), and you can always tell the difference between the original and a copy
  16. I only heared this tune in a mix, never on a CD, so it's not a famous one, but it's a pretty good one !
