  1. Hello, This bass sound is famous, and I'd like to know what synth is used to create this sound, and with what settings. It's probably a member of the sawtooth family, but then, what instrument? If you could reproduce it on your end and share with us, that would be awesome. Thanks!
  2. Thanks. I watched the video. Although I didn't understand what he said, I could see the tracks organized in Ableton. I don't know a way of doing that in Cubase, though because Cubase has no columns... I had a look at the guy's web site, he has a demo of a psytrance tune for Ableton.
  3. Thanks. Do you mean the knobs of the NanoKontrol? Or the virtual knobs on Cubase with the mouse? I saw Cubase has a hardware controler available. It looks interesting. Does your whole mix fit on one file? You have all your tracks one after the other in the file? How do you manage transitions? Thanks again for the information!
  4. Ok. I'd love to read someone else's experience using Cubase for live performance
  5. OK, what about Cubase for Live? How to use it with linear tracks to go from one tune to another in a smooth way?
  6. Hello, What software/hardware/gear would/do you use for live performance acts? Goa Trance uses so many different instruments playing different melodies and effects at the same time, most of the job has do be done by a machine! What do you use for live P.A? How do you work? Please share your tips, thoughts, and experience! Thanks,
  7. Thanks. I listened to these artists on YouTube but I didn't find the lost track
  8. Eh eh... I was just watching this very video, looking at the gear the guys are using (JD-800, SH-101, Alpha Juno2, Juno 106, Midiverb4...). It's not this video. The video I'm searching is an indoor video, shot in a TV studio, on MCM music channel. Thanks dude
  9. Hello, I remember watching in the 90's Transwave live @ MCM Session. In this live performance act, they play . I searched for this live act on the web but I wasn't able to find it. Does someone have it? It's a pretty nice video... Thanks,
  10. Thanks. It's another artist and tune. I have developped the sample a little bit, my way, LOL. Please bear with me, it's amateuristic, it's done fast and it's done out of memory (from the 90's). Here's the new version. Does it remind an artist and tune? When we find out and compare, you're going to laugh at my sample, eh eh...
  11. Hello, Do you know which track starts this way? It's not exactly the same, but I tried in Cubase to copy it as much as I could! Thanks,
  12. But you can hear the difference, and I want it to sound really similar
  13. Hello, I'm trying to reproduce SH-101 sound on my computer, and I'm wondering what VSTI (and settings) get closest to some famous SH-101 sounds such as . What do you think? Thanks!
  14. Imba and Padmapani: Quite nice (although Padmapani's sequence is more trance than psytrance IMHO )
  15. Interesting. Makes sense. Knob, potentiometer, slider...When you go from one sound to another on an analog synth, you have to reset all your knobs using a note pad maybe... Can't remember all knob positions for a specific sound.
  16. That one is a little tricky, as the sound is covered by other SFX and it's a little low...Gotta repeat the tune portion a few times! For the sound itself, it's a TB-303 sort of sound (sawtooth, overdrive) with a delay effect.
