to people posting crap : as you know, i'm held responsible of whats on my forums, towards the french law. so i wont accept any abuses. i was a routing engineer in a telcom company, i have lots of contacts. you may use proxies, but providers always keep logs of what goes thru their servers/routers/proxies in case the police asks them for a serious reason. yes, here it's not serious but one call from me and people at those providers will do me a favor and track you, then shut down your line. This is not a warning, i'll do it asap. if people i know have too much work they'll keep you in store and treat your case later...else they'll make your internet life a hell. let me tell you that i wont tolerate a mess to happen here. if you have a problem with us, just contact me directly here but please let this place quiet. i hope it's clear. mars.

wow you replied 4 minutes after my post ! i forgot to say that when we left, all of the flyers for our party had disappeared. When we arrived my friends thought i had brought too many flyers with me, but there were not enough....this is a good sign )) i'll give a big part of the rest to Roopak for that party in which he'll play next week end in paris, and i'll put the last ones in techno import....hmmm

This Elephant'om party was in fact filled with BooM Records artists. So it was planned ot be outdoors but the uncertain weather conditions made it that we gathered in the caves of a castle pretty far from paris.... i couldn't dance due to a wounded leg/foot so i took the time to visit. the place was incredible : first a big dancefloor like a "L" with the djs/acts in the corner, then a few meters of catacombs, then a long dedalus of caves and small rooms on the left and on the right. some of those rooms were used for stands, bars, others were corners with the main room's sound in it, or simply silent and black, and the last one was a small circular chillout with its own soundsystem. really relaxing. i said hello to many people, put our flyers everywhere and listened : - (Zephyr had played before we arrived) - i don't know the name of the dj that played then, but it was pretty psychotic...too hard for the begining of the night i think. - then Zendaï played : mostly Alien Project / Logic Bomb stuff. Conventional but good. .....and after that, this was the typical style of parties you Belgian people would have loved : - Battle of the Future Buddhas replaced Fractal Glider, originally on the lineup. The Buddhas are totally unknown in france but people won't forget them : they played truly psycho music during 90 mins. it was heavy with lots of psychedelic breaks and melodies..the guys were moving a lot, people enjoyed and shouted. BOTFB sound is not really clear but it gave a very cool touch of underground that made people dancing. hell !! during their act i spoke a bit with MattBoom. I had seen him in Antwerp once. He told me he liked our compil, and......(you'll read later) - at the end of the act, there was a very very linear track. People landed and MattBooM could play all his crazy stuff...it was very very psychedelic. Actually the most psychedelic stuff he has at the moment. so Teleport remix, Come on remix, some Alien projects remixes, Fractal Glider's Chasing Ganesha remix, etc, etc, etc...rhaaaaa..people became nuts !!!! near the end of his set, i was standing in the middle of the dancefloor, amazed by the wonderful ambiance, and a new track started. my friend Ben told me "this is on out compilation"....and indeed i recognized Agalactica's Awkward Lightrate !! with the huge soundsystem we had in those caves, the track sounded like some infected. (actually Matt had told me he would play it because he thought it was awesome. so if you Agalactica guys read me, know that MattBoom plays your track a lot !).... People became nuts again and i was happy. after that Matt could play whatever he wanted, people were mindblown ! The set ended on some pure psy stuff again. we though the climax of the party had passed....but NO ! - Rastaliens started their live act : the first track was a very good psychedelic stomper, people started to smile...and you know what ? it was the least good track of the act ! E.v.e.r.y. single track was a shock. The track were filled with psychedelic sounds, *all the time*, sometimes it sounded like some Infected Mushroom's. The technical acheivement of these guys is incredible. It was SO great ! i was with good friends speaking about their equipment and music and we noticed they played directly some melody on the keyboard (!!!) and that many of the sounds we could hear were really generated realtime by the synths. We were blown away ! you can't imagine....i even tried to dance. The dancefloor was still filled and it was 8AM when they stopped and were applaused. - After that, we had Franco and some other guy from SubMachine records, and they played really minimalistic stuff (mainly MOS). people were hot enough to dance on anything and the party went on. i left because my leg was too painful. So if you Boom records guys read me, i can tell you you did the job 100% well and i think Paris people won't forget you overnight !!!!

Logic Bomb - Hund / Unlimited Artist: Logic Bomb Title: Hund / Unlimited Label: TIP World Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. 7'57" Hund 02. 7'55" Unlimited Review: Hund starts very quickly and hits hard. good bassline, a few noises. Yet there is almost no evolution till 1'20 where you start to hear some notes in the background. Around 2' there is a break and an overlayed smooth melody comes to the foreground clear and pleasant... Expect to smile when you hear that. We smiled a lot when they played this one in London. The big kick+bass restarts with this melody. this sounds cool. When it disappears one minute later, the track develops on a 'vocal samples + huge bassline' basis...there are lots of layers of sounds à la Logic Bomb something happens every 30 seconds so you don't get bored. From 5'30 you feel the melody has to come back, it reappears in the background, and finally you were so well prepared that it makes this second break even more pleasant than the first one. ok this one leaves no chance to pessimists. Unlimited is not that linear but it does not surprise. The very same sounds were used in several tracks (like Mental Poison for example) and there is not such musical creation as in Hund. The track is based on the pressure the rhythmic gives. well i got bored after 3 minutes. I think it must be ok on the dancefloor, especially when a repetitive vibrating sound comes around on and on after 4'30. But THE thing that saves the track is the wonderful break at 5'20. The tone of the bassline goes up, then down again and it gives a new groove. There are lots of changes really fast until the end...but it does not give me a slap in the face as i expected. hrrm we heard so many great tracks by LB in 2001 that this appetizer sounds common compared to them. Nevertheless this EP became really good to my ears after 4 listens. Rating : 7.5/10. Unlimited is average, Hund is wonderful.

Spirallianz - Silver Edition (Part 3) Artist: Spirallianz Title: Silver Edition (Part 3) Label: Global Trance Network Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. Battlecuice 02. Spotrunnerz Review: The ghostbusters of psytrance have just completed their EP trilogy. This one tends to search into new directions : Battlejuice is very soft at the begining. A quiet intro, then the kick starts...but it still looks like an intro. The rhythm remains far behind, and mainly hear strange distorted violin-like lines. I was surprised to hear such a long (2'48) and pleasant intro...then everything breaks and the music becomes far far more powerful, but as the rhythm was already here, you don't feel aggressed. There are some short samples that sound like people shouting behind. Then it becomes more calm but some noises catch your attention before a second break and a new blasting. At the end, the sounds of the begining are mixed with the main music. That is really a very very good track. Spotrunnerz is more like a Delta track at the begining (same instruments). Then it remains linear not overloaded at all with samples. There are some small vocals lines at the begining and the end. It's surprising to hear such a clear track from Spirallianz. Sometimes it makes me think of a slown and stripped down Update 1.0. I like it but less than side A. Overall this is a very good EP. The first two Silver EPs sounded like original Spirallianz frenetic music plus creepy lines, this one is definitely different. Here, it looks like the Allianz has tried to mix their Delta expertise with their Miliz firepower. Spotrunnerz is casual and ok for your home, Battlejuice is a powerful walk of the dead just for you angry DJs! 8.5/10

I had those tracks a long time ago. This is at the edge of Psytrance. This is Trance, actually, but it gives in mind some sparks of psychedelism, so it deserves to be here. Musically speaking, those tracks have a simple rhythmic, yet powerful. Over that, you can hear the typical Sundown melody that was remixed in 96 by Ionizer. It unfolds on and on and makes you happy. The "rock my boat" feeling Stormbringer wrote is mine too. If you still have that EP, just put it under the diamond, relax and move your head while the boat rocks !

i wanted to test something concerning nat/firewall/portdiverting from my job...however i had forgotten to divert the good port and i remotely tweaked the nat config, but when natd reread the conf file, it unexpectedly crashed. then the main routing mechanism was gone, making the server totally deaf concerning the requests from the internet. contrary to what you may have thought, the server was still up and running, but with noone to serve except my private network ) just to say it was my fault. sorry everyone. mars.

Unfortunately for you dewastator, i was working as a routing engineer for some isp last year and i have some contacts. I joined some people at your isp yesterday evening. i gave them all the infos i had concerning you, plus the logs that your visits generated on my server. this can be considered as spam and/or server attacks. Let me tell you that an isp always logs lots of things about custommers (international authorities want that to be able to trace some kinds of abuses), but they can also dig into it... Their data match with mine. You're on some waiting list. There will be no second chance. If people at your isp have too much work, they'll just spy on you a bit waiting for more. If they have nothing to do, they'll specially take care of you for me soon, believe me. If you're on a shared network (like an university), this will just make you untouchable for a while, until the network admins there are aware of what you're doing. Still, you can come here *in peace*. If you have something to tell me, please use my personnal email address. ok ? Regards, unoccupied guy. f. mars.

hé bien non. on avait choisi la date avant que gaia ne donne la sienne, je serai en belgique en tant que co-orga de notre teuf, et de toute façon ça fait longtemps que je ne donne plus d'argent à gaia concept (sauf hier soir). franchement, si il y a des artistes vraiment exceptionnels au festival gaia, vas-y, mais si tu préfères un plateau beaucoup moins cher, super full-on, happy et fluo, alors viens plutôt en belgique. on aura 3 lives, 24 heures de son. on annoncera le teuf officiellement tout bientôt. http://www.goatrance.de/goabase/party_deta...s.php3?PID=7075 hrm no. we had chosen the date before gaia gave the date for its festival, i'll be in belgium as the co-organizer of our party, and anyway it's been a long time i don't give money anymore to gaia concept (except yesterday). honnestly, if there are really unusual artists at the gaia festival, go there, but if you prefer a far less expensive party with super full-on, happy and fluo people, then better go to belgium. we'll have 3 live acts, 24 hours of sound. we'll announce the party officially quite soon. http://www.goatrance.de/goabase/party_deta...s.php3?PID=7075 a+

this is off topic but i won't delete this thread. usually i am very neutral but not this time. i'm going to explain the situation for people not in the know : yesterday in france was the first round to elect france's next president. 2 guys among 16 were selected by people. in 2 weeks, there is a second vote to know the president for sure. eveyone thought Mr Jospin (socialist, current primi minister) and Mr Chirac (gaulist, current president) would be selected and would fight in the second round. however, yesterday, Mr LePen (fascist) got the second rank (17%), after Mr Chirac (20%), and before Mr Jospin (16%)! socialists are totally eliminated from the elections. indeed security in france has become a real concern, and the cadidates who gave the most simplist ideas (left and right extremists) got (too) good scores...too many people believed them, or showed they were unhappy with current politics, and voted for those extremists. do those people have such a bad memory that they have already forgotten what happened in 1933 ? Mr Chirac is probably not the man lots of french people would have chosen in the 'normal scenario', but today, he is the only one that can grant democracy in france as a president. fortunately he is 'said' to win with 80% of the votes, as even socialists called to vote for Chirac and break the rise of fascism...but it was also 'said' that Mr Chirac and Jospin would both reach easily the second round... now this rise of fascism is too dangerous for everyone...this is not the french country i once knew. i'm ashamed to be french today! but this is not only about france. this rise does exist in europe, in the world. last night there were big meetings in paris against fascism. 80% people in france refuse the france that is shown to the world today. i hope we will show it enough for people to remind, and realize what they almost did. yesterday and last night there was also the big annual 'Effervetranse' meeting in a big place in paris. this meeting gathers every people involved into psytrance, no matter what is his/her nationality, colour, religion. this is a major event. lots of organizations and new groups get known, get credit, get united in the name of peace, love, unity, respect. i was there and i saw everyone had had his week end ruined by those elections. we all agreed to do what we could. so, first, I want to encourage every french people here, and everyone in general, to fight fascism before the second round of those elections, *and beyond*. we won't let things go. we will show the world that France will not let fascism rise anymore. we will show Mr LePen that he is not welcome anymore into france's political landscape. we will show we are a fully democratic country. thanks. fabien 'mars' / psynews.

yes i know. thanks. same as JanUa on another forum. i'm going to spend my next week end visiting locations with Anoebis. that message was just meant to try to find other locations, just in case you people know some more.

hmm i dont think it would be really that valuable. that's only one party. if you wanna do an "european campaign" and attend to all festivals besides our party, then it's worth coming, and stay.

Hello everybody. Sorry to disturb you but we need some help : Some of you already know we are organizing a psytrance party on june 29th in Belgium. I'll join Anoebis there this week end to visit some places...but we thought some of you may know a real cool place too. So we are looking for a quite big place (at least 500 people), preferably in the Ardennen mountains, so as to party as much as we want A good place would be a farm or something, so that we can also dance outdoors! If you have been somewhere that looks like that, if you can help, don't hesitate to contact us, we'd be grateful. Thanks. mars@planet-d.net & anoebis@goatrance.com
