Hello everybody. Sorry to disturb you but we need some help : Some of you already know we are organizing a psytrance party on june 29th in Belgium. I'll join Anoebis there this week end to visit some places...but we thought some of you may know a real cool place too. So we are looking for a quite big place (at least 500 people), preferably in the Ardennen mountains, so as to party as much as we want A good place would be a farm or something, so that we can also dance outdoors! If you have been somewhere that looks like that, if you can help, don't hesitate to contact us, we'd be grateful. Thanks. mars@planet-d.net & anoebis@goatrance.com

Joske, i know you're here... hm sorry guys but this is the only way for me to have quick answers from the blond dreaded dj with psycho pyjamas... seriously, do you agree with what i said in the email i sent you a few days ago ? (the placeslist given thru naya, me coming on the 20th) ? i don't like to urge you but i have an overloaded planning, like you, and i need to organize lots of things together, you know. important : if you answer, please use the @ i gave you in my latest email, as the planet-d.net mailserver is dead until at least next week. f+

so COP is Jan Muller from XDream + the Ganguru group. Epic Automata gave the good artists names for Ganguru, but not the good group. Noosphere is in fact Neils Paschen & Eberhart Schulz (the 2 former members of the Delta) indeed it's been a year i haven't seen Willy/Ganguru in paris, so they could be in Japan, i don't know.

Joske i know you're here plz answer my email. it's important and i'm short of time to decide now. actually if you still want to come, my friends can't give you a ride on the 6th, but if i come too with my own car on the 5th, i can bring you back with me. i just need to know what you decide. i have no holidays, so it makes no difference to me, it just depends on you. fab. (to other people, i know doesn't look trance related, but it is, believe me)

.............. : thanks [tom jaimz] : the phtos are remastered, i'm renaming them, they'll be available soon. yes, the delta did exactly what you say.

I was there and i admit friday's party was set on a too small place...in france it's always like that so we enjoyed a lot. and saturday's party was like a dream. i have lots of photos and i felt good vibes about last week end's 2 parties, so i think we'll review them, indeed.

the trading one is a good idea, but i fear soem people will try to trade more... the top10 one is also a good idea, but i fear it will become a second general forum. well that's hard...let's see if children sees this thread.

I have photos from last saturday's Elsewhere party in London, where the Delta played. but i have a problem to name people : i know who is Marcus (the tall one with the beard), but which one is Wayan, and which one is Arne ? There is a blond guy with short hair and a brown guy with long hair.... thanks

i dont like too much complicated names but i admit you guys have a lot of imagination ! this compilation will be number 2, so what can i find on this theme : 'Twice' (i like this one) 'Second layer' 'Double Dose' (hmm only if there are 2 cds) what else? regarding the style of the compils: 'Newcomers' 'Switchback' (i like this one) mars.

hey people i said we would be objective, and not too harsh. we wont delete reviews saying an album is bad. this section is mainly about criticism, indeed. reviews marking an album as 'good' or 'bad' will be kept as long as their content respect the artist and others' reviews. to say it differently, "as long as the review deals objectively with the album on the same page, then the review will be kept" to say it differently again, "i hate this style" or "i have to buy it" or "you guys are...fools" wont stay on the pages. to khogg : don't be afraid and read my previous post. we are very sensitive to people's opinions and we thank them everyday for their support, we owe 99% of them....however some reviews have nothing to do on the reviews section and their posts will be deleted. thats all.
-
ok. not all the reviews but only the crappy ones. what we are going to do : extract all the reviews, read them (20000+ to read) and choose whether they should stay or not. reviews dealing with the above album will be kept. reviews like "i hate this style" or "i have to buy it" or "you guys are...fools" will be deleted. we wont be too harsh. this will happen before the summer.

hello you all know we are very cool with what's written on the reviews and forums, but to some extent we get angry...today children is very angry. so am i. i want to tell some of you that the reviews section aims at REVIEWING albums, not (over)reacting on other reviews, not insulting people, not writing nonsense. please keep in mind that that section is not a cool game on which you can let off stream...on a second degree, this section aims at helping people taking a decision whether to buy (or not) some albums. you know, if the reviews section becomes too bad, people wont come anymore to get an advice, they will only read psyshop's (not so right) comments, and this site will die. i'd rather see one good review, than one good followed by 40 gossips ! till the new reviews system is ready to sort whats good or not, i want you to be as upright as possible and remind what's above. once again this is only dedicated to some of you. some i would have emailed personnally if they had the courage to write their email... they may not mean harm but they eventually do a lot. please understand our point. thanks. f. mars.

'mars' is half of my real family name (indeed, nothing to do with the god of war, or the planet or the chocolate bar..)

Hello You noticed there is no update tonight. This is not our fault : Wanadoo DNS is screwed up. tip1 : Wanadoo is the biggest ISP in France, and unfortunately it is Children and I ISP... tip2 : a DNS is the thing that converts www.psynews.org to 212.27.35.35, the type of address the internet uses to identify anyone. usually there should be a redundant DNS for a big ISP...our ISP has 2 DNS addresses, but on the same hardware....fools. Now things seem ok, but at 4.30am Children is asleep...let's expect he'll upload the update when he gets up in 3 hours...

i'll store only enough for the site to know you're here
-
they probably changed the name at some point. 'crack' and 'kracht' are almost the same....there must be another delirious drug related story about this...unless this is a misunderstanding by phone, something like that. you never know
-
space^madness : its obvious that youre not among the ones who get angry to see so many crappy reviews. cookies are not so dangerous..thay only take a few bytes for each. Protex midget & me1 : same thing. my plan is to make you log in once and then it'll be as before. Chong : yes ! but its not ready now (its in the post-prod todo list) bugbread : i wrote you an email.

eheheh it will look....the same. imagine the same website, but 100% automatic, more functionnal...and there will be some surprises. actually it ill depend on you, to some extent. hem about keeping it underground, it is, but it is les and less...3200 visitors yesterday.
-
Hey guys, it is being coded ! it will come with psynews v2 of the site. some cookies will identify you when you logon. then reviews will get better (at least in the begining) as for the forum, we dont feel like forcing people to register this psynews v2 does exist. its a very big website, lightyears ahead from this one in terms of functionnality. lets be precise : - the news - who we are / faq / what is goa - reviews - incoming - interviews - links - forum (of course) - contest => are ready for beta release (!) - parties => is the seciton i'm hardly coding these days - artists infos (lots of improvements are planned) - favourites - shops (big cut'n'paste of the links section) => are still to be done -search => is no more necessary, but it will reappear as a global site search engine (not 4 poor scripts) - guestbook => will rest in peace... When this is done, we have an alpha version And then there are a few other functionnalities left to code And i have to code a better admin section And i have a huge post-prod list of things to add and fix (ideas we had during the development, little bugs, etc....) And i have to buid a complete site+database backup system And i have to write scripts to store static data (mainly text of reviews, probably 20000) on the database And we have to clean everything up and migrate in one night (!!!!!) And then we'll launch psynews2 beta. Then you'll have a new forum dedicated to bugreports and functionnalities to add Then you'll have psynews2 Release Candidate Then......eheheh the most impressive functionnality still remains to be seen. Then we'll have a true 2.0 version !! When ?..hem let's say - March 20th for alpha - April 15th for beta - May 1st for final then it will have taken 9 months to engineer and develop...i could have done better but i'm too lazy when i return from work. mars.
