I listened to hardcore as a kid. Nowadays I think it's awfully childish. The only decent tracks (meaning that they don't irritate me when I here them) I remember are these: Mad-E-Fact - The Hustle The Alternative Creators - The Beast Dj Jappo - Sensation Of The Mind OK scratch that, those were pretty crappy. Sorry, I guess it all sounds awful now...

Back in the days when many artists had their tracks for download on mp3.com, I found that on Astral Projection's page. So I'm pretty sure they have some connection. Utterly incredible track.

Well, what can I say... Prodigy was the first band I seriously got into. The Fat Of The Land was one of my first cds. Nowadays they don't play as big a role in my life as they used to ten years ago, but I still love their music. Music For The Jilted Generation is their best work in my opinion.

You mean Diary Of An Afro Warrior? Haven't heard that one, but i guess you should check out that Newstep album... Yeah, Vex'd is also good. If you want something even more IDMish, Boxcutter might do the trick. His album Oneiric is awesome.

I strongly disagree. I think his first album is far superior in every sense. But to each his own I guess. And Goa-Head: check out some of the tracks on that Benga album I recommended, I think that gives you quite a good idea about dubstep. I can't describe it with words, but it's something really new, fresh, quite urban....
