  1. I like Sami Koivikko very much, seen him two times. You should try his homepage, there's some mixes for download. Man I'm like the biggest fan of Thinner! I've downloaded their releases from 1 to 52 (I don't have always access to fast connection so I don't have them all). I think their best stuff are the older releases by Digitalverein, some older tracks by Curse, Paul Keeley - Sussex Blue EP and Baier/Box - Boxing/Unboxing EP. BTW I don't think IDM is similar to tech/microhouse.
  2. Hehe good ones Cinos... That Nazi pic was teh best!
  3. No don't do that The song could actually be minute or two longer, it's not boring at all!
  4. np: red sparowes - buildings began to stretch wide across the sky and the air filled with a reddish glow what a trackname and what a track...

    V/A - Twelve

Not very good album I'd say. Some tracks are boring, irritating even. Best tracks are by Logic Bomb and Hallucinogen, both 8,5/10, others I don't like at all.
  6. After some listening I find this very good. It really needed time to grow... Best tracks are The Moon, First Ray Of Light and People Are Animals. 9/10
  7. Try this: Vitriol - Rectificando. Check out the label Neurot Recordings. I think this album could be worth buying...
  8. Mantis Mentis roxor! A little more work into it and you got an absolute masterpiece! The beginning needs some more stuff, maybe percussion (I actually like the beginning more than the last minutes but it still could be a little bit better). And of course the mastering could be slightly better, but still very very nice work. Haven't downloaded the other tracks but when I have time I'll do it.
  9. Solar Stone - Solarcoaster Andain - Summer Calling Way Out West - The Fall Iio - Rapture (Armin Van Buuren Remix)
  10. Some stuff that is released 1995 sounds much better than Spiritual Healing IMO. Very bad production, I've heard tracker music with much better sound quality.
  11. The choice was easy.. Of course Etnica/Pleiadians!
  12. Galloping Coroners - Conjuring Up The Wonder Stag Nice psychrock with the 60s feeling....
  13. G-Corp - Peacetime from A Different Drummer Selection by Richard Dorfmeister This is great
  14. Yeah this is a classic. Second track is the best of the album IMO.
  15. Really?! I downloaded some of your tracks! Some of them were too noisy or harsh for me but I remember one track that was very very good... Think the name was "like flares all alight with longing lost in the thickest fog of all" or something like that, I thought the name was cool. Was the track made by jobe? Or was it even released by arghprkl?
  16. You know everything is a rip-off of something else done before, in all forms of art (literature, music etc...) Only if you would have lived in total isolation, eyes and ears closed, so that you wouldn't have seen any kinds of drawn or painted pics, read any printed text or heard a microsecond of music, then you would be able to create something completely "new". But that's not possible. So shutup about the so-called rip-off dragontrain. It's not copypasted, it's created from scetch.
  17. Had to revive this topic because finally I've heard an extremely good finnish psytrance track. It was in Konemetsä festival, the sunday morning, don't remember who was playing but they played Mandalavandalz - Kaunista. Hadn't heard the track before but I fell instantly in love!
  18. Then there is Neurot Recordings who release stuff by Vitriol, Bee And Flower, Steve Von Till, Neurosis, Grails, Made Out Of Babies, Galloping Coroners etc...
  19. I love "beatless ambient" more than "ambient with beats". Just because it's so relaxing. You can really travel to places in your mind when listening to well made ambient. That is if you concentrate on the music. On the other hand it can be only backround music, ambience, like Brian Eno "designed" it to. Some albums I like: Wabi (it's not completely beatless but it can be counted in here) Robert Rich & Brian Lustmord - Stalker (of course) Dystopia - The Second Dawn Siniaalto - Siniaalto Temps Perdu? - Terra Incognita Vidna Obmana - The Spiritual Bonding everything by Biosphere And from the older times: Klaus Schulze - Mirage Tangerine Dream - Phaedra
