1)I dislike fullon.. but It's not exactly the same bassline... there are 4-5+ different kind of basslines, lol. Basslines are pretty much similar in most goa too... only that in goa tracks basslines were more rich and interesting due to the LFO/frequency change happening all the time, much more fluctuating basslines, therefore less boring.

This is clearly more on the melancholic side....impressively melodic and touching, yet not cheesy 5 Het Freudvliegje (9:01) Where are we now? i suggest that you dig some old pre-2000 stuff mainly first , including names such as MFG, Dimension5, The Infinity Project, Transwave, Astral Projection, California Sunshine, 1st Infected Mushroom album[The Gathering], Chi-A.D , etc...

well, by definition, psychedelic = something that brings the psyche[=soul] into surface,makes the soul apparent... Generally, in art, I think that psychedelia could also be related to vivid colours, weird sounds,repeating patterns bringing chaos to order, surrealistic images etc etc....

what is psychedelia for you, first of all??? IMO most psychedelic genre is ambient,some idm...and goa too.. imo fullon is not psychedelic... that doesnt necessarily mean that all fullon[ish] suck...

i liek it not.there are some good albums, e.g even early GMS were listenable.. but today's fullon is even worse, much more formulaic and predictable... and melodies that dont fit with the track :S and cheese :S e.g i liked Electric Universe - Cosmic Experience , but i bet that if it didnt have rollings basslines it would be even better oh, and i dont think full-on is just about rolling basslines. it doesnt mean that if the bass plays 16/16 steps the track is fullon
