almost MFG haven't dissapointed me yet... so i am awaiting their new album to see..

Rules are everywhere... even the mafia have rules. There's a logic. Imagine a hub with no rules...: SUCKY, full of leechers, viruses/trojans/fake files, shit...

XTC and some other skazi tracks aint really bad, but 1)They become boring after many listens.. therefore, they ain't tracks you will still listen to after 1 year or more. 2)Skazi is out of ideas... so the majority of his tracks are boooooring as hell... 3)Skazi's RMXs are DESTRUCTIONS... e.g I wish, or Smell Like Homus, or Seek&Destroy[he just added a kick and a full-on bassline and that's all 0 SUCKYYYY

have you tried amazon.com? you might find some old albums at very low prices. e.g som1 i know had bought Doof - Let's Turn On for just 6 euros !

here's a few tricks with reason: It's best to have more than one mixers. 1)DRUMS MIXER 2)BASS/FX mixer 3)Leads mixer 4) General mixer where the whole sound will be edited btw, a delay trick: Set a Delay to e.g 3 steps and left pan and another one to 5-6 steps and right pan. Then add it as a send effect to the sound you want... sounds good

true, most remixes are "destructions" of the original tracks, but there are a few i actually liked more than the original AP: CHAOS, POWER GEN, VISIONS OF NASCA. Generally: album is a bit above mediocre... i was very dissapointed by the dancing galaxy / people can fly remixes Mahadeva rmx wasn't really that bad, but sorta startled me with that euro-trance style[especially the intro]. <<< My overall rating is 6/10 >>>

nice skillz there m8. btw when it changes the volume goes down & up very suddenly.. i guess it's just cuz it's a teaser [?] Really liked the melodies/climax etc , i guess your track is unmastered [no problem anywayz it's not you that will do the mastering, you could just improve its sound quality a bit ..]. I will probably find out about this track on Friday, as it used to be played as an intro on a goa/nitzhonot trance stations some years ago.. will phone the DJ[now he plays mainly full-on ] and i hope i find out.

That's my point. You can't create a good track with ONLY FL. Fl rewired to Reason, YES. Btw you say they all sound the same... i ask: 1) what are the compression/equalising capabilities of FL? of Reason ? of Cubase or Logic ? Also, i'd be glad to listen to some of your tracks...

i didnt say fruity & reason. i said fruity only. i am aware of the fact the you can create very kewl songs even with FL, but with Reason 3 it will be almost sure. As far as the stoneage thing is concerned: It's true that software is getting more and more popular but more guyz use hardware, even some new artists[e.g visit Filteria's studio @ www.filteria.com He combines hardware synthesizers with Logic on his mac]

It's not bullshit... Certainly, FL doesnt have the same quality as Cubase... That's for SURE>. Just see all the features cubase has.... IT's no point arguing... Btw, have you seen any well-known artist using fruity ? NO. Many of them combine their hardware with Cubase or Logic however...

Any1 got this song from Boris Blenn [ Electric Universe] ? unfortunately i don't even know how it sounds like as my friend doesn't remember.[i have never heard this track]. It's old skool goa i think.

If you're sorta lucky you might find the track you're after or some of the compilations on Soulseek or DC ++ [ there is a huge psytrance hub]

sorru but this is a fact... i don't think you want to compare fruity with Cubase or logic or Reason in terms of sound quality etc ? From creating sounds [ with Malstrom/Subtractor ] to mastering with equalisers and compressors..

huge. Reason 1 is really poor. Reason 2 is much better but still not enough. Reason 2.5 is improved and has a lot of additions [ new reverb, scream4, vocoder, etc ] Reason 3 will rock will be released on 10th march. check www.propellerheads.se

that's what i would do if i had WIn XP, cuz Cubase SX wont run on win98se . So, i am just waiting for reason 3 to be released, as it will have some nice new features[Combos, MClass(MasteringDevice) etc ]
