MFG & FSOL are certainly not dark for me.. Sandmand maybe.. From oldskool artists i would also say Toi Doi, Cydonia, Psychaos, Xenomorph, UX, Darshan , The Delta had dark edges in their music.. As for the ear-bleeding madness, well i agree it's not that dark, mostly twisted..I can't stand most of the 160BPM madness.. But have you heard to artists like e.g Para Halu ..(Album The World Of Peace , or Battle Of The Future Buddhas - Demonoizer or some Schlabbaduerst compilations or Derango - Tumult or Procs - Stuck In The Oven With Me.. I think you will like some of these.) Many factors, probably that the scene expanded, most artists don't explore new ideas are blend with other genres.. (there are exceptions such as X-Dream maybe, or Electrypnose with his downtempo/chill album even featuring IDM)....

Play that during the trip peak.... :D

Lack of new ideas. As I said, I find few artists to create music with enough psychedelia, and they're mostly in the dark realms of it.

more mellow & less trippy IMO than the previous Displacer albums but still very good.

It's dead in terms of innovation I agree , a few artists do release some music that's worth something (whose style of psytrance you didnt like, even in the older years) .. (Derango, Electrypnose, Para Halu , KaSol/ Schlab freaks.. )

Joti Sidhu has lost it I would certainly prefer him evolving his twisted,dark PSYCHAOS style with tracks such as MAD LANE, FLEXUAL, ELECTRONIC UNCERTAINTY etc

for Derango (was playing BOOMORGON RMX , now playing TIME TRAP) perfect place would be: Night in a forest isolated from civilisation

It's well done, I think only one of the first melodies sounds not so well synchronized..

I would say Electrypnose.. well not exactly "fullon" closer to darkpsy but still has some fullon elements. Nothing to do with typical generic 10000times-heard full-on structures though.

nice track overall - i think you just work more on the break part.. also maybe just a bit louder kick? I really like the sounds in general of the track but I think maybe it would be even better if you added more layers, it generally sounds a bit empty at times and can be tiring.. But all in all nice stuff, much better than your previous track that you had posted here..

It's good chilly album in a similar style as their previous albums, decent but nothing innovative, it's a nice ambient/chill album..
