  1. good choice ukiro.. I would choose ...eh some Biosphere or Vidna Obmana or Robert Rich or Steve Roach.. or.. Stevie Be Zet - Archaic Modulation Tom Heasley - Desert Triptych If it was to choose Robert Rich I would choose Humidity , for it being 3 CD's.. Could compromise between Vidna Obmana & Steve Roach by taking their double collaboration album, Well Of Souls.. eh... hard choice , really. and then there's the whole idm/ambient genre , Displacer, Ab Ovo , etc...
  2. Haven't got into the whole album yet, will listen to it soon again.. now playing Displacer - Arroyo another must have , this and his first album [Moon Phase] are IDM/ambient gems..
  3. yeah Monolake has nice futuristic sound, cross-over of minimal techno beats with ambient, Snapinho you should check out some albums in case you haven't.. POLYGON CITIES CINEMASCOPE GRAVITY MOMENTUM and Sasha - Airdrawdagger, yes that definitely suits your sets too..
  4. mmm, no Leave The World Behind ? That's my favourite track from Twin Sharkfins.. If you like their Downtempo stuff check the Schlabbaduerst Rekkords 06 compilation, it's full of similar chill/downtempo ... Yeah electrypnose rulez and I think you will like his chill/ambient album as well, titled Subliminal Melancholies. Btw, has DARSHAN - AWAKENING album been mentioned in this thread?
  5. thnx for reviewing it mate, I had never heard of this compilation , tracklist sounds interesting..
  6. well in 2005 it was debut album of derango + tracks at compilations... And it's an album that standed out from the rest of "dark psy" ..
  7. Yeah a 2nd Ethereal album would be fuckin' great.
  8. psy-trance only? well : 2005 : Derango - Tumult
  9. mmm what about some breaks? for example, would you play a track such as FSOL - We Have Explosive in that kind of sets? or try a few older Biosphere tracks from albums such as Patashnik, Microgravity, Insomnia(few tracks from Insomnia if i remember correctly).. well not THAT danceable but they have a steady beat anyways check'em out .
  10. Braindancing in the dark realms of the mind with Flint Glass - Nyarlathotep yeap, one of the best IDM-influenced releases of 2006, maybe the best.
  11. Miranda dark??! Juno Reactor dark ? personally i think these ones hardly have any dark edge... well. Battle Of The Future Buddhas - Demonoizer Electrypnose - Le Tireur Des Ficelles (2006) Penta_-_Unreleased-Promo-2002 (Unreleased, in the style of Pentafiles) Toi Doi , Psychaos , as already mentioned... Schlabbaduerst Rekkords Volumes 1 , 2 , 5 [although 2 is reffered to as 'morning' music hehe I still think you will find it dark enough..and it has enough melodic parts as well..]

    IDM

hehe yes, also his previous album was named Next To Departed... planned? I am waiting for the new Spyweirdos 2xCD to be released on Poeta Negra....
  13. Not all tracks are full-on either, I would say it's more tech-trance oriented. Even the full-on structure/basslines tracks are much better than average full-on... Still it's almost none of the old Koxbox psychedelia as in Forever After or Dragon Tales, this is much more futuristic and cyber, techno-influenced psy. It's not bad at all, just doesn't have almost any of the old koxbox elements, just a slight touch, still I think this is a good release..
  14. mmm i think it must be Droidlock - Strange Day for today...
  15. Megalopsy - Abstract Machine full-on with a dark edge...
  16. Thievery Corporation - Sounds From The Thievery Hi-Fi
  17. it's time for.. CALIFORNIA SUNSHINE - NASHA... np 01 - OTHER LINE
