Common stop with your personal attacks. Don't you see they are not working? You are just sinking yourself deeper and deeper. -
And as if that wasn't enough plot thickens here again: more drama.

Wow hold your horses buddy. You are way out of place calling me an idiot and taking it so personaly. Personal insults and incapability to keep your emotions in check seems to be common charasteristic for Mataphysic crew and its affiliates such as yourself. Of course if someone likes your music he/she should buy it and I support that. However, I hear thinngs like PLUR, shanti baba, love etc. for people that buy and support you and basically saying "fuck off" to everyone else who has suggestions and doesn't buy. That's kind of fucked don't you think? -

Now that's a "pro" example of public relations every label should use as a standard. Let's see if "zing your potential customer" tactic will pay off -

I think this might be the reason why they are going "Pro" (click on the link): Methaphysic drama. -
you'll be sorry

you obviously choose not to use it to decrease the volume in the headphones, and you can't crank it up and rock on those speakers even if you wanted to...there isn't enough power for that...but hey it's your ears not mine
-
dude you have nice and gentle speakers and you like to rock it loud in your headphones... shuldn't it be the other way around? You might damage your hearing like that.

Q: Is it true that you heavily customized and altered your 303's? If so what changes did you make to them?

Nicely put ....unfortunately these Metaphysic dudes would rather engage in cheap shot petty fights than reason logically. It's too bad really because they are cutting the tree they are sitting on that way.
-
Who exactly attacked you and please show me his/her words. I'd really like to see where this attack happen.

Dude are you overacting a bit here? I don't see enywhere in that post you replied to from jivamukti that it's bad to ask for donations. I don't get the vibe from his tone that he doesn't appreciate what you're doing either. I see he is trying to find a solution and help you, give you ideas how to minimize your costs etc. It's up to you to either accept or refuse those ideas but taking it down to the personal level like your "18 year boy" statements is quite unnecessary. Your label buddy seams to have the same problem too. I have to admit you guys are confusing me a bit. First you produce old school Goa.. ok cool, people like it, give you good feedbck everyone is a happy family...then you ask for donations...still cool...people think you need help and they give you ideas how to solve your music distribution, site and other issues you need to pay money for....then you go crazy with "making a living out of our music" ideas which is completely out of touch with reality dude...then you take it down to personal level...what the fuck dude? Am i missing something here? If you think some other label is sabotaging you, please come forward and tell us what's going on. I kind of have hard time seeing any sabotage in this thread...I see people's concerns and wanting to help you and your overreaction, but hey maybe you have something to tell us we don't know so please enlighten us. ...and for the record I have nothing to do with any label in this scene, totally appreciate what you do but I do think you are a bit....how should I put this....confusing I guess.

..very mature debate...

How many people do you know make a living out of what they enjoy most in life? I sure don't know many...Maybe it's because you *have to* do your job and you have to do it on continuous basis that eventually make it feel like something you don't enjoy the most in life. I know some people that like what they do, but they would much rather do some other fun things in life than their job. Imagine you *had to* produce music all the time, regardless of whether you have inspiration or not, you had to do it by a certain hard deadline, it has to sound certain way, you have to compromise on you ideas, you have to talk to all the kinds of people you don't want to talk to to promote it, make friends with people you don't like so they push your release, ...all that to make a living.I bet that wouldn't be so much fun any more. My point is if you want to make money off of something, whatever it is, you better be a proffesional, be very, very good at it and don't expect it to be a labor of love because there will be times when you don't feel like doing it and you'll still have to deliver in order to keep your job/get paid etc. If you want to be an amateur and do it for fun that's fine too. Asking for donations is no big deal really and I support it, but don't expect to get so much donation money off of it that you can make a living...unless you live in some dead bottom third world country where you can pay your rent for like 10 Euro or something and people from richer countries donate what would be a pocket change to them which I highly doubt is the case. Don't get me wrong I fully support the idea of artists making their money but your business model doesn't seam like it's gonna get you where you want to be.

Does anyone know of any software for Mac that will automatically tell BPM of tracks? I've seen quite a few programs but they require you to tap the beat as the track plays but that kind of manual process is not practical and takes too much time if I was to do it for a lot of tracks. Oh by the way if the software can tell the tracks key it would be even better but not absolutely necessary. Thanks a lot in advance
