For Trade = Quirk - "Machina Electrica & Fornax Chemica"
visine replied to a topic in For Sale/ Trade
I do understand your point but maybe you didn't get mine. I'm saying there should be a way to let the public know of a good deal, but there should be a better time and place then just crap in someone's post. Have a look at my other post. Maybe pinned thread with everyone sharing good deals and leaving sellers alone would be is a good solution. I wanna stress I'm not trying to defend The Journey Man here. I'm seeing more and more of this behavior here and some kind of solution should be implemented. -

I still like it better then someone thread crapping while I try to sell something. I kind of find that rude. The kind of a pinned thread I discribed would maybe give me a better information how to price my stuff before I have it for sale too and give the same info to the buyers...and if the buyers are lazy to check it..well who's to blame? I mean the guy *may* make something like a freakin' 8 bucks if he bought the Quirk album and traded it for a new CD and everyone is showing it down his throat... like give me a break how many people here found something cheap second hand that was rare and then asked a small fortune for it? This thread crapping seems to be becoming a trend in this place which doesn't exactly encourage me to post my stuff any more. -

No but selling everything for 2 euros is not realistic to expect. Maybe soltion would be to have a separate pinned thread on top where all people that want to share good deals post links where they are so everyone can see it and then once someone wants to sell something is not bothered in his thread and can maybe make a better decision what price to charge. -

How many times have people posted they are selling cds and posted prices and then others started to complain it's too expensive? yes the public has the right to know but I don't think that asking for one new CD in exchange for that Quirk album is a rip off. Even if he bought it for one cent and paid for shipping etc he has only made very little monetary value if he is trading it for one new cd....and what is so wrong in making some money anyways? As long as the deal makes sense to the seller and buyer I think it's fine. Tatsu I qite remember you asking for pretty hefty prices a while ago (I believe they were for vinyl releases, something like 40-50 Euro). There's no whay you paid that much for them if you got them new in a store. I thought you were asking too much but I minded my own business and let someone else buy it from you if he/she wants to. If we continue to thread-crap at this velocity noone will sell anything any more because of the hustle he faces. let's be a bit nicer to eachother shall we? -
I'd go for some nice mid to downtempo sound with soothing melodies to go with the first rays of the sun...some nice and light music to put smile on your face, talk to people and spread some positive vibes.

don't know about that dude. I personally wouldn't be excited to hear boom boom tech trance when I'm tired in the morning after I danced my ass off all night....reminds me of some people mentioning they play fast full on in the morning...wtf!!??

You can listen to the Nuclear Ramjet guys talk about themselves and their music here. Have fun

Anybody know of any good psytrance with an more organic feel?
visine replied to amokoner1's topic in General Psytrance
almost anything from Juno Reactor -
here is another sweet deal here.

Most people seem to be going after the digipack version I think. That one seems to be more in demand from what I've seen.
-
Isn't that what I said here before: and then yossi agreed with me: Did you read that?

relax, they are in a category called "reference" headphones. Manufacturers call it that way, reviewers call it that way and it refers to the specific application they are made for. Hell it says "reference headphones" on the cans themselves. I did not make this up so I don't know where your "YOU vs us" bitching is coming from. I did not claim they are the only reference headphones in the world, nor did I claim they are the absolute best. It's true most reviewers, listeners and audiophiles alike will qualify them as one of the best commercially worldwide produced headphones. That is a fact and if you don't believe me do some research for yourself.
-
To each their own I guess. I prefer to have accurate and detailed sound in my headphones without any artificial colouring. Your headphones are good but cannot compete with 701's in this regard. When I want to rock it loud I prefer a good speaker system, and by "good" I don't mean $300-400 but $3000-4000 speaker system. I also value my ears and I'm not willing to lose my hearing by rockin' it in my headphones. I'm fortunate enough to have 701's and a nice speaker system so I don't have to choose between the two. Your situation and preferences may be different so like I said to each their own.
-
That's what speakers are for. No headphone in the world will ever come close to a good speaker system when you want it loud and feel the punch. Rocking in your headphones is a good way to go deaf. Just ask countless careless DJ's that lost their hearing.
-
well they are open headphones that don't try to overwhelm your ear with sound. Instead they try to reproduce it accurately. That's why it's called a "reference" headphone". I'd rather increase my bass on the equalizer if I need more of it then have headphones with already "coulored" sound.
-
Yes, they are expensive, but worth every penny I think. It's the latest and the best AKG model made to use for monitoring and mastering applications. Here;s what they say on the AKG site about them: http://akg.com/site/products/powerslave,id...anguage,EN.html

AKG K701 Phenomenal, rich and detailed sound.

This reminds me of all the different names for Hardcore/Gabber they "invented" over the years.. Speedcore, Doomcore, Happy Hardcore, Transcore, Terrorcore...Imverycoolcore, Impickingmynosecore etc.. :wank:

here: http://www.discogs.com/release/214731 tracks A2 and B2 are not known
-
How about Koxbox - Live at the Burning Man? Never released Blue Room CD/LP...tracks are released elsewhere...but not those versions.
-
There's also The Muses Rapt - Spiritual Healing remix that never got officialy released as well as some The Infinity Project tracks on a Dragonfly 12" record that also wasn't published. Two tracks were later released from that ep but two were not and I don't think the names of them are on the record...I think one of the released tracks was Time and Space...as well as the ambient version of Unconsiouss Collective - Fluorostani Transcendance (Dub mix I think).
-
Maybe ....Kaaya (Paul Jackson & Kristian Thinning) - Ormazd remix, X-dream - Coming Soon (Etnica remix), Etnica - Vimana remix...
