My first post! and 2 very melodical tracks
mind.breeder replied to Verb's topic in Free Music Promotion
I heard them only once yet, but found them hilariously funny Not something for tripping, but great anyway Kenosis could be a little shorter though. To fit my taste, you should improve the bassline (sample and melody), but if you're into the classic goa thing then it's OK In Kenosis, add some mid frequency layer to fatten the sound if you can... Good tracks, very entertaining indeed. -
I'm not a big psytrance expert, but old Infected Mushroom and Juno Reactor are kinda enjoyable. Some Posford sidesongs (like Long long arms or Beast) are IMO very nice and listenable...

Same mood here like in Mushroom Clouds. The whole thing sounds very robotic/industrial, which goes perfectly with that dark, hectic sound. I see you really like to use slicing, that's good coz u don't tend to overuse it and it only helps to make track more interesting That sample is from gargoyles right? Nice choice Mastering sounds ok, composition is fluent, atmosphere is nicely gloomy and spacy (appreciate that). Some really twisted, psycho lead or sick melody line would fit there nicely to make it unreal killargh I like your tunes, they are more experimental, stalwart and diverse than many other stuff around here. Cheers and GL on your next musical efforts -

Another tune with your warm and melodic essence. Very mind soothing Production is great as always.

Nice piece of psy. I like that noisy fx that kicks at 2.15, also the speech sample is fine and fx are cybergreat That melody between 4 & 5 min is verry funny, like from Shaolin movies The cons are that the bassline starts to get obnoxious after 6 minutes (at least for me) and sometimes sounds somewhat out of harmony (the bass). This tune is really kinda funky and I like that. You created an interesting flow that keeps the song interesting from beginning to end.

I lust listened to some of your tunes. They sound pretty energic and fine for the dancefloor. Very good buildup on some of them. I would use some more interesting bassline though. There are many possibilities... Nice work anyway. Keep up -

"Mushroom Clouds"... insane Psy/DnB/IDM-Hybrid

Wow Excellent Twisted Very good. Finally some more experimentation. I love this style - twisted beats, sick synths, yeah Very energic and moving. It gets too chaotic at some points (like two fill-ins are bit messy) and some parts deserve to be longer (to enjoy the trip), don't worry about the track length. And finally, lower down some reverbs a bit, the sound is sometimes cavy. What soft did u use? {tracker, vst, gear} -
... nothing is lost
-
Firebloom - great synth madness, really twisted tune

Sounds nice so far. Atmospheric beginning and pretty laid back vibe. I would choose a different kick, this one sounds way too factory-goa-trancy. Something less sharp maybe... And change the title! There are thousands of angels in the chill Otherwise, fine as always

wtf? Was it written by a fresh nursery absolvent? -
And your avatar is better When I first saw it, I went very LOL

Track went playing on winamp, I had to raise volume to hear it good. When track ended, I forgot to lowerit back and when another song kicked in, the room exploded I think the overall volume is kinda low
-
1 more thing - there is 2 minute silence at the end. Why? Get rid of it
-
Very decent work. Absolutely listenable track and somehow different from other stuff around here... Only fault I noticed was, that (don't know if it wasn't deliberate), but the tune is too quiet (overall volume)
-
First minutes remind of Juno Reacor in a good way, nice use of ethno drums (or what is it). Arpeggios are well made. I would suggest even more melodies and variation to breathe more life into the track. The voice sample is slightly overused - 2 repeats or so would suffice. And finally, some original break or two would be perfect. Overall impression - Very good work, nice dancefloor stuff.
