You could contact an associate of mine through his website at www.hallucinaut.com if you'd like some artwork done - I'm sure he'd do it for free... Of course, Setsuko's first in line -=- Matt/Strumpling -=-

sunconscious, It could definitely be done well-enough so as to not make somebody bored. As i stated in a previous pose somewhere, it could even construct itself into beats and melodies IN BETWEEN TRACKS! hehehe -=- Matt/Strumpling -=-

Children, we can wait. perFECT it, my friend! any word on a chatroom? It would be fantastic! of course, we understand if you guys can't do a chatroom - this IS a free site after all. -=- Matt/Strumpling -=-

Wouldn't it take up less space on the server and be cooler if there was a chatroom? that is all. -=- Matt/Strumpling -=-

I think your tastes will change drastically as you get further "into" it and really really start paying attention to what's going on in these CDs. listen to some Tim Schuldt it's what I "grew up on" It got me more in-tune to the sounds and more able to really LISTEN to what these sounds are doing with eachother. -=- Matt/Strumpling -=-

I'd have to say the 2nd Shpongle fits the 'Shpongle For The Family' slogan a bit better than the first. It is much more accessable, I've shared both CDs with people of varying ages and sexes, and in general, the 2nd one seems to be appreciated by more people, esepcially after listening to it more than once. I've probably heard both albums well over 100 times now (am i weird?), and both still entertain the hell out of me. I still notice new things tied together that I never realized before with both albums. My vote goes to Tales of the Inexpressible. I think it is a much better album. The sheer DIFFERENCE between every track (hell, even each track itself has a couple different styles to it) just blows my mind. Go around the world in a TEA DAZE and you'll REALLY love the new one (althought I loved it before I tripped with it). It's Inexpressible. -=- Matt/Strumpling -=-

Dude, CALM DOWN! ;-) -=- Matt/Strumpling -=- at least i'm not alone on this one. It's just me and mE..... lol

Yes. Precisely. I totally wish somebody had the balls to make an entire CD from that stuff. Just morphing from "cool thing" to "cool thing," without any classifiable "music" involved. If anybody's listened to the Haltya album, there's a track there I think it was called 1000 Ft. Per Second or something, it's simply noise. It's random electronic-sounding noises..... We need more of that stuff! It could be a whole "new thing" ya know? -=- Matt/Strumpling -=-

The only things I can make out that they're saying in between 1 and 2 is "OH my god!" and "I must say these are quite amazing-azing-azing-zing-ing-g" and of course "psychedelic" several times. If you have the volume up to the level Simon likes you can hear somebody say "gooooood" too. In between 2 and 3 is pretty neat too, that SCRAPING sound that tears away at my brain!! AAAHHHHH!!!!! -=- Matt/Strumpling -=-

If you're fed up with crappy goa maybe you should get some GOOD goa. And if you're calling GOOD goa crappy maybe you shouldn't be here. But let's see.... I've always liked a bit of Shpongle in the morning (and evening, and midnight, and so on and so on...). Asura - Code Eternity is a good one for "getting started" in the morning as well.. good ole Jiaiiaiaaaiaiaiiaia (Blue Energy i think it's called) is pretty cool as well -=- Matt/Strumpling -=-
-
So lemmie see if I have this right: it's Gaeiea, right? oh wait, that's not it; Jiai. Prounounced "Inreek Englessea" Got it. Thanks for clearing things up for us, Jiai. ;-) -=- Matt/Strumpling -=- Blue Energy kix ass

It may be hard to do this live (I don't spin....) , but it's always coolest when I hear sounds from the next song near the beginning of the first....... hell, sounds from song 3 or 4 in song 1 always impresses me (as long as it's not TOO much, just a "hint," ya know?) -=- Matt/Strumpling -=-

Does anybody else think the parts IN BETWEEN the tracks on the new shpongle are even more incredible than the music itself? Lots of it isn't really even music, it's kind of just "audio entertainment" but it kicks so much ass! I wonder if they'll ever make a whole CD like that - just a big morphing "sound-fest!!" -=- Matt/Strumpling -=-
-
lÿsërgïç and JUANA (;-)), Shpongle does a wet type of sound in ...and day turned to night near the middle of the track - very well done, sounds very "organic" -=- Matt/Strumpling -=-
-
What drives me up the wall is when somebody takes ONE sound and makes it do so many different things that it takes a few listens to realize that it's all one sound. It's the same type of thing they do in that kox-box track there the guy says "My Country is a State of Mind" and it loops over and over slowly morphing to "Aaoooouuuuuu......... AAAAAOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUU" WHen they do thoes types of things with a soudn effect, not just a sample, I find it very entertaining. Having a little chirping noise turn into the bassline or something..... Transformation! That's what "does it" for me. Guess it could be looked at as the sound "evolving" into something else, huh? we LOVE evolution. when they toy with voices it's really cool too. ANY toying with somebody's voice is usually quite entertaining. Some good voice-fucking going on in Mystery of the 13 Crystal Skulls on the doof track and the Shpongle track as well. -=- Matt/Strumpling -=-

That was a fucked-up sentence..... that's what I get for typing these messages in in such a hurry from WORK while my boss' back is turned! -=- Matt/Strumpology -=-

Of course, let's stay away from answers like "Stuff I've never heard before" types of answers!
