IMO things with the best "Production" kind of have everything - incredibly versitile and crisp-sounding noises, doing incredibly versitile and crisp-sounding interactions with all sorts of OTHER incredibly versitile and crisp-sounding noises. Also there are certain rhythms and chord-progressions that I really really enjoy.... Basically anything that can make somebody go "wow!" or "woah!" or "how'd they do that?" or whatever can be included in the category of "Good Production." -=- Matt/Strumpling -=- thats my opinion, anyway..

k u know how when you listen to britney there's no....... "trail" or "depth" to any of the sounds? well with psytrance these sounds whip back and forth and run into eachother and have big long trails and gated effects on echoes and all sorts of nice stuff that come out VERY CLEAR on those Walter Ego tracks. You know.... all that stuff that changes without changing?

I have my brand new Midiman Studiophile speakers hooked into a tiny crappy little discman, but it sounds fantastic - eventually once I get my audiophile soundcard functioning properly, I'll have it plugged into that Good topic, and nice setups, guys :-D

I totally don't even understand HOW people can complain about this....... Take a look at ANY REVIEW PAGE ON THIS SITE - almost every one of them is full of worthless bullshit that barely has anything to do with the quality of the given album..... This makes filtering through them to find REAL REVIEWS even harder - if you wanna talk shit to eachother, or have arguments or talk shit about an artist, use email or use the forum - reviews are reviews, not arguments and spewings of curse-words.
