Derango - All Channels Open

I love this Took me some time as well, but when I got to know the tracks... jeeez. Magical indeed. There are some moments in this album that really touch me. The ending melodies of for example track 3 and 6... beautiful. This is what I personally miss in a lot of in my oppinion overrated goa. Interesting how people percept music differently About track 5 - I think it's among the best on this album I simply LOVE those basslines, especially at the start when the kick is not really that apparent. And then those sort of subtle melodies around the start/mid... lovely stuff 10/10 for me

Well to me Derango actually sounds like forest... and I guess that's part of why they're so good - the fact that it is mad raving psytrance that still manages to include wonderful forest-soundscapes

Well I can tell you that I personally can not listen to Derango without relating it to the forest. And I also have to say that I enjoy this type of music a lot more outdoors... Taking a nice forestwalk with Derango in my headphones is just wonderful

Maybe some day you will understand...

Cinos since you obviously don't listen to this kind of music, nor feel it - stay away? To me Derangos music can best be described as, well, a soundtrack of the forest. Not only is this music to be played in the forest, it does for me, to some extent, create the illusion that the forest itself is playing it. It has an organic feeling to it, with trees creeking, creatures howling, and melodies illustrating long forgotten pagan forestrituals...
