Oh sorry. I run a mac mini (1.25ghz/512 RAM) but will probably upgrade (either to a powerbook G4 or a powermac G5) in the near future. So FireWire interface would be the best option as then I can use it on multiple macs.

Well also this is a question of getting an audio interface too. What can you recommend (maximum I'll spend is £300)? I also like the look of the Shure SM57 http://mixonline.com/TEC20/tec20-shure-sm57/

I know about Apple, but this saves a bit of money (separately the Fast Track and Mic come to about £110) Money isn't the point here. I just need a decent quality microphone or two to record percussion, piano and vocals and a decent audio interface. I was just wondering if this would be a good buy for that kind of stuff.

All those look nice. I have a M-Audio Keystation 49e and it is fine for what I do with it (£69). It only has mod wheel, pitch wheel and volume control, as well as octave shift buttons, but if you don't need a control surface and are happy with using the mouse, then I'd recommend that. Then you can save the rest for something else! I use it on a Mac, but it is PC compatible. It should be compatible with Reason. It comes with Live Lite as well.

Yeah. I think it used the FL standard guitar synth, Pluck, and also Synth 1 VST (I think) for the pads. I would like feedback, but I'm just saying that I can't really do much to improve this track as it is. Maybe I will re-use the chord progression in another track, develop it more etc.
