painful thread ... *crawls away*

cangrejo, you're so naive. you're so happy that you have a baby on the way .. imagine how happy you would be if you were an artist and people would not pay anything for your music... and you could not afford to be a dad. that would cut down on your happiness for sure. it's the same with artists. they love making art, and they wish they didn't have to go get a second job to get by. they want the time to create music. just imagine that your baby is to you what art is to artists. it's like wanting a baby but affording just half a baby. it's like having a baby but not being able to spend time with him/her, because you have to work too much cause you need the money to survive. in the end, let me make it simple: - music has the purpose of satisfying a person's needs. this makes music have some properties and a value, which makes it a product, a competitive product. thus there is a market for music. logically, everything on the market has a price. whoever wants to satisfy some personal needs through music, should get on the market, search, and trade value (money) for value (music).

Tegma - Around the World in 80 Minutes (Tribal Vis
moni replied to amphiton's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
hum, i probably didn't express myself correctly. what i was thinking was: Clock Next Door and Myth Of An Angel are very good tracks. once you've heard them, you can't forget them, cause they're outstanding. i'd recognise them in a million. so i was wondering if there are tracks in the same style on the new album. i was reffering to that level. but i guess you'll say that that's up to me to decide. i like outstanding tracks why "sorry to disappoint u "? .. last time i checked i was still enjoying proggy. your thinking of disappointment is disappointing me. i hope to see you guys live one day -

when you're talented, when you have "it" in your blood and love it, then music making can (or even should) become your job. so it should be paid, and with good money i may add. just like: not everybody can be a surgeon, or a lawer, etc., cause they don't have what it takes .. same way: not everybody is an artist and can make music. artists shouldn't have to get a second job to be able to get by. hire me to make music as a job and i'll get fired in 3 days. 3 days because i have a nice smile.

impossible releases? aww .. too many to mention. just one example or two: - i'd like Deedrah to release a track on a compilation, the Reload track style. - i'd like Blue Planet Corporation to release some tracks, one to be the Alidade style, and one track the Blue Pill style. oh dear!

to me Tegma is psychedelic prog, not full-on. this album is good news, i can't wait. -
i aggree about Deedrah (especially tracks like Purple Unicorn and Ananda) and Protoculture albums ... but OOOD? what's "bright and light" about that album? i wouldn't call it exactly as "morning" material ..

of course it has value. it has also value for me, cause i received it from a dear person to me. what are you thinking to trade?
