well, if full-on can be divided in 2 sides, the good and the bad ...well i'll be damn if you can't do that with every music genre. there is good prog and lame prog. there is good dark and bad dark. there is good chillout and bad chillout. and so on the prog sets were too cold, it was psy oriented, but still prog. one prog set started really great, but something went wrong and the dj was replaced. then the full-on set, which was the best moment of the night, and then another dj who spinned full-on as well, but it wasn't as good anymore. i heard some yahel at some point, and then i left home (i had to wake up 5h later and go to work) no, no link. i will ask him a few tracks, so i can upload them for you. even some people asked me "what is neo full on?" and i told them i'll show them.

don't get pissed off Tatsu. many of us can appreciate a good full-on when we see it. i was too fuct to talk about the party i went to on friday night, but the full-on set of ATMA was much better than the prog trance sets. the crowd went wild, even screaming like at concerts ahahaha sh1t, a couple drove from 400km to hear ATMA's set (his own music)

yes you did do you know Protoculture - Peakaboo ? coolie

hehe, each searches in a track whatever he/she wants. at 5:20pm, i looked for "uplifting" in this track. the scene is big. go run free on the fields.

not YOU, all of you *still wearing the Rain fan club t-shirt*
-
we should talk about full on in this thread. just as revenge.
-
you ruined this thread with your sound systems. Edit: you even corrupted euchkuh
-

please join part 2 of "Explanations and definitions of music - the moni style": .. experiment: take a full-on party for example .. you have to see the music and the mood at a party as a curve .. it starts from around 0 .. it goes up .. arrives at the climax and stays there for a few hours .. and then it changes its course to going down .. till the end of the party. Let's see. the party begins ... it starts with a dj who does the warm up. the warm up of your brain and the warm up of your body. his music is dancy, but not crazy-dancy. you can choose to dance during the warm-up sets, or to drink, smoke, talk. warm-up just builds you up till the next level ... deep in the night .. other djs or live'acts are next .. everybody is warmed up, ready to go wild, ready to waste energy on the floor, ready to get their grooves on. so the night full on is taking over the place now. the music can go wild now, it can be twisted, loud, melodic, dark, psychedelic, mind-blowing it can even make you scream ... cause your brain and body can take it. you want more. after many hours of dancing like crazy and tripping and smiling and screaming and all, the morning comes ... surely every party has its end. some people are still in the trippy mood, still dancing, some are more chilly, maybe a little tired. so the morning trance or morning full on comes in. this one is more melodic, it gives you 2 options: dance like crazy non-stop, or take a break and chill, drink something, hydrate your body, cruise some girls, trip, etc. or both thank god for morning music, else imgine how parties would be: mad music all night and then music stops and you have to go home. kinda brutal, isn't it? there is nothing sweeter than laying in the grass and enjoying some morning trance (or morning full-on if you want). your mind is still dancing, but your body needs a rest. so in the end the curve has come down again, the party is over, but the people are satisfied ...

you wanna recognise full on, but you're not familiar with technical terms and elements in music production? here's the answer! full on equals full power. the bassline is strong, the kicks are not ignorable, cause the're loud. the rythm is faster than regular trance. in goa tracks, the kicks are softer, trancier, the accent is put more on melodies and other elements that add into a trip/journey through the track. full power bass lines always existed probably. but lately more and more artists used these powerful kicks in their music, with the intention of making dance floor music. why? one answer could be the fact that CD sales were not so good, but the number of parties and festivals have increased. those require dance floor music. this way we have in the scene .. many artists that produce full on psytrance ... in a big group there will always be artists who will make themselves noticed by succeeding to produce good music, or by succeeding to produce bad music. so yes, full on has developed into a label for certain type of psytrance, it has become a style, a subgenre of psytrance. we, however, have divided full-on style into good full-on (music quality is high and originality is underlined, hehe), and bad full-on (which we hate, cause all tracks and artists in this cathegory sound the same).

well, i don't know what everybody wants, most people don't want a big change. i just mentioned a moderator who would keep an eye open. that doesn't mean i suggest we need a high moderation level. i do not see me insulting you here at all. i wasted too much time with this story. see ya.

nemo, each person has his/her own way of dealing with situations.

i was raised and educated myself so that i never pose as the victim. this thread started from my review. true or not? cause that's what i said in my post "all this fuzz started because". i didn't make it all about me. juuust the start. true or not? please focus. Kris, if you tell me that this "reviews section moderation" issue has been on your mind for months, and you even couldn't sleep last night because of it ... well, i'll bow in front of you and pronounce you the king of internet. it just bugs you since my review. interesting timing. and it bugs ESPECIALLY you, who said you will stay off the forum for a while. also, i thought you were ignoring me, OD, and Majoony. heh, you lied.
-
so you got my point, finally. you obviously didn't actually read what i wrote nemo. cause if you did, you would have seen that i offered to be a mod for the reviews section. or maybe you did see that

Soulclipse Festival - Turkey 2006
moni replied to el brujo's topic in General Party & Travel Talk (Worldwide)
what, you're planning to go as well? we kindof already silently aggreed on tomatoes for GMS. but you are totally right. great ideas OD. -
1. the fact that i complained in that thread means that i would like to see the reviews spam-free, yes. you are totally right. 2. that doesn't mean i would make a big change in the forum. i just see the need of a moderator to keep an eye open in the reviews section. the presence of a moderator is something more like NORMAL in a forum, rather than A CHANGE. 3. as i said, there is nothing spam or evil in seeing 2 people saying "nice review" to a person. it is even encouraging for the person who spent hours writing the damn review... do you get it now nemo? wtf is so UTTER STRANGE? are you trying to demonstrate that i am contradicting myself or something? this all big fuzz started because of 2 people, Trolsk and SOLO, who were bothered by some people who gave me the "nice review!" comment. i think i'm starting to get pissed. ffs.
-
nemo .. this is what i posted .. i think it was pretty clear: i don't see much of a "forum changing" attitude in what i wrote. i just see the need of a moderator, one that would keep an eye open. which already exists, you. but the forum is too big for you. so i wouldn't change anything, i'd just ADD a mod.
-
yes Rain, let's .. but your idea of making it better may not be similar to my idea of making it better for example. thus i will not vote. those 2 options for voting are not good enough for me. nemo, you kindof suck at polls
