thanks, that rocks. i'll gather a few people and try to discuss a few things, decide how we start and how we continue, who does what, who goes in the jury, etc. i am hoping that even released names will be in the contest. i am hoping that some released/famous artists will be in the jury as well. also, those who participate in the contest should not be involved too much in the organisation of this contest. i'd like a holly yes from mars first though.

for the last few pages we have been talking about an online mp3 release. somethink similar to Elixiria's compilation Private Message. or at least i was! pay attention. people, bring solutions, don't complicate this even more. now someone explain me, cause i don't know. why do we need a label if we want to make an mp3 release, online? what for?

any news at this stage?

well it's true, but you know the best things are done spontaneously. i belive there will be quite a few psynewsers there, which rocks we'll make a thread when the line up is more complete. that's next year, in january maybe. and see who's going then. surely some serbians, greeks, romanians.

i know this year in the same period as the festival, i was really sick. couldn't get out of bed and sh1t. my boss called me 5-6 times in the first day, and next day he asked me to come to work, cause they were lost without me. fockers. but i never say never ... still, a whole week is too much, maybe i can make it for the weekend part.

some people do that a friend made me do some voice samples like a few days ago. apparently he likes my accent. or at least he finds it funny. which is kinda funny. Skazi, if you read this, i'm free for recording on sundays.

yes. but it's the cover of a mix. he's not actually selling it. so ... details that don't matter right now .. if you REALLY have to bitch this cover, do it. but unless Kaa asks for comments, i don't think it's the case. you can comment upon the mix though Edit: when i said music wars, i didn't include american hip-hop/rap wars. those end up with shootings here and there anyway, Jay Z kicks Nas's ass anytime

ok, here's how i see the cover. stop the war, let the music speak up. use your music for a weapon. music wars can only be constructive and they encourage creative actions and aiming to higher and better. sure it's not a "sweet, lovely" cover. it's a bit of a shoking cover, but i say it's not bad. music has stepped in our social life many times. anyway, that's his statement on today's life. and he's got the courage to put it on physical/electronical support. etc etc

@ ProSect: don't worry, you'll be involved for sure. pr0fane too you're on my list mwahaha i have some ideas already, and we have the previous contests as experience and examples too. i'm gonna ask a few people to join irc or something so we can talk. BUT i don't wanna do anything before mars comes and gives his support. cause it would be useless to start something and then get a door slammed in your face. btw, Elixiria's mp3 compilation "Private Message" has been downloaded 6000 times. i'd say that's not a bad promotion.

not like this i doubt everybody reads this section on a daily basis, so i doubt many will see your question. i hope though. but we'll think of something.

i think a few people in the forum already offered their servers in the past .. we could have 2-3 servers maybe? so that the job wouldn't be too hard for just 1 server?

more people have to get involved nemo. i can gather those together and have a discussion. not just you and me. i'm nothing big to this website really. if mars decides to have a contest, we can start finding resources. if not, what's the point?

there are many of us with initiative, but mars kinda put us on hold, reasoning that he is very busy. many of us think that an online mp3 release is the best way to do it with no cost. hum. just like Elixiria does. and i think Elixiria rocks for that. so .. i don't know at what stage we are. we have a psynews owner that is very busy. we have a moderator that is also very busy. it's not hard to make the rules of the contest. it's not hard to find servers to host the tracks that participate in the contest. it's not hard to form a jury to select the winning tracks. it's not hard to find someone to make a cover for the release. but we need support from the people who run this website.
