most interviews are posted in the Artists - Labels Announcements section

well we label styles too much lately. i met some people from "***** records" (name not important) and they said they produce twisted psychedelic trance, but people label the music as dark, and it's not. it's just the psychedelic edgy twisted squirled sharp sound that's characteristic to them. bla bla bla
-
i don't want to call them newschoolers. goatrance would do. it's not like "old school" is dead. we still listen to it and i certainly don't want to vote for just 1
-
yes. talpa was at rhakti dei i wouldn't call talpa old school either. i like his music though.
-
What music are you listening to right now?

shpongle - nothing lasts... but nothing is lost -
define newschooler
-
i don't do that during the day/evening, usually i'm doing stuff all the time. i'll listen to it now.
-
yeah, zoo. i saw houses in the pictures. that sux for the sound. maybe they'll find a better location for next year. maybe i will come too.
-
but where is the location? in a city? close to a city? far away from the city? village etc? @ Nightmare: in such matters, the only fault organisers might have is for not putting garbage bags on the dance floor and area in general. still, you can't make them work 24/7 ... i know at some level i cried because of stress, i felt it was too much (i was in the TC crew). but that was just to get the tension out. at Transylvania Calling it was amazing how clean people kept the nature. sometimes during the morning people would just chill in the sun on the grass on the main floor, and listen to the music. and if somebody would start picking up something (before going to bed usually), others were joining the activity. but those were like a few plastic glasses and stuff.

cool question! i was just thinking to ask some artists i know how do they feel about reviews, and if they want a review for their new album. i mean, it could be a great promotion cool
-
it was great! good festival indeed. and people really respected the nature. pictures here: http://muppetry.net/taliana/tc http://community.webshots.com/user/lilithbr http://kep.tar.hu/buci123 http://www.psychedelic.be/coppermine/thumb...s.php?album=269 http://www.psychedelic.be/coppermine/thumb...s.php?album=270 http://ouim.org/gallery.php?album=20050721...%20(by%20Aluin) http://spacetec.ru/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=tran http://www.goanet.at/images/transylvania/index.html http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/cristiane_so/album?.dir=/df10 pics of TC2005 made by brian and daniel i don't know if i should make a review, as i was part of the organisation. i had a great time. others should speak.

stress is not so decisive. don't "run on the fields" the levels of the brain, the heart, the personality, the character, the education, the experience, are decisive in how you cope with daily issues, with problems, with stress (which is a consequence, but cannot be separated). they are also decisive in how we find solutions for our issues, and how we get rid of the stress. we should never see ourselves as trapped in life, we have to trap life and get the best out of it. i think we're pretty powerful human beings. if anyone doesn't feel powerful, please call +40743... hehe oh damn that was deep *wipes the little tear from the corner of left eye* can i join the session? i could use some too. i have this little headache and it's stressing me.

after this thread, Insejn will be seen as the toughest interviewer in the psy scene. all artists will fear his questions. we can also make some online form with our questions, and ask the X artist: - scuse me Mr. X, would you like to give an interview for psynews? - yes - cool, here's the link - *link* - fill up that form please. that would be funny.
-
of course it makes sense. i agree with you. different people perceive music different. it's all about different brain, different mentality, different spirit, different energy, and why not, different level of stress. that's why i made this thread. so i can make people speak about how they perceive music. and i chose beatless ambient, as it is a pretty much unknown ground for me (mostly for the reasons i stated when i started this thread).
-
hum, i listened to 1 track from that album, gave me a headache. i still haven't listened to the whole album yet. VA - Apsara sounds great though. what's wrong with Talpa?
-
hahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahaahahahahahahahaha boy, you're not sane
-
hahahahahahaha but it's not his fault! good point Tox, buuuuuuuut .. it is just an interview, just one artists, we can't make him answer for all our questions and all the unpleasant things that bother us. and we can't make him talk bad about other artists .. unless he wants to "WHY the hell everybody seems to wanna make a psy-RMX of tunes like Final Countdown or stuff by the White Stripes, rather than making something original themselves" please allow me to answer: maybe they want to be on mtv! actually, when i was a very new newbie in psy, i told some friends: it would be interesting to hear you remix a depeche mode song, or to make a remake in your own style. but nothing official, just for fun .. and then i heard the beginning of Wizzy Noise - Sabotage and said: hm.. still, it's not the same. don't think i'm putting this all together with Final Countdown & shit. i'm not. i just remembered it now.
-
hi tim how nice to see you here i hope you'll like it *checking that song* Edit: you know i like your music, but this track doesn't seem to beat 'ambient with beats' .. nope
-
this is a nice thread that's good! my questions 1. do you ever stay and enjoy festivals during summer? or you just like to perfom and then get out of there? do you hang out in the vip/restricted area or you don't consider there is one and just enjoy a festival with all the friendly faces around? talk a little about festivals and parties. 2. how important is the money issue when scheduling a gig? would you ever go perform live to a low budget festival? 3. what do you do when you're not producing or performing? 4. a few words about your girlfriend?
