Montreal in Canada.... tho i wouldn t count on the title for the best energy dancers here since the psy parties are REALY rare around here... they invite a psy artist once per 2-4 months (usualy infected mushroom ... i think they came like 3-4 times at this club last year) Hard Tech / House is much more popular and gets more ppl usualy than psytrance.... so the energy dancers are quite rare around here .................... unfortunatly

i saw them twice within the last 6 months....... once before the release of I m the supervisor... and the other for New year's eve (after the release) their music changed quite a lot from the old IM we were used to... but i think it has become party music... i dont personally hate the new album.. cuz i think it s got a good vibe to DANCE to... but i wouldn t actualy listen to this album at home... i know they are coming back here on june 10th (montreal) and i ll probably go... since i know they still play old stuff....... i m 95% sure u ll hear psycho/dracul/deeply disturbed/dream theater .... and some of their old classics... they played em both times i saw their live show and these are the songs that the crowd usualy reacts to the most... hope this helped

i absolutly love dancing .... and i m getting ready for GMS tonight i m not exeptionnal at it... i just close my eyes and dance in my little world so that nothing gets between me and the music... I remember when i saw infected mushroom in october... there was this one guy who was dancing like i ve never seen anyone... he was definatly the most energetic and synchronized dancer i ve ever seen... was almost as if there was no gravity at all... he was like flying on the floor with his arms doing some psycho stuff... impossible to describe... but he definatly was something worth seing...

try getting some Yahel and Juno Reactor..... i m 100% sure u ll love them

this prog looks real nice.... maybe some talented music makers could tell if it s worth getting... (i m pretty sure i ve seen some ppl talking about it on this forum) i was gonna give it a try with FL... but i admit i d like to stick to one program to really master for now.

thx i ll try getting my hands on FL (which one is the newest btw... is it the FL5 or is there a newer version?) o btw.. to answer the question u asked Dj Atomix Live is mostly a mixing program... it s actualy one of the best one out there to mix music and it s used by lots of great DJs in many styles.... like Sasha and Chris Liebing but creating midis is quite hard with this prog and i dont think it s really the best to MAKE the music.

i actualy really good... exactly how i like my psy... i think it s well dosed... no need for another layer in my opinion great job... and i also think u should sell this stuff man... u have a great opportunity here.

i dont think there s too many ppl wanting to make psy trance... as it is a style of music yet to be discovered by most ppl... and the amount of artists in this specific style of music is still far from the amount of artists exploring other styles such as tech... house and such... i think only the talent should be the cookie cutter for this music... and fortunatly... talent grows with practice .... which is why we can t really complain about people (like me) wanting to start.

i have to admit i m pretty lost.... i really dunno what programs i should get what they are good for... basicly i d love to know how to make a track from scratch... i love mixing psy in my free times... but i have to admit i gave up to make my own when i realised i didn t know where to start i got: ableton live 4.1 Reason 2.5 (but i dont understand shit about it so i gave up using it... if anyone could give me private reason lessons via msn it would be GREATLY apreciated cuz i m really starting from zero with this prog...) i also have adobe audition ... but i dont really use it... any help would be greatly apreciated... i ll leave msn address if anyone feels kind enough to help me hybrid_127@hotmail.com (thx for the topic btw )

are there any psytrance vinyls? i checked MANY record shops... but half of em didn t even know what psytrance was... and the other half said they never heard of psytrance on vinyls! if someone knows a good site where we can order psytrance vinyls... could i have it!? or good record shops in montreal where i could find some.... everyone seems to be forgetting about trance here... they all go for hard tech or house!!

imo ... IM is how i heard about psytrance... it all started out one day .. by one of my friends playing dream theater ... and i ended up REALLY liking it.. (so different from the stuff i used to listen ... PVD , tiesto , Buuren ... ) then i checked some of their stuff before seing em live ... things like -Dracul -I Wish -none of this is real -Deeply disturbed and they played few songs from their newest album ... then i bought this album (cuz i found them so amazing live) but i never could like it as much as i did when i saw em live so i started looking for more psy and discovered -Yahel -Juno Reactor -GMS -Hallucinogen -Astral Projection -Shidapu ... then a few months after... IM came back and pretty much only played songs from New album it took me a while to actualy like LISTENING to these songs... but they are absolutely INSANE to dance on... bigger the sound system is... better it is! NO ONE i actualy hang with listens to "techno" type music.... but i did force them to listen to a few songs from the newest album ( with is much more commercial than underground ) and they actualy liked them... and this was my key to kinda slowly bring ppl into this music. they seem to be the step between haters and lovers to psytrance i know most of you ppl will disagree.... but so far that s how i consider them.

everyone knows em... and i m pretty sure most ppl here started listening Psy with them... i would like knowing your favorite songs from these guys in order Mines are -Dream Theater -Dracul -Deeply disturbed -Scorpion Frog -Desert Storm -Devil -Muse Breaks RMX (from their new album) I actualy love their new album... i ve seen them on NYE this year..... by far the best club Psy i ve EVER heard! but i m having trouble listening to it if it s not to dance... lol (Yall should see Cities of the future and I m the supervisor live!) i m really curious to know your favorites

i would go for something different... Solo DJs/groups then a battle between em Infected mushroom ( of course ... ) Hallucinogen GMS The machine (a pretty versatile group formed by 2 montreal's internationnal DJs Preach and Marco G) then The machine VS Infected mushroom GMS vs Hallucinogen the energy would be amazing!!! this would be my dream line up!!!

I ve had the chance to see IM shows twice... and they really are something. i ll go see GMS on the 29th (April) i need to know more artists tho... so far my Psy list pretty much contains stuff from the few DJs i know... IM,GMS,hallucinogen,Yahel and i ve also heard stuff from a few DJs on DI radios ... such as DJ mountain, Granddaddy DJ .... o .... and i also know Astral projection... but i just dont want to state them... cuz i really dont like their music any1 know some artists i should check out? (i know this kind of thread has prolly been made about a few thousand times... but i m really looking for the bests of the bests hehe) (BTW if any1 lives in montreal .... be aware that GMS is at ARIA on April 29th hehe!!)
